We had a great experience at this location. (Scarborough) Sales associate, Simone, was excellent. We got our delivery date bumped up. Talked to the employee at the warehouse, he was very nice, and cleared up our delivery time for us.

This is our fourth time purchasing LaZboy furniture over the past 20 years. Every piece has been great, comfortable and lasted the test of time. This order is a couple chairs and ottomans. Simone assisted and provided great service with attention to detail. Looking forward to our two new additions and will update.

I recently bought my sofa from this branch and I am very satisfied.
My sales consultant Todd Armstrong who really helped us order the sofa we wanted,
We just received the sofa and we are really happy with it as expected.
I am very grateful to Todd for his patience and character, which was not pushy at all, and overall it was a very good experience.will definitely go back there in the future to buy a recliner.

We purchased two La-Z-Boy chairs from the Scarborough Store on July 14 this year. Our salesman Todd Armstrong did a great job explaining the different styles of chairs and what suited our needs. We are very pleased with our purchase. Service has been great and we would recommend that everyone should try a La-Z-Boy recliner chair. They are so comfortable.

We had a positive experience at La-Z-Boy furniture Galleries in Scarborough.
Our sales person Myron Rajashivam was very professional and extremely helpful and knowledgeable with our purchase of a recliner and sofa. We had to wait for delivery but this was explained to us. Myron always responded quickly to any inquiries. The sofa was large and was going to our basement. Justin Flear was amazing at delivering our sofa and getting it downstairs. Came for the very first time searching different home items and met Bruce. He is professional, knowledgeable and a great consultant to deal with. Lots of variety to choose from. St. Patrick's Special Clearance items on sale now. Other items, you get a discount of 10% from original price. Complimentary design service also available for see it before you buy. Highly recommended visiting the location!

This store took my money in July 2021 with a promise that my couch will be delivered in 180 days at the very latest. It is day 276 today. Every time I call the store, the staff say my couch will be ready in 2-4 weeks. This has been going on for months. Every month they say it is 2-4 weeks away.

Plus, they refuse to adjust my bill! They took my money, violated the terms of the signed contract (delivery timeline), and refuse to accept responsibility for that contract.

I am dismayed by this total lack of business ethics and professionalism, and have no choice but to go to the Better Business Bureau. You can’t just take peoples’ money and then not deliver a product! I am stunned that staff at a well known store like this would behave in such an unprofessional fashion. Their products are expensive, and so please be careful before you spend money here. You could spend thousands and still have an empty house for almost a year… with no recourse. Be careful!

Recently visited La-Z-Boy in Scarborough. I was that customer that walked in 10 minutes before closing on a Friday. Was greeted by a very knowledgeable and professional salesperson Patrick Jackson. I quickly laid out the exact measurements/style of sofa-chaise I was in the market for. Needless to say, we had the deal done and delivery arranged before the store closed. Patrick was super helpful and made this experience a very smooth and comfortable transaction. Thank you!

Worst post sales customer service. Purchased a $4,000 sofa bed. Was told at the time of the sale that the sofa would be delivered with home assembly. Was delivered fully assembled and would not fit through our doors. When I called the store, they informed me that there would be an additional $500 assembly fee. Would not wave the fee, given it was clearly their mistake.horrible, returned sofa did receive a prompt refund

One of the worst purchase experiences. No one in this store cares after they make the sale. I had to cancel my order (they couldn’t delivery a couch from their own local warehouse to their store) 2 weeks of calls and they kept saying they don’t know why it’s not shipped to the store yet and a different department is responsible for it. Such a poorly ran store. Please look for other furniture company or at least other lax-boy location.

I took my mother to this Lazy Boy location today with the intention of looking at chairs to suit her needs. While I didn’t think we’d find something she’d like in one visit, we were pleasantly surprised with the selections and customer service! We were fortunate to have a wonderful sales person, Jamil, who listened to my moms needs, answered her questions and offered her a great range of selections without overwhelming her. Jamil was patient and kind, making her purchase an effortless experience!

I bought a recliner at La Z Boy furniture. My experience dealing with Myriam was impressive. She was very professional and responsive to all my concerns and questions. Her product knowledge was amazing. I didn't feel like I had to shop around. She worked with me on a fair discount and I know I got good value for my money. She appears proud to serve her customers and deserves being recognized for her efforts. I highly recommend La Z Boy furniture because Myriam made them shine. Good luck with everything Myriam. You're awesome.

We needed a new LazyBoy chair for Dad and all the LazyBoy shops were closed because of the Lockdown. However, between the excellent LazyBoy website and the courteous and extremely helpful Sales Consultant over the telephone, we were able to place an order seamlessly and that exceeds Dad's expectations.

I had booked an appointment online with the manager there as I was unsure what the protocol is. I was then greeted by a wonderful sales person Jamil. I will say, this has been the best experience shopping for furniture. There was no pressure at all during my time spent in the showroom. If you are in the market for furniture, I highly recommend Scarborough lazyboy. Their showroom is very spacious and have a large variety of options. If you like some furniture there, dont forget to take advantage of their design service who will design your room in 3D in front of you! Most importantly they have stock of what I wanted to buy and will deliver 1st week of April. I have shopped and looked around so many furniture showrooms and there is no stock for delivery! I am glad that I ended up here as I got all the assistance I needed to make it easy for me!

Myriam was amazing! She greeted us when we entered the store and proceeded to show me the different options for the sofa bed and recliner I was looking into. She was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, answering all my questions and showing me the options available to me. Truly helpful without being pushy. She made my experience shopping at La-Z-Boy an enjoyable one.

I can’t explain my frustration with this company and will never step foot in another store again. I entered the Scarborough location in early September 2020. I located a sectional I was interested in within 15 minutes of being there. I was assisted by a sales associate on the purchase of the sectional. (I will leave his name out of this because maybe he was just having an off day). Myron explained that he just needs to do the bill of sale and will be delivered in a month or so. Myron explained that he could not give an exact date for delivery because they are having trouble from the manufacture getting materials. (worldwide pandemic, very reasonable). To get the bill ready took hours. My girlfriend and I sat around waiting and waiting. Hours later it was finally ready, I went to the counter to pay and was surprised by the $150 delivery charge. I asked Myron if there was anything he could do, Myron contacted his manager by phone. 15 minutes later Myron walked over to let us know that the material we requested has been discontinued and they can’t make the sectional. Frustrated because we had been waiting around for hours we left the store.

A week later I wrote an email to the store explaining my frustration. The manger contacted me two days later and was very polite. He explained that Lazy Boy does have the material and they can indeed make the sectional. Great! I headed to the store again, met with the manager and purchased the sectional. The manager told me to be safe expect the sectional to be delivered in late November.

As November passed by and we entered into December I had heard nothing so I decided to contact Lazy Boy. I spoke with a very nice receptionist who explained that some of the sectional is in but not all of the pieces. She explained that is expected in early December and they will contact me as soon as it’s ready. A couple weeks went by and again I contacted Lazy Boy. There was no update and they were hoping early in the New Year. I asked to speak to a manager and was put in contact with one the next day. I told him I understand that the situation with COVID and would just like some communication to let me know what is going on. The manager agreed and said someone would email me weekly to let me know if there are any updates. The manager said he understands and said “even bad news is better than no news”. I’m thinking to myself at least I won’t have to contact them every week and chase them. I’m thinking we are making progress.

Several weeks go by and guess how many emails I received for updates? ZERO. In the middle of January I finally get an email to say the order is in. Perfect! I set up the delivery for the next weekend and January 23,2021 almost 5 months later it’s here.
But wait just when I thought it was over. I look over the sectional and of course it is damaged. I haven’t even sat down yet and there are two large tears to the fabric, two of the legs are damaged and several of the clips that connect the pieces are damaged or broken.
I’m on the phone, writing emails within an hour of the sectional being delivered. It’s the weekend so clearly the people who deal with repairs are not in. I speak to someone who lets me know that Monday someone will be getting in contact with me. On Monday I receive an email asking for pictures of the damage which I send the same day. I’m told that they have to special order the parts and it will be another 6-8 weeks before I can have my brand new sectional repaired.
My battle is still on going and I’m sure it will continue to be a lengthy one filled with terrible customer service. If I could explain my experience with lazy boy in one sentence it would go like this. “If lazy boy was the last company on earth that sold furniture I would choose to sit on the floor” 0 stars.

Myriam and Lulu were very respectful, patient and helpful allowing me time to select the pieces of living room furniture I was interested in as well as making suggestions on pieces to consider. The home designer consultation is efficient and ensures your furniture will fit in your space and colours can work right down to the floor! It really saves time and reduces stress if you aren’t interested is going through the multiple samples to select fabrics and coordinate colours and furniture pieces as well. Looking forward to see our new space!

I had a very positive experience at the Scarborough La-Z-Boy Furniture Gallery. Jamil was very kind and welcoming and showed me directly to the part of the store for the piece I was looking for. He then gave me the time I needed to test and select the piece I wanted without any pressure or influence, which I very much appreciated. He gave me the time and the means to think my decision through and upon returning to the store the following day, made the process of purchasing my piece clear and easy. Purchased a sofa, two chairs, and a powered recliner. Solid feel. Bob was fun to negotiate with. Lost one star with the stores inability to mix and match cushions on the sofa. All in all very happy and will purchase again!

Shopping at La-Z-Boy Furniture has been a great experience. Jamil took great care of us from the moment we walked into the store. He was very helpful, informative and knowledgeable in all aspects. When Jamil introduced us to Wendy, La-Z-Boy’s in-home designer we were happy to know that we were going to have help in designing the new look of our room. Jamil and Wendy worked well together and made our buying experience a pleasant one. We are now looking forward to receiving the new furniture and putting the design ideas into place.
