Lovely experience. We were part of a private celebration. The menu was prechosen so I can't comment on value or variety but or food and service were great.
Lots of stairs in and out which wasn't a problem for us. I think Nona (91) was allowed to enter via the kitchen to avoid the climb.

Visited this hidden gem for the first time tonight with friends. The ambiance and service are superb. Definitely recommend it. Lots of great options and very reasonably priced. Our waiter Noel was the best. Will definitely go back to this place. It looks like it would be super pretty in the spring as well.

Elio and his team were incredible! We hosted our staff party there this year, and I had nothing but incredible feedback about the space, the service, and the food. Elio and his team took care of everything, making sure the space was setup just right and as we requested to make our event special.

I had my twins baptism reception here and it was amazing. Great food, staff is so friendly and helpful, Jasmine and elio were so great to work with. The atmosphere was great, they even played awesome music! Overall, a great place. I will be returning for sure!

This place sucked. The mussel shells were all completely closed and absolute no. We ordered a bottle of wine and they simply poured without a tasting. Anyone who appreciates fine dining needs to stay away.

This is the second Baptism we have hosted at “La Veranda” and we are once again very pleased. A one stop-shop… a family run business with love and care. A wonderful husband and wife team… Elio creating the most delicious food … Jasmine taking care of all of your decor and service needs. The ambience of the venue is truly beautiful and unique on its own. Our guests had a blast, enjoyed the beautiful venue and raved about the delicious food. A hidden gem in the heart of Woodbridge!

It all started when my wife threw me a birthday party at this place. She had everything written on the contract and agreed on all the details, from food menus to the open bar. The ambiance and the food were great. Beforehand, my wife advised the restaurant owner, named Elio, to have an open cash bar, where all the guests would pay for their own alcohol consumption at the cashier bar.

During the party, the waitress ran around with red/white bottles, telling all the guests that it was included. When my wife noticed the situation, she told the owner not to open any more bottles. However, later on, wine was served again for everyone by the waitress. In the end, it was embarrassing for the host as the owner added all the bottles to the bill and refused to remove them, getting angry in the process. This led to a feeling of dishonesty and game-playing on the part of the owner.

While I would have given this place 5 stars for its great ambiance and food, the misleading and sneaky way they overcharged the guests has left me with no desire to go there again. I would advise anyone planning to host a party there to be 100% sure to check all the details and go over every small detail carefully.

We randomly chose this restaurant to celebrate a birthday. We didn't really know what to expect, the pictures looked good and the reviews were excellent. From the moment we called to make reservations, we felt so welcomed. Elio answered with a warm fun "Hello" and we knew we were going to have a good night. Well let's just say it was beyond our expectation. As we stepped into the door we heard laughter and lively conversation. We were seated and the rest of the evening was just so much fun. The presentation and food were outstanding. The Staff was attentive and the decor was warm and welcoming. We really felt we were sitting in an Italian villa. Thanks for a great night La Veranda!

I've recently visited this restaurant bathrooms were dirty, no toilet paper, had no hand soap hand, dryers didn't work either. Terrible service, alot of young kids working. Owners look very unfriendly.

Best place to book a any occasion like Anniversary, Wedding, Communion, Birthdays. Elie and Yasmine will take care of everything. Great place and amazing people.

I attended a family event here and my first impression was very pleasant. Decor is cute with nice vaulted ceilings. The food was delicious as well. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to come back.

La Veranda is an amazing restaurant for all your private events! The owners are welcoming, generous, kind and so helpful. The food is all so good; the calamari, cheese rolls, and cauliflower are a must try. But you can’t go wrong with any of the options.
The restaurant is beautiful and Yasmine is so great in helping you decorate it. All our guests loved everything about the event. Thank you for making our engagement a memorable one.

We hosted my engagement party here and it was amazing! We had quite a large party and everyone was so pleased with the food and service. The pasta was especially delicious and they even decorated the tables for us! La Veranda is really a hidden gem—highly recommend it for a private event!

Eat in the restaurant food is good but chairs need causions they are very hard wood chairs get some causions and put it on thx

5 stars is not enough.we just celebrated my Bridal shower there this past weekend and it was perfection. The service, the food, the beautiful decor… ugh I can’t say it enough.so if you are looking for a venue to host an event and have nothing to worry about than this is the place. We had a bridal shower on Sunday. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue. The staff was extremely helpful from the time we entered until we left, the tables were sent up beautifully, the food was more than DELICIOUS, and I owe again a HUGE thank you to Elio and Jasmin for going over and above to make the day and event perfect. Had my bridal shower few weeks ago at la Veranda and it was the most amazing experience ever, 5 stars does not do it justice. The food was amazing presentation and taste. Jasmine and Elio are the most amazing hosts what ever you need and want they make it possible. Always available to take a call and make your event one you will always remember. My Guests were extremely happy. Hosting an event at la Veranda is an absolute must will definitely be back to host more events here.

I had my daughter’s bridal shower today at la Veranda and it was the most amazing experience ever. The decor was mind blowing, the food was amazing as always, Yasmine and Elie are such wonderful hosts. Yasmine makes the impossible possible with her creative design and decor it was absolutely stunning and was breath taking. The bride to be and Guests were extremely happy and were taken away by the talent and passion behind the decor, hospitality and food! If you’d like to host any event, La Veranda is the place to be. I had the best time with my family here for my small yet beautiful engagement party! Elio and Jasmine were so kind, hard-working and made sure we well taken care of the entire time. I am so thankful I found this place, and am planning to have another event here this upcoming year! Jasmine already had a backdrop done for us, and all I did was tell her the themes of the colours <3 Thank you for making our day so special!

We had my sisters bridal shower here this weekend and it was so beautiful! The food was outstanding and the staff are lovely! Will definitely have many more events here!

Poor quality food and service. Kept forgetting our appetizer despite frequent reminders and only received it after our main. Did not have a vegetarian menu for their set menu initially and then made an eggplant paramagiano which was reheated from frozen (steaming hot on the outside, cold on the inside), dessert was miniscule, about the size of 2 batteries. The ambiance was nice. Paid $170. Not worth the money or the wait.

The ambiance is very comfortable and inviting. The food I would have to say mediocre. The service was less than acceptable. They had 2 events going on and they were short staffed. We were seated at 7: 15, they didn't take our orders for 45 minutes and even after we were quickly served we stoll waited for 29 minutes before our drinks were served. We may give it another try hoping that it was just an off night. The management was very friendly and comped us some after
dinner drinks (to make up for the poor service I'm sure). It's such a cute restaurant.

My fiancé and I chose La Veranda for our wedding because we loved the decor and food. Little did we know this was only the beginning of their amazing service! They worked so closely with us to make the day perfect. We could not recommend this venue enough for a family dinner or special event. It was the absolute best!

Where do we begin? From the minute we started talking to Elio and Jasmine from La Veranda we knew our experience here would be unforgettable. With the pandemic posing many uncertainties we turned to them to help us plan a micro wedding at their restaurant. They guided us and constantly reassured us that they would pivot with us as the government continuously changed restrictions. They would take time to reply to our e-mail or give us a call to talk.

Up until our wedding on June 19,2021, Elio and Jasmine went above and beyond to make sure our day was simply beautiful and one we would never forget. Jasmine worked with us to come up with a photo area and even provided her own decor that matched our wedding theme (she is so unbelievably talented). Elio was nonstop working our wedding night to ensure everything went smoothly! Thank you! They allowed us time to set up and tear down our event. We can't say enough good things about them.

I know people always want to know about the food and it was DELICIOUS! Plenty of food to go around. Everything was fresh and so flavourful.

We will be back celebrating at this location. Thank you La Veranda!

Everyone loved the decor.the owner did a spectaular job matching the decor to the bridal theme! She went the extra mile and helped me out wherever needed and made planning the event super easy for me. Thank you Yasmine for making my daughter's event so special.

Hands down a 10/10 experience attending a wedding at La Veranda. The food was phenomenal, the staff was so kind and the atmosphere was wonderful. Excellent experience!

Horrible experience ordering from this restaurant (used Uber Eats). Ordered Grilled Organic Salmon Fillet. They had a deal going on - Buy 1 get 1 free. The description said it comes with cauliflower rice, mushroom, and pancetta.
But when I got the order, the cauliflower rice, mushroom, and pancetta all were missing. What I got instead was a small salmon piece with carrots, broccoli, and some beans.
This is misleading at best and cheating at worst.

Consistent friendly service, great food and vast wine list. The restaurant is beautiful. It is designed beautifully. The moment you step inside their doors it's as if you travelled to the Mediterranean. The ambiance the amazing service, and the good food why we keep going back to this place.

First time there only person tending to customers guy working in the back kept popping up with no mask.
The Kebbe balls were frozen on the inside my wife’s chicken was cold and raw at the end my mussels were also cold would not go back.

Food and hospitality were excellent. Six in our group set at three Covid compliant tables. Will be back.

We celebrated our daughter’s Baptism on her first birthday here. Everything was so beautiful! The food was excellent. The service was great. The decor set-up by Jasmine was stunning. The venue itself is beautiful, cozy and warm. All of our guests enjoyed the evening. We look forward to hosting our next event with La Veranda again!

Great food, very accommodating staff/owner. Ask for item that are not on the menu - it's great food and portions. Decor is very welcoming and there is an outdoor seating. The 'veranda' overlooking the Piazza.

The owners and staff were all friendly, helpful and very hard working. Setting up was great the place looked fantastic. And the food! Let me just say this was some of, if not the best, freshest food I've ever had!

I highly recommend for any event or wedding. The prices are great value for money aswell. Made our day very personal and special! We will never forget!

Our families had the pleasure of visiting La Veranda in Woodbridge to celebrate an 80th Birthday Party. The food was delicious and the staff attentive and bright. Attached are a few images - a great local venue.

Amazing experience! We thought long and hard where to host our third daughters baptism & let me tell you we picked the perfect place. It is absolutely stunning in there with that rustic feel to the point you don't need much decor. Elio was amazing answering any questions and helping us pick out our menu he was very honest in his opinion on what we should have and not have. His wife Jasmine was an absolute gem with her decor ideas but like I said didn't need much but her little touches just made the place even more perfect! The staff was just as great always asking if we needed anything, making sure the guest were fine & the music for our party was on point great selection! The only thing I wish I had found them sooner for our other two kids celebrations. Elio & Jasmine we can't thank you enough for everything once again everything was just perfect!

We have just returned home after having an AMAZING wedding shower for our daughter at La Veranda Resto in Woodbridge this afternoon and we haven't stopped smiling. We were looking for a chalet-chic venue with charm and character and we were delighted to find this wonderful restaurant / event space which delivered beyond our expectations. Jasmine and Elio were so wonderful to deal with - very attentive to my "control freak" needs - and they created exactly what I envisioned for our daughter's shower. I cried when I walked in because Jasmine (co-owner and designer for the event) truly captured my vision for the event - thank you dear Jasmine for bringing our "It's A Wonderful Life" 40's themed party to life with your carefully chosen props and charming details - the "antique" radio/record player and vintage suitcases were SO perfect. In addition to being an ideal space - the food was absolutely delicious. Especially enjoyed by our guests were the house made polenta french fries (how do they make them so delicious?) and the vegetable risotto which was exceptional in taste and freshness. Our main meal consisted of roast chicken - sitting on a pillow of perfectly cooked mashed potatoes - and just right harvest vegetables - needless to say - the food was appreciated by all - our kudos to the chef. In addition to the gracious hosting that Elio and Jasmine provided - our thanks to Elaria and Nicholas who also provided us with tremendous service. We are SO happy to have found La Vernada Resto in Woodbridge and we are delighted to recommend this great venue with 5 STARS +. Thank you so much Jasmine and Elio and your great team - you helped make our daughter's shower a memorable event that we are sure we will be talking about for many years to come. Great place and atmosphere. Looks like a cozy cottage. We had a few main dishes and appetizers and everything was excellent. Service was great and fast. Definitely will come back again.
