Service is horrible, avoid at all costs. The all you can eat with or without drinks is not worth it. The drinks take forever to come so you cannot have that many. All of the food orders did not come out and we had to constantly reminder the server of missing items. The atmosphere is appealing but not worth the money and the embarrassment if you're hosting a special occasion. If the restaurant is to busy they should hire more staff and stop making excuses about bad service.

Fantastic place to have good latin food. The meat is delicious and the drinks are awesome. If you like to dance latin music and have a good bite, this is the place

It's unfortunate that my recent visit to LA Latina, a seemingly promising establishment, fell well short of these expectations, marred by issues that go beyond the realm of typical restaurant criticism.

To start with the positive elements, the culinary offerings at LA Latina were indeed delightful. The menu was brimming with creatively interpreted Latin American cuisine, with dishes that were both flavorful and visually appealing. The Ceviche Mixto, a vibrant medley of seafood, was marinated to perfection, boasting a wonderful balance of citrus and spice that danced on the palate. The Churrasco steak, served with a side of chimichurri, was tender, well-seasoned, and cooked exactly as requested, displaying the kitchen's impressive culinary prowess.

The atmosphere of LA Latina was equally commendable. The decor tastefully channeled Latin American charm, with warm colors, authentic artwork, and soft Latin music creating an ambiance that was both elegant and welcoming.

Regrettably, the commendable food and ambiance were overshadowed by severely lacking service and shocking behavior from the management. The waitstaff's attitude was visibly detached and dismissive, a stark contrast to the warm, attentive service one would expect in such an establishment. Requests were met with evident annoyance and unnecessary delays, making it difficult to fully appreciate the otherwise excellent cuisine.

Most disturbingly, however, were the instances of blatant discrimination observed throughout the evening. Customers of certain ethnic backgrounds, myself included, were treated with undeniable bias. This is not only unprofessional but also morally repugnant. A restaurant, like any public establishment, should be a place where all patrons feel equally welcomed and respected.

The manager's conduct was deeply troubling. Not only did they fail to address these issues despite complaints, but they also exhibited a level of aggression that has no place in any setting, let alone a restaurant. I was disheartened to witness an altercation that escalated to physical violence against a female staff member. Such behavior is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the management and overall safety of the establishment.

In conclusion, while LA Latina has much to offer in terms of food and atmosphere, the deeply unsettling experiences related to service and management make it difficult to recommend this establishment. A restaurant's worth is not determined solely by its culinary offerings but also by the respect and hospitality it extends to its patrons. Until LA Latina addresses these serious issues, diners may want to consider other establishments where their patronage will be valued and their dignity upheld.

Best night out with my girls for my birthday.waiter was awesome, food and drinks were awesome and the music was a blast. Would definitely visit again

This Restaurant is really got an amazing vibe. The hustle and bustle is a bit crazy though. We went at the busiest time to be fair but there was no choices or ability to ask for what we wanted. I waited like 20 mins for my first margarita.they did drop off some jugs of rum punch (I tend not to drink rum). The margarita was worth the wait.
The food was delicious we just didn’t know what most of it was bc it just kept coming without being named.but honestly really great night. The vibe was amazing (thank you Dj) and the servers and staff were really nice.

Be careful with going to La latina. The manager Gary physically assaulted a group of woman.

This place is lit and i mean it's full of dancing, amazing spanish vibes, Great music and tasty food.
Their drinks could have done a better job but the atmosphere inside will make you want to come again.
Also, they have a package where you can get unlimited drinks for 75$.
This is by far the most chill place if you want to break your routine of going to a normal restaurant.
This one tops the chart for sure.

Was there on Saturday and heard a commotion. Turns out the manager Gary had assaulted a Group of girls.

Do not got here @copacabana shame on on you for not addressing all the complaints.

Came here with a group of 10 to enjoy a nice dinner and all we enjoyed was the 3-4 drinks and the sides that they forcefully pushed on us to keep ordering. How much broccolini, fries, birria tacos, fried rice do you expect us to eat? We came here for the meat, and I couldn’t help but laugh when they came around THREE times offering the same meat, picanha! Moreover, it was quite disrespectful that they came around with prime rib AFTER we paid and had to leave, because there was a time limit and a reso after us! What, you want us to put the prime rib in our pocket on our way out? I’m sorry, but this place is lame and suggest that you don’t come here. The manager with the man bun is useless and don’t care about customer complaints.

Horrible service… got 3/14 main dishes, spoke to the manager who shrugged and didn’t care as he already got our deposit and our tip since we were a group of 10

Went for a birthday with a large party on a Saturday night. Reservations were made weeks prior. When we arrived, we tried several times to give the name for the reservation, and because the music was so loud, the hostess couldn't understand. It took about 15 mins to even let find the reservation. We were then told it would be 15 mins wait for our table, which turned in to about an hour wait for our table.

The food and music are great, but the service is subpar at best. Food takes 30 mins-1 hour to receive. Some items we ordered were never received. It is important to mention that someone with our party accidentally ate something containing shrimp, and is mildly allergic to seafood.

They're lucky the person doesn't require an epi pen, or needed to go to the hospital, but what if the allergy was that severe? Carelessness by the staff and management could easily result in a lawsuit or even getting shutdown.

A person from our party attempted to order non-alcoholic beverages, a soda; waited about a half hour, and the request was ignored. When we followed up with the waiter, we received push back, and were told it wasn't possible. After debating with the waiter about ordering a soda, and being told there'd be an extra charge (soda was ordered after last call), we finally received it.

This experience gave me the impression that money is all they care about, which is very unfortunate. Good food and music can only take a place so far.

What's even more telling is that there are countless other reviews expressing similar experiences and.it doesn't seem they care to address the issues. I wish I read them before going to this restaurant.

I don't think I'll recommend this place anyone.ever.

Our waitress Valeria was awesome, always aware of everyone in our table asking us constantly if we needed more food, water or drinks and also the guy next to us serving the meat was cool too. Music and environment were great My friends and I are definitely going back to la Latina.

Fun late night meal & drinks. Being Taco Tuesday, we ended up getting the Pork (Al Pastor) and Brisket (Beef) tacos.

I personally found the pork a little dry but the star was hands down the brisket. I'd go back again just for that.

We also ordered a few Pisco Sour cocktails and these were great too. Definitely visit to enjoy the vibe, music & ambiance - avoid if you want to have a conversation as the music could be considered loud for some people.

I'll definitely be going back to sample more food & drink!

The menu has changed and the quality of the products are not the same. Need to bring the old menu and the steak and other items.

Really good… as a Mexican I didn’t know what to expect or maybe expect nothing good but it really surprised me. We order some nachos and they where good different but good and then I got the pork tacos (al pastor) and they where delicious like I couldn’t believe they where soooo good, missing only a bit of a more spicy salsa but omg I felt like home…
Also lovely service by the hostess and server, food was quick!
Will definitely come back!

I eat tacos everywhere I go. I know what’s a good taco to what’s stupid. What’s good tortilla to what’s bad.
Can I give 6 stars to the Brisket Taco? It’s absolutely awesome! Loved the Pork taco and Cubano. Staff are all super friendly, patio cute. Will come back again!

Edit- I came back again. Ordered Brisket Tacos. Heaven! Huge thanks to their chef for creating this dish! Brussels sprouts was sooooooo good. Staff friendly. This my friend is the right way of doing a business in hospitality:)

I am now a regular and have come at least 6-7 times. Top notch food and service.
They have 10$ Taco Tuesdays which is a pretty good deal. Live music too:)

Where to start. Arrived on time, had to wait 10 mins after our time to be seated. We sat and then waited 10 mins for someone to recognise we were there. Not a great start. Water came and then fiddled with my phone and the absurd nature of a QR code menu, which is now a ridiculous requirment, if the table is wipe clean why not the menus, really? I will keep this short as it is very simple. Bad Service and lack of food choices. Nice lady took our order over the ridiculously loud live singer, turn it down so I can at least hear my family, just a little bit. Good singer bad acoustics. She duly took order. She was gone about 7 mins and returned saying that 2 of the 3 items were no longer available, its only 9pm? Within 2 mins my daughters order comes, why did it take you 7 mins to tell us you did not have our choices. My wife does not reorder, but I do.the Ragyu beef.it is now 9: 30, Daughter finishes her food in 8 mins, my side order arrives now, err why? I tell waitress I would like my side order with my beef, she asks me WHY? My beef arrives at 10: 10.1 piece of beef 45 mins! The restaurant is NOT full and there are plenty of servers. By the way waited at least 15-20 mins twice for simple cocktails. Went to order dessert, no desserts left, nothing.seriously. Bad restaurant management. This place has so much potential and the food is good. However the manager on the front needs to coach himself and his staff on how to deliver a good customer experience. Great food, very poor service and even poorer attitude. Remember the customer is usually right.

You must try the brisket tacos - the best taco I’ve ever had!
Everything about this place is amazing: service, ambience, music and the food, omg the food!
We had tostones, brisket tacos, ribs, tamale, and the guava cheesecake - everything tasted superb.

The service is very friendly, the ambience is super cool with spanish music and giving a Latin vibe.
The food is really good too, I got the brisket tacos and Pork Tacos, the brisket tacos were better to me. I personally didn't like the pineapple in the pork tacos.
The cocktails were good too. Definitely a place to checkout.

Added to the list of our favourite local restaurants! Live music on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays and Taco Tuesdays (3 for $10)! All in all, an amazing experience while not breaking the bank. It’s a gem!

Casual restaurant with pretty good food. Live music on the day we came (Tuesday).

Tuesday is also Taco Tuesday - which means all Tacos dishes go for $10. Each order contains 3 tacos. Ordered the Brisket Tacos which are quite good. Hubby got the piri piri chicken - not bad too. Sweet potato fries are awesome!

On my second trip there the food was cooked with precision and attention to detail. Generally the food is good and the dishes are well-balanced. There are a wide variety of menu items to choose from that are both creative and traditional. I only wish the food packed a little more flavor and spiciness as a Latin/Mexican restaurant.

Food and presentation was good. Music is little too loud, hard to have a conversation.
2 star mostly because I asked for hot sauce and they offered Tabasco or house hot sauce. I went with house hot sauce and later found out in the bill they charged me FOUR dollars for a small portion. It would be nice if they informed us ahead of time of the extra charge. Would not come back again.

Amazing atmosphere and great service. The food was amazing, definitely new favourite place. Strongly recommend you check it out, you will not be disappointed.

They have a good drinks menu. They app is awesome specially the fish croaks. And forgot the name of the drink which they serve inside real pineapple. Taco was ok for me since I didnt expect pineapple chunk specially ordering Taco?

Food tastes amazing - Coxinha (chicken balls) was mouth watering and the chicken and brisket tacos were delicious. The service is efficient and pleasant.

10/10 - What not to love about this place. The steak, Angus or Wagyu, is fantastic. Best grilled corn I've had in Toronto. Their tostones and fries are a must have. Their burger is just perfect with their home-made super soft bread that melts in your mouth. And should I not forget their bone-in brisket. If all of this wasn't enough, I come here every Thursday and they are so consistent you always want to come back for more.

The food was mindblowing and the service was quick and friendly. Will be back next week and bringing everyone I know here

Truly an excellent establishment and I am difficult to impress. AWESOME tacos, fries, corn and drinks. Only point of improvement is that drinks came a little after food. Seems like a bit of a bottleneck at the bar but forgivable given the times. Plus I saw the bartender running back and forth from the kitchen with pineapples to meet drink demands all night. Give that dude a raise!

Apparently their customers are aloud to just linger on the sidewalk making it impossible for people to walk by, so when people walk through them they can harass them

I have ordered from La Latina several times. The food is delicious. Brisket tacos is a must. The service is great! Gary and Milan are doing a great job.

Great patio and atmosphere, with friendly service makes it worth the visit. Decent tacos though a bit of added spice would make them extra nice. Tortillas could also a bit of time on the grill to avoid the dreaded soggy taco. Get a margarita. It'll make your night right.

The tostones were crispy and delicious, but the tacos were way too wet and sweet. We had the pork tacos and the brisket tacos. The pork itself was tasty, but they put grilled pinapple on the bottom of the tacos, so the juice just soaked through. By the 3rd taco, the tortilla was soggy and fell into pieces. The grilled pineapple was way too sweet. The brisket tacos also came with a sweet bbq sauce on the bottom with a wet mayo coleslaw also underneath the pulled brisket. It was a soggy mess and the last one I just ate the brisket meat out with a fork - even though it was painfully sweet.

It's also impossible to talk because of how loud it is inside the restaurant, with music jacked up to club level volumes.

Their QR code based menu NEVER LOADS because of the formatting and they literally could have printed their tiny food menu on the piece of paper that just housed the QR code.

I preferred when this place was Copacabana.

This place will do well. The managers who run it are incredibly friendly and nice, the food is good, quick service, excellent atmosphere/vibes, live music. Highly recommend.

AMAZING food and drinks! Staff is so welcoming and service is impecable. The latin atmosphere and live music makes it a very special spot in Midtown Toronto. I definitely recommend the Brisket and Pork Tacos, coxinhas and the Churros for desert! Cocktails were great too and they have amazing mexican beers. Its a 10/10 for me.

Unfortunately our experience was absolutely terrible. The ambience was not great, music is too loud with poor sound quality. A couple cocktails took 45 mins to be brought to our table, the main course came for my partner 20 minutes ahead of mine, it was cold, not very good taste (chicken chaufa), we were afraid of him eating it and we left it. My dish (picanha) was just ok, nothing amazing. Very dissatisfied with this place. Not coming ever again. Our server was trying his best but this place is managed by the wrong team. We told our server about the chicken dish and he took it out of the bill. However, the overall experience was terrible.

Beautiful interior and the service was good. They were friendly and attentive. The food was really good, very flavourful and fresh. We got the cod fritters (highly recommend this), with the mushroom tacos, and brisket tacos.

Great new addition to the neighborhood! The service is very friendly and both the food and cocktails are delicious! Their coxinha and smoked beef ribs are the best I’ve had. The restaurant has a very good Latin vibe and is great when you just want to unwind and have a good time. One of my favorite spots in midtown.
