Great food, and the portions are large. The combination platter & salad fed two people, comfortably with food left over. Delicious hummus, great falafel, excellent beef and mushrooms. Well worth a visit.
Amazing food and selection, nothing disappointed. Got the baba ganoush and combination platter with fattoush. Standing ovation for the rice, cauliflower and beef. Was enough for 3 hungry growing young adults.
Spacious restaurant, honest service, family vibes. Only constructive comment I can make is on the flourescent lighting.can't wait to go back:)
Had a great time and delicious dinner What truly stood out, apart from the fantastic food, was the exceptional service of Marie Claire she was attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. She ensured our coffee / tea cup was never empty, and her recommendations were spot on.
Summary: great Lebanese food overall (except for the spicy potatoes)
I've been to this place 3 times now! It's actually a great place. I highly recommend the combination platter, the shish tawwouk platter, the hommos, the tabbouleh (pictured), the califlower plate (pictured), but my favorite was definitely the FALAFEL. Their portions are very generous and the service is great. However, the place is obviously understaffed which makes your total time there a lot longer than it should be.
I don't necessarily recommend the kafta with tahini sauce platter (pictured) or the spicy potatoes.
Best Arabic & Mediterranean in the neighborhood. Felafel and Lentil soup are the testing trials which were superior in flavor and prep. So I suggest to give it a try. Recommend to book first.
I am Lebanese visited this place for the first time hoping to eat some good traditional Lebanese food unfortunately that didn’t happen The food wasn’t as I have read how great and tasty this restaurant serves Our sever was great she did a great job We asked to meet the chef not to criticize his food but just to meet him as he is Lebanese but he never showed up maybe he knew we didn’t like the food.
We were at La Luna on Valentine’s Day and despite not having a reservation, we were seated and served. The server was very pleasant and quite prompt even though the restaurant was very busy. He helped us make a selection based on our appetites and he was spot on! I’ve been many times to La Luna and have ordered takeout just as often and was equally impressed. Food is so flavourful and fresh and very generous portions. My only complaint in the last visit was the cauliflower was rather soggy. The fattoush salad is my go to order and the lentil soup is awesome! Also. Order the side mushrooms.fantastic!
Overall I would my rating 3.5/5 because, I am only rating based on my one take-out meal I ordered from this location. I ended up ordering the BBQ chicken sandwich, which came with a side of fries. I have tried this sandwich at a different location and thought, if I ordered the same at this location it would taste similar, but I was wrong, it just tasted average to me although it was made from a real chicken breast which is a plus. I believe if I go back to this establishment and order a different item off their menu, I will probably have a better food experience.
This place came recommended by someone we met at Hamilton General. It was so delicious. We ordered a Chicken Shwarma plate with hummus and fatoush and had it delivered by Door Dash to our hotel. We had our food delicious, and hot in our hotel suite within half an hour from ordering. We would highly recommend it.
Mediocre at best, the service was authentically middle eastern, we waited for a while just to get the menu, another 15 to order, and about 45 minutes for food. The waitress came by 3 times to bring water take order and cash out. Food was so so. All and all $130 for 4 people without alcohol (not sure if they serve)
I ordered the Fattoush Salad with Chicken. This is the best fattoush salad I have ever had. The dressing is absolutely perfect. Order with a side of their thick garlic sauce to dip your chicken in for even more flavour! If you're getting it delivered or not eating it right away, ask for the pita chips on the side so it doesn't get soggy.
The food is succulent, scrupous savory & incredibly delicious tasting & always fresh & somewhat spicy just the way I just love it! Kind Regards, Danica
We have always loved LaLuna for the good food, and service, great prices and atmosphere. However, things have changed. The prices have skyrocketed example $30.95 for a Shish kabob plate. The cost for 4 people was shocking. The night we were there, there was no air conditioning. No Manakeesh! It costs too much money to turn on the oven. The Pandemic has changed the place and I don't think we'll be back.
Ordered here on Uber eats (I’ve been a regular for 13 years) and you gave me expired moldy pita with my hummus. Super disappointed. I’ve called twice and nobody has picked up. The date on the bag you gave me is the 27th and it’s the 30th now. Gross.
Experience ruined due to poor service. Sat Aug 27 around 6pm. The female server was extremely rude with a poor attitude. Kept insulting us. Then I asked the guy that we don't want to deal with her so he helped us out. He was very professional. The opposite of the girl server.

The food and service is always 10/10 here but their taboule salad is to DIE for. There are so many occasions I visit JUST to order their taboule salad and nothing else. There's been times that they don't have any taboule left but they are kind enough to always make more. Other places don't always do that and will just turn you away, but not La Luna. The portion sizes here are generous too and great value.
It's super convenient that La Luna has a parking lot and there's always space.
Really reasonably priced and the food is always delicious.
We ordered the family feast and it was exactly that. The salads were great, meat was perfectly seasoned, and the veggies were perfect.
Sadly, they don't have a liquor license so you can't enjoy wine with your dinner (and this food is screaming for a glass of red wine), but still a great place to eat.
Waiter was extremely nice, the place was clean.food was expensive and wasn't that tasty.had the shawarma wrap and felt it was dry.my friend had the rice option with 1 skewer for 20 dollars. (naan kabob gives you 2-3 skewers for the same price with salad and a naan). Main issue for me was the rice was bland, but the chicken was good (not amazing, just okay). They justify those prices for being a healthier option cuz they do make everything from scratch.
We loved this place. We had a late lunch and everything was delicious. The best and most fresh falafel we ever had, delicious shish tawouk sandwiches, and great salad. The service was top notch with the friendliest waiter. We will make the trip back to Hamilton solely to visit this restaurant!
This was one of the few places open on Victoria day. We were pleasantly surprised with the good quality Arabic food we got here. Coming from Dubai, so far Toronto has been disappointing with Arabic cuisine. However, Khaboos was not as fresh as one would have liked it to be and the crispy potatoes were just dunked in some sort of bland tomato gravy. Otherwise all the other items were good
Decided to try something new during quarantine. Picked up an order of 'La Luna's Platter". I was floored by how good everything was! The meat was seasoned superbly and the rice, veggies and pita were done to perfection. The service was excellent as well. We had to wait for 5ish minutes as we arrived early but the man working behind the counter shared some Baklava with us as we left. I am very excited for their inevitable reopening so that I may try more dishes.
Ordered food last night. Not impressed. Seems like they grilled some food and poured un flavoured tomato sauce on everything. Rice was bland, the beef was way to fatty, and chicken seemed to be old.
We also had to wait an additional 20 minutes to get our food. Food was warm not hot.
Just picked up my isolation birthday dinner and it is fantastic.they served a birthday treat for free. Great food lovely staff.please visit if you can for take out or delivery. I drove from Burlington to get it.
Been going here for the last year and a half and even though I eat the Greek salad or the chicken shawama or the burger and fries it the most delicious place I have been to
Go here most Thurs and get the Greek salad I have nothing bad to say about this place m.c and the other employee I have not asked her name but they are amazing people
Always, always, always great food and service! Never a bad experience in over 25-30 visits over the years. Fresh ingredients without a doubt makes consistently great quality. We will travel from Burlington to dine-in or take-out. Lots of authentic Mediterranean items and entrees on the menu but also a few regular items for the not so adventurous. Best falafels ever. Pricing is also very reasonable considering portion sizes. Fatoush salad is so good. Quite big and loaded with a variety of veg.
