La Pita Halal Shawarma & Grill

The Gyro salad and the Souvlaki dinner both were delicious. The salad was so flavourful, I would absolutely recommend it.

La Pita Halal is absolutely devine. This was my first time eating here. I was looking for Shwarma in Burlington and stumbled on this wonderful restaurant. You can eat in or take out. The ladies serving were so pleasant and kind, and made you feel very welcome. I decided on having the lamb shank, with a side order of rice, potato and Greek salad, and it was so tender and delicious. I would highly recommend this place to all my friends and family. Please go, you won't be disappointed.

Honestly it was delicious.guy very friendly.lady not so friendly. Seemed like a place from back in the day so quite old fashioned if you like that kind of thing.awesome! Also my delicious food was served to me on a dirty tray.

Ordered lamb shank and chicken shawarma… lamb shank was good because of its curry/sauce…. But chicken shawarma was very dry and bland. The sitting area was worse … seats could flip any time … was very uncomfortable sitting there to eat …. And service was poor …. Compared to the sitting area and food quality, I would say the food was expensive

Me and my girlfriend always come here, we are regulars and all of the workers know us. The ladies are very friendly BUT today was a different scenario. Me and my girlfriend ordered food and went to go sit in the back (the restaurant is empty) I guess we might’ve been laughing a little loud and the lady with the hijab she’s kind of tall came and told us at 7pm that the restaurant is “closed now” in a very disrespectful tone and I guess that was her way of kicking us out? Won’t be coming here very often anymore, sad to see that people jump right to anger instead of telling us to quiet down like anyone else would.

Our first visit to Burlington and it happened to be the Rib Festival. As we've had our fill of Ribs for we decided to give this restaurant a go. For a change, we decided to try the Shawarma Pizza instead of the usual Shawarma sandwich, and we were not disappointed. We ordered a large which came with 2 sauces. It was delicious and just right for the 2 of us, although we ended up packing 2 slices. Overall a good experience. Service was prompt and friendly. Most folks were ordering takeout, but the restaurant wasn't very busy. Give it a shot the next time you are in the mood for some Middle Eastern cuisine.

First time ordering from here. Ordered shawarma and gluten free chicken and rice. The service was warm and friendly. The restaurant was clean, organized and well-run. The food itself was very tasty and filling. Will definitely return here again!

Great location, and good service with accommodating staff. Sadly, the food just isn't amazing. The chicken shawarma poutine was decent, but the wraps and meals aren't that good.

2.5 Stars - I have tried shawarma all over Ontario and this spot is very pricey for shawarma that I would describe as “Meh” (while shrugging my shoulders). But the staff are nice, all they need to work on is getting the food right.

I personally enjoy the food here, the falafel is good, and they use a vegetarian friendly gravy for poutine (which is really rare in Burlington). It's very rare that I'm disappointed by anything here.
My partner LOVES the chicken shawarma plate, and it's basically an automatic win anytime I suggest la pita halal.

Alright food. Service was super slow, and inefficient. Halal pepperoni was decent and the chicken shawarma is as well. A bit more of a fast-foody spot, and food quality is decent but nothing amazing

We popped by today for a quick lunch, And the food was extremely delicious. I’m happy we stopped by. Very nice and friendly staff. Food is made fresh right when you order they have outdoor seating, indoor as well very clean and well managed. Definitely worth visiting.

Beautifully decorated store with lots of food choices and absolutely tasty food. It's always very busy but there's always enough people at the stations and the counters and service is fast and above all, very friendly. Good menu setup (single or plate or combo) making it easy to order even for a new person. Generous portion size with lots of meat. Kebobs are fresh and cooked well. Flavorful and not dry at all. Got some tasty desserts and interestingly has a quick grocery pickup on the side. Booth style table inside and got a small patio as well at the front. Oh, compared to all the nearby places, very reasonable price. Would recommend.

Really loved their #food. Staffs are really nice and friendly. They suggest you to taste the sauces and salads incase you don’t like. Walking distance from the Pier.

It's a nice place to try shawarma and poutine, they don't cheap out on meat. Their shawarma pizza is worth giving a try too. The only reason for 4 star is that their service could be really slow. The Pizza took 35 mins to bake

There is simply no way that we go to Lakeshore Burlington and not have La Pita's chicken shawerma. Yup it's that good! We love how the shawerma meat tastes exactly like the one you get in the Middle East! The last time we were here there were boys making the wraps but today it was an all-girl team running the show, and they were awesome. They also have a great collection of Arabian desserts, nuts, spices, pickles, even fresh Gelato, and so much more. Like I said, whenever we're in the area, we make sure to make a stop at La Pita Halal Shawarma.

Good, tasty food with lots of variation to choose from. Can buy either Traditional shawarma dinner or plate with extra salad where you can add soup or fries for extra. For kids, Pizza and Ice cream options are wonderful.inside sitting capacity with good outside views of Lakeshore drive and park across. Summer patio is also available.

Love this place, so much options all for a good price. They also have good icecream and baklava, if you want a sweet after you eat. I enjoy the gyros wraps and the chicken shawarma dinner, with hummus and garlic sauce of course.

Its a busy restaurant if your going on weekends. But the shawarma pizza is delight for the wait and time. My best one is shawarma pizza and the Zadar.
All other options are good too. Liked the variety of middle eastern food. They do sell ice cream and other Middle Eastern dry sweets.

Very disrespectful staff, I went to order a veggie pizza with pepperoni they made fun of me, saying that it gonna hurt my stomach, I don’t recommend this restaurant at all, and this incident was on 16/07/2021 (night shift employees), I hope that the owner of this business considers such incidents in order to not losing a customer, thank you so much for your understanding.

Very kind staff, not the best chicken shawarma i’ve had.a little dry and they don’t put a lot of sauce on so it wasn’t great but very clean place and huge variety of food

They don't deserve a half star, rude owner. Took 24 mins to make 2 shawerma. Worst service ever I'll be reporting them to the ministry, hygiene procedures are not followed!

I highly recommend this place for shawarma. I tried the chicken shawarma wrap sandwich and it was so delicious. Try in the wrap: hummus, cucumber pickles, white sauce, jalapeño if you like spicy food. Most of the adds make the wrap extra delicious. This restaurant is also opposite to the waterfront park.so, It was amazing experience.

This place has the best shawarma in Burlington. Everytime I’m there, the staff are friendly and super accommodating (I’m a pretty picky eater and they’ve always gotten it right). Such an amazing business and environment. I’d recommend the chicken shawarma dinner for anyone unsure what to order!

The staff have poor attitude. The food was good before but the quality has gotten worse. During covid19 pandemic I witnessed during my visit the cook didn't wash his hands in between him serving different orders and handling money. They touch your food with bare hands after they touch cellphones and sweaty faces. I got a refund and left. Will not be back.

It was very clean, the food was delicious and the establishment was very aware of COVID rules and regulations. We felt safe and enjoyed a great meal.

The manager/owner of this place (skinny guy) has the worst attitude. After we were seated, we needed more space, so we moved to a different spot. After we ate, the skinny guy said with crazy attitude "next time you can't move to a different table because I have to clean it". Food is nasty, I'll never come back again.

Great food, many options and great hours especially during the summer. Love the variety of sauces available and the atmosphere is unique. Portions are also excellent
