Priyanka a very friendly and cheerful front desk staff recommended me the Aloo tikki burger… and boy… it was amazing. Reminded me of India. Their fries are the best I’ve had in a while fresh and crispy.
Those who miss the Mc Aloo tikki from McDonald should really try this one.

Hi ordered chicken biryani was dry and seemed old ordered lamb karai was no taste n big bones n watery ordered lambchops got with rice was to hard to chew rice seemed old wasn't fresh got Naan was thick and dry they give complimentary with the dishes and salad and it was just cabbage and 2 pieces of cucumber very disappointed with the food gone down hill on taste n quality very sad

The workers are extremely rude. We have ordered biriyani rice and each time we order they tell us 15 mins. Once we get there our order is still not ready. They only put it in the microwave once we get there. I don’t need to pay $20 for microwaved food. The lady at the front could careless and her customer service is horrible. Every time I ask for a manager she gives me an excuse she actually gave me the wrong number for the owner of the restaurant.

I ordered the garlic naan with butter chicken and rice for takeout. The issue came after I ate the food as I felt very nauseous and it didn’t sit right. Not sure if they gave me something old as I needed to take medicine after the meal to not vomit.

Delicious food (try the Shahi Paneer). Service was also excellent and fast (shoutout to Nancy, she was super nice).

The food was great. We were served by Priyanka, who showed amazing hospitality. Will definitely be coming back!

I have been a customer of La Sani Grill since their opening on Ellesmere/Markham Rd. They recently catered for a weekend event. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all. I took the owner's suggestion and picked up the food just before we were to serve so we didn't have to reheat anything. I would highly recommend giving La Sani Grill a try, you won't be disappointed! Thank you to the entire team for making my event a success!

Loved this place and food. We had garlic naan with paneer gravy and chicken items. Loved it.
I talked with the staffs too. Sunny and arya were super friendly. I would recommend everyone to give it a try.

Worst biryani I have ever had in my life. The biryani here is a nightmare. High on artificial colouring in rice, no taste. I ended up feeling nauseous after trying some. A total waste of money and risk to your health

I am sharing this review while sitting on the toilet since few days now. Ordered a nihari and what I got was a circle of chewy rubber in the middle of the stew. I will assume it was meat and tasted like the smell of dirty wet socks. Too bad I already ate half the stew, now I am, on the loo.

Been to the restaurant today at Markham and Ellesmere. The food, the ambience was good. The girl at the counter was very polite, respectful and friendly. I remember her name, it was Aanshi.

Had a very bad experience yesterday had ordered butter chicken but the food served was not palatable it was burned & literally over cooked, and the taste was also not that good.

Mango Lassi was warm
Tikhi boti was cold
they didn't have chicken biryani around 6: 00 pm on a Saturday.
The butter chicken proportion was very small for the price.
The yogurt sauce tasted old
There was no dressing for the salad

I ordered 3 butter chicken lunch specials with rice and added 3 naans for takeout. I was disappointed that they didn't give us cutlery, so I had to search my office for them. The naan was tough to bite, too dense and chewy. It reminded me of prepackaged naan from the grocery store. I ate the naan 10 minutes after picking it up, so it shouldn't have been so dense. The butter chicken tasted okay but lacked spice. For the price, there should have been more chicken. Most of the meal was rice, sauce & salad.

Same old menu for last 10 years. Need to reinvent new items as old ones are way too old. Also way too less veggie options.

The Butter Chicken with biryani-basmati rice melts in your mouth. Rice is aroma and soft, not sticky. The spice, taste is perfect.
Being health conscious person
I can eat a big plate of biryani basmati rice with moderate glycemic index. Eat healthy!

I've been to La Sani Grill several times and all times I've had great experience, never a bad one. All the foods I've tried are amazing specially the Malai Tikka sizzler and the Fish Pakora. I would highly recommend this to any one who wants a good taste of brown food in their mouths

Horrible customer service, meat was not cleaned so the karahi smelled and the biryani was atleast a day old.

Amazing place to eat.always had a great experience. BBQ platter with Naan is amazing. Kashif Bhai is a GEM, Ayub Kara is irreplaceable and cant forget the team that works the counter. Always fast, friendly and willing to go the extra mile to help and ensure your comfortable.cant forget brother tauseef who is honestly a great individual.he is always willing to help and support and speaks to the customers.asks them how the food is and if they are ok etc.we dont see that now a days.overall 5 out of 5 all the time.

I love roast and chicken wings. Whole the food is delicious and fresh. I often visit here twice in a week. I have never taste food like this in any other restaurant. I recommend everyone to visit here the taste the different.

I have been going to La Sani for a while now and I can definitely say that its one of the best places I have been to. The ambiance set works well with the food and creates and an experience of being at home while being away. Furthermore, the portions are more than enough to satisfy your appetite. Will definitely recommend.

This use to be my go to spot but not anymore. I always order chicken biryani and chicken pakora. The chicken biryani tasted old and the pakora was dry and old. I didn’t enjoy my meal at all. On top of it the cashier was not the nicest person. I don’t know what happened to this place but maybe it’s time for some new management. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Worst chicken karahi i have ever had till now in toronto. Like literally it was tomato puree and uncooked chicken it was just boiled chicken in tomato sauce plus looking at the price the quantity was way too less.really disappointed never going to visit this place again.

Ordered Catering for 50 ppl from Scarborough location.food was very tasty. Quantity was good. Quality was good.
Owner has a bit of attitude but quality of food compensated for that.
Overall I am happy.

I haven't been here in so long, mostly due to Covid. Seemed like we were the only ones there. I'll start off with the customer service, not the best, but I guess manageable. Just could have been more helpful and friendly. The food was okay. The nihari was very watery so didn't taste good. The palak paneer was very tasty though. The thing that bothered me the most was that the glasses were dirty. Even the new set was dirty. I think someone needs to do a better job with that.

Overall, their food is usually good. I wanted to try something different from the butter chicken today. So I went with the nihari. But I've had better. The Naan was super good. And I do like that they gave extra raita and napkins when I asked. Overall I would go back to this place and just not drink out of their glasses.

Location wise, lots of parking. And in a plaza with plenty of other dessert options. La sani sells kheer but since there were no pistachios I decided to pass. There is a dspot and chatime for desserts and drinks in the same plaza which was nice.

Good food, good prices, very tasty! Would definitely recommend. My favourite is the butter chicken, but they also have really good kebabs, and biriyani! Always have leftovers but they’re good for next days lunch or dinner.

The girl working on the night of April 19,2021 was very rude. She was not paying attention to my order and she kept socializing with the men in the kitchen. She had also given me short change after transaction. I hope not to see this kind of attitude ever again at this location.

I placed order last night, confirmed my phone number, asked 2 times GIRL at reception tk confirm my order, she gave me the bag, I left! Received call 20 mins later from her and she said I took wrong order. I drove all way from home and returned wrong order and then asked what can be done politely. 2 cooks at the back felt sorry and was talking about giving me discount. Meanwhile, GIRL came from back and she started arguing saying it's my mistake. I've been into many Indian restaurants but never received such treatment from anyone. Food was good but

Always delicious! The butter chicken, saag paneer, mixed vegetables and chicken wings never disappoint. Oh, and the naan is so fluffy and chewy. The whole family loves it!

There's a miserable woman at the cash that looks like she hates her job. Loves to wear a jacket while working - how professional! Glad to know that all the germs from outside are brought into the kitchen when she's there. Please, can someone teach this woman how to smile? Her face permanently looks like she just smelled a fart. This restaurant was good before but now believe me it's a waste of money. I ordered Karahi paneer and came out tasteless with uncooked Naan. Green sauce containers are like almost empty. I would never go to this restaurant. -5

Worst experience ever, punjabi song which they were place was too loud and annoying. We finished the meal quickly and left as it was unbearable for me.

I tried their Karahi paneer a few days ago and it was so good that even the non-vegetarians will also love it.

Pros:
1. Reasonable seating area.
2. Good food. Nehari is more like home style but pretty good. If you want authentic Nehari, go to Patna (I truly despise the smell inside the restaurant at Patna).
3. Service is pretty alright.
4. Food choices are good.
5. Value for the money. 3 people can easily eat under $45-50.

Cons:
1. Terrible music but with family or friends you can try and tune it out.

Food ordered on this visit:

There was a strand of hair in the butter chicken. The shahi paneer was sour. The naans were too hard.

They have variety of combos. We tried chicken Biryani and butter chicken. Overall the food was great and filling.

Seating arrangement is good but food was not fresh and service staff was sloppy. They keep chitchat with each other and didn't pay attention to their work. I believe owners' absence is the cause. We will not go there again.

I don't get what kind of food I was eating. Whole family is confused about food what the eating. It's just ok with no taste.

We went there on Saturday evening and ordered veg Chana and naan.
Amazing thing I noticed that owner was Pakistani and i heard girls working there at the cash, cleaning and serving were Hindu Gujaratis. They were all seem to having fun. In this world of hate, my eyes finally found peace and love.

Paid $40 for a small tray of chicken biryani. The dish can not even be called that- it wasnt biryani at all. They literally picked the meat off of 2 chicken legs to make it appear as if there was meat in the dish, and mixed it in with bland rice. I was expecting a lot more quality given their higher prices.it wasnt even acceptable, just plain bad. I can honestly say this place is terrible, what a way to scam your customers by providing them with such low quality food and charging higher than average prices. I do not reccommend them. Save your money, and go to a restaurant that can actually put out good food.even silver spoon is superior in comparison.

Sadly my husband and I were really looking forward to this.but it was beyond failure.we ordered boneless chicken biryani, chiken karahi, chicken tikka roll and chicken kebob roll. $50 order.complete waste!
first off the take.out order was soo messy that the chicken karahi oil was leaking in the bag all over everything in the bag.the raita for the biryani was spilling in the bag because they couldn't take the time to wrap it in saran wrap and the salad was subpar.wilted and not fresh at all.
$12 chicken karahi was extra oily and in a very small take out container.wish I could post the pic.container was literally the height of my index finger (literally 3 inch high by 4 Inch wide) and tasted soo bad.i can only imagine if a family of 4 ordered this.they'd be left hungry!
then the boneless chicken biryani.half the chicken was raw and pink and rice was soo dry.obviously they were not using biryani long grain rice.as for the rolls.the chicken tikka was soo dry and smelled like fish.and the kebob roll was also a fail.really wish I listened to others who posted saying AVOID! This is the best biryani and butter chicken in scarborough. Been going there for 2 years now and it's alway fresh everytime. I highly recommend this place.

The chicken specialties that they have in the menu especially the chicken tikka boti and reshmi kebab are my absolute favorites. The chicken looked perfectly roasted from the outside and it was tender and juicy from the inside. Perfect taste.

The food quality has gotten so terrible. Service has also dropped. Twice i ordered food from here and it was missing food. I ordered lamb shanks and received the smallest shank with half missing. When i called to complain i was told to order something else they they will give me a shank for free. Even worse is the person that answered the phone said she was the one that packed it and knew it didn't look right but still proceeded to pack.
This place used to be so much better. I feel recently the quality has dropped so much that i broke my review virginity for this.

Yummy and tasty Indian food near Scarborough. Their Paneer Kadai is a fabulous dish for me. Spicy paneer recipe is also one of the most used ingredients in Indian recipes and is available here.

I loved their food, but they seated us at the back, and it was really cold, and when we asked them to increase the heat, they said they can't do anything about it, even though the thermostat was literally across the room

Hair in the food on 2 occasions, customer service left much to he desired and food was extremely spicy. Didn't even offer water until it was asked for.

Possibly the worst food I had in a long time the CHICKEN CHARGA IS MICROWAVED customer service sucks I used to come here often but not anymore and would not recommend this place to anyone anymore.
