I Purchased a Fender American Vintage II 1961 Stratocaster in Fiesta Red with L. A. Music. Honestly, it's the best Stratocaster I ever owned. It play beautifully and it sound so darn good. Just like it should. It's not my first experience with L. A. Music and certainly not the last. They always gave me a first class service. Sam is an amazing guy to deal with.

Excellent selection, prices, and super fast shipping. Oh, and run by great people. Always try to give these guys my business before going anywhere else.

I've been a musician for over 30 years and am pretty picky about which stores I deal with for new guitars. I recently bought a new Ibanez Jiva Jr Deep Sea Blonde Nita Strauss signature guitar from LA Music and not only was the price awesome and the shipping lightning fast, they actually had the model in stock when many other places were out. When it arrived, it was extremely well packed, in perfect condition and was set up great (didn't even need to tune it).
The staff and store are beyond awesome and I highly recommend making your next musical purchase there!

If I could give zero stars I would. I’ve been trying to get a hold of someone at this store for well over 2 months regarding a guitar I want to order that is advertised on their website. I managed to finally get a hold of someone a few weeks back who said that the guitar I want should be in stock in 2 weeks. It’s been over a month now and nobody has returned my calls or the multiple messages I left on their answering machine. I’ve also tried sending emails and using the chat function on their sight. Still no luck. I get that this probably not someone’s full time job but if you’re actually interested in selling guitars, pick up your phone. We don’t all live near Mississauga where we can just pop in.

The story is legit and my only agenda is calling out bad service.

I'm leaving this review in place for now because trying to discredit someone for choosing not use their real name online is something that, as you said is a "mean spirited" thing to do.

I'm revising my stars to 4 because the person I talked to was really helpful and even went out of their way to find some answers for me with a supplier while I was on the phone. That is exceptional service and it is greatly appreciated.

Any time I have ordered from L. A. Music I have had no problems at all. In fact the fast, efficient service has meant items were ready to be picked up by the courier the same day. Correspondence has been exceptional as and when it has been needed. I would rather order online from L. A.music than visit the local music stores (two of the same company) and physically purchase items. Pretty much the go to place for all my guitar impulses:)

Wish they had a showroom more central in the city of Toronto. I've always been impressed by their catalogue and availability on the floor.

I recently ordered a new Schecter Pt guitar from L. A. Music. The order went well and I received the guitar without any delays. The product was surrounded in a protective bag, in a guitar box, inside another larger box. A few layers of protection. A nice touch was L. A. Music's email to let me know that the product was now available for pick up at my local post office. Sam from L. A. Music touched base with me after to make sure that everything went well with my purchase. I was able to keep my purchase in Canada while experiencing the best is customer service. I live in the great white north of Ontario so finding a trustworthy Online music dealer is important. After doing over 50 hours of research on the net I called L. A. Music because they had a lot of guitars I was interested in. I drove over 5 hours to get there and told them to have 20 guitars (yes Twenty!) ready to look at which I selected from the website.then I was told that I could not test drive the guitars, I could only inspect, touch the neck and feel the fret edges.which was fine by me because I did not want the guitars pawed by every Tom, Dick, and Harry. I was in awe of all 20 and puchased 17 of them on the spot for just over $65,000. (yes Sixty Five Thousand). Knowing what I know now. I just order online monthly for myself and my friends. I would buy even more but my lovely wife keeps me under control

I bought a Wylde Odin Raw Top from LA Music. Sam was incredibly knowledgeable and up to date on this line of guitars. It was great dealing with him and I'd definitely buy another guitar from him. I ordered a Yamaha guitar for my son from la music and I was told it would have to be ordered in from Yamaha as it was not in stock. I was given a estimated date on delivery and I approved that as it still gave me time to have the guitar by my sons birthday. The eta date came around and unfortunately it’s was taking longer than expected on Yamaha’s end. After going in a couple days after and speaking with Sam, he was able to help me out and figure out other options available based on the style and type I was looking for. Anyways, I left the store a few days later with a beautiful race car green guitar I’m sure my son will love, with a 7 day return option, and the guys at the store were great with helping me out with everything, the set up of the guitar and even on the price. Last month I was looking to purchase a Schecter Hellraiser C-8 and after doing the rounds trying to find one and getting bogus stories from other shops that it could take upwards to a year or more to get me one, I was getting discouraged and almost hopeless about ever getting one.

That is until last month when I tried my luck for the hell of it by texting Sam from L. A Music. Let me just say that this place wants to sell guitars and they have made it extremely easy for me to get the black version of this amazing guitar. I only seem to see people with the cherry black version. So when I was told 4-6 weeks for a pre order of this guitar, I was a bit doubtful but still trusted Sam as he had answered all my questions until then and even gave me a discount code. Well basically 4 weeks on the dot, my guitar arrived from California, in pristine condition, boxes into boxes to ensure no shipping idiot wrecks it. The unit was extremely well packaged.

The guitar in perfect tune. Surprising since I use a weird EAEADGBE tuning and it being an 8 string instrument.

Anyways I will quit rambling, this place is amazing, Sam is amazing and they sell top notch products for people that know what they want. And they will treat you that way as well.
