After I lost my house to a devastating house fire, I went into the Burlington store where Beth Hudson and Ghina (designer) helped me replace all of my furniture.
They came to my house and created a virtual model of the interior. Then, I sat with them in the store to pick out all furniture carpets and accessories.
They helped me design my perfect interior. Everyone that walks into my house is blown away. It’s truly magazine worthy.
They are professionals and made the experience exciting and easy.

Bought Jan, delivered March, they did not put it together properly so it broke - 6-12 weeks to fix. 3 months later broke again on other side. Waiting again to get one piece replaced. Waste of money - will never buy here again. Only one star for customer service when I called in about getting it fixed.

Absolutely amazing experience! Can’t say enough about Lana and Tracey they understood our family’s needs and had an eye for our living space and decor. They made our living room a wonderful and inviting area to spend time with family, so much so that we came back again for our family room! Looking forward to using them again!

Buyers beware! La-Z-Boy has turned into the laziest, lousiest company from which to buy furniture.

The sales people will peddle fairy tales about the extended warranty and workmanship, but the chair that is delivered after several weeks is NOT even close to the same quality as the one you try out in-store or may have bought years ago.

Forget about the way chairs used to be constructed from solid wood, durable fabric, and strong mechanisms because these newer chairs are now made with cheap particle board, lousy material, and faulty mechanisms which fall apart within days under normal use.

As for their warranty, expect to wait two months for a repair person, then two months more for the parts to arrive and again two months for the repair to be done. Even then, after all that time and trouble, the repair does not resolve the issue and it breaks down again in days.

We have bought many chairs and living room sets over the last decade; however, we will NEVER again waste thousands of dollars on buying this rubbish from La-Z-boy in Burlington.

La-Z-boy's reputation is worth less than the paper the new contract is written on and if you read carefully, it states there is a 50% restocking fee after 24hrs! Buyer beware, this company has no scruples when it comes to taking your money and delivering inferior products.

La-z-boy is lucky to have Wendy. She works tirelessly for her customers. The delivery people had to work really hard to get my item into my small place but they managed it. I couldn't ask for more from a supplier.

Lori and Meagan were very helpful. This location is fantastic with lots of options to choose from. We went to 5 of their competitor and the selection, comfort and delivery time didn’t compare. Because we do have a special order it’s going to take about 2 months. Other places said anywhere from 4 to 6 months possibly 8 months. And the price tag was about the same. LazyBoy is the place to go.

Don’t pay for the warranty package. I believe it was about $300 and when I wanted to use it is in the correct time. Regarding even just a small seam of the cushion that was unraveling. The warranty company they sent me to (didn’t know it was a 3rd party) that provides the service told me that they couldn’t honor it because when they ask me when it happened I reported it about 6 months later when it happened. Why did I wait so long to report it? Well Because my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer, just shortly after purchasing the couch. Going through treatment and planning a funeral at the time and calling a couch company for a repair was LAST on my list! Thanks for nothing! Our friends got the same couch and the seams came out as well like ours. Disappointed with the lack of help on this.

The staff was so kind and friendly! Beth explained everything to us when we walked in for a nursing chair, and then let us go off on our own to browse, with no pressure at all. We actually ended up getting a coffee table AS WELL! Again, everyone was kind, and didn't hover or pressure into anything. They gave us a great deal, and we will 100% be back to probably purchase a couch in the near future.

The sales experience at La-Z-Boy was excellent. Nirmali was very helpful, transparent about the timeline that might occur with custom furniture and communicative about the delivery dates. It would have been helpful to know that fabric samples could be ordered through the website (I only found this out after the third time I paid a deposit to borrow them to check paint colours in the space). Although I am very happy with the furniture, walls were damaged by the delivery personnel (the customer has to sign off that they are aware that this might occur) and although the delivery lead signed off that everything was in good condition upon arrival, one of the legs on our couch has some damage, it was pointed out, and we were told to simply remove the leg ourselves and bring it in to the store for replacement. This is not the resolution I would have expected.

We recently bought a new sofa from La-Z-Boy in Burlington and we had the pleasure of being assisted by Leslie Edridge. She was very cheerful and helpful with us, as we navigated through all the options available to us. Sadly, when our new sofa arrived, it fell somewhat short of our expectations. Again, Leslie was very forthcoming about the snafu and worked diligently to ensure we get what we wanted. She even ensured that we keep the ‘mistake’ couch until our new one gets delivered! Thank you for your great customer service Leslie!

We choose La-Z Boy for most of our furniture. We went looking for a side table this past weekend and brought our young girls and the staff were simply amazing with them and us. Shout out to Gina who took our oldest under her wing and offered her colouring so we could shop. We highly recommend this location for fantastic service and great quality furniture.

Our sales rep, Lana, was amazing from start to finish. As we had no idea what we wanted she patiently walked us through all the possibilities. Once we made our selections, she connected us with their in house interior designer, Tracy, who helped us co-ordinate all our furnishings, including arrangement of the furniture right down to the wall paint. We made several visits to the store to also add cushions, tables, lamps etc.and each time the ladies were extremely welcoming and helpful with all our inquiries. These ladies make a wonderful team and I would highly recommend them. Needless to say, we are thrilled with our new family room, which is the center of all our family gatherings.

I had a very positive experience with La-Z-Boy Home Furnishings, in Burlington, Ontario. The customer representative, Arlene, was extremely helpful without being overbearing. At no time did I feel pressured, as I had at another furniture store, but rather she gave me many choices (within the parameters that I wanted) and the time and space to make a decision. We are extremely happy with the chairs that we purchased and would definitely recommend this store to others.

I purchased a remote recliner last year. This chair
was on sale and the price with tax and delivery was
over 2,000.00. This chair is the most uncomfortable
chair regardless of position. It is way too hard on the
seating portion and back and regardless of position
in spite of all the configurations I cannot get comfortable.
A total waste of money. The model is Aster Power Wall
Recliner. My opinion is these Lazy Boy adjustable chairs
are way over priced and mine is a typical case of buyers remorse. A friend of mine bought a manual adjustable
recliner for less than half the price and his chair is in my
opiiion 10x more comfortable than this overpriced unit.

Great customer service! We made a purchase with Lazyboy Burlington back in Jan and wanted to make a point to share our experience. We came in with an issue that needed to be resolved with our original purchase and the staff at the store went over and above to help us. After the manager sat with us and provided authorization to proceed with an exchange, the sales associate patiently helped us look through multiple couches and recliners until we found the pieces that were just right for us. I was heavily pregnant at the time and appreciated being allowed the time to think through this decision without being rushed. The designer then helped us in between appointment (something she did not have to do) to ensure that all pieces would fit perfectly in our space. I really cannot say enough about how great the staff is at this location. Also the furniture quality at Lazyboy is the best! These pieces will last us years and years. I would highly recommend shopping at this location.

Not impressed with the quality and customer service. Bought a fabric sofa and after 1 1/2 years the fabric is worn out. We did buy the extended warranty and found out deterioration of material components is not covered.what a waste of money. I will never shop there again. Definitely not worth the money.

Buyer beware la-z-boy does not stand behind their so called “quality name”. This was the main reason why we purchased from la-z-boy we knew we would pay more than we would if purchased at another furniture store but we wanted furniture that would last and we thought we were paying for quality we haven’t even Owned the sofa a year and the foam in the seat and back cushions have shifted and are no longer full. They responded and said it was normal wear and tear and the seat cushions need to be rotated. Yes that is just common sense and we do that weekly the sofa isn’t a year old this is not normal wear and tear. I will never purchase from la-z-boy again and will advise friend and family against it other furniture store stand behind there product and they are much more reasonably priced.

The purpose of this post is strictly to convey just how impressed I am with the level of customer service I consistently receive from Rosemary at the Burlington store.

I first bought a love seat, recliner, coffee table, dining room table with 4 chairs, a small carpet and a buffet a little over 8 years ago. I am currently looking for another recliner and the first place I went to was Lazy Boy, primarily because of the service I received from Rosemary (kept her business card) at the time of my original purchase.

Today, I dropped in unannounced to have a second look at your chairs and Rosemary remembered me and remembered the exact chair I had favoured over the others on display when I was in over 2 months ago.

Now retired, I did hold various upper level management positions in the retail industry for 25 years and followed that up with 25 years experience in property management as the General Manager of various enclosed shopping centres. As such, I believe that I do have a professional understanding of what good customer service should look like. I can honestly say that even with my high standards, Rosemary far exceeded my expectations.

I sincerely hope that Lazy Boy acknowledges the outstanding customer service Rosemary consistently provides to her customers. She certainly deserves the recognition.

Fantastic customer service. I have a recliner that is at least 20 years old. Two springs finally broke and I did not want to buy a new chair and give up my old friend, a gift from my wife. I called Customer Care and then exchanged a number of emails with Stephanie. She was fantastic and very fast. She got the springs delivered to my house for free and hooked me up with an excellent repair man Brad who came to my house and fixed the chair on the spot. I am very impressed and will stick with La-Z- Boy forever.

So comfy!

Sales associate was great! Nirmali, I believe. She showed all the features and walked us through different styles of recliners. Store is pretty big, with a ton of furniture to see in the showroom. Pricing is fair, with a number of items on sale, it took the sting out of buying quality furniture.

I looked at a number of chairs on-line, but with something like furniture, you really need to try it out. Hard part was actually selecting only one! So many to choose from. And the options, from powered to rocking, to leather and fabric! A great deal to consider.

Easy to get to, lot of parking out front and along the side of the building. We are currently waiting to have our chairs delivered! Very exciting!

Had an unexpectedly awesome experience shopping with my wife for a comfortable chair for her. Great sale prices and amazing selection. Honestly could have been in there for hours just checking out all the cool stuff. Yes I know it can be pricey but there are great deals too, (remember, these things will last forever, think Honda or Toyota)! Anyways, a huge shout out to Nirmali Danielius for helping us and being so patient, and understanding, and fun! We have rarely met anyone so knowledgeable and pleasant. Very refreshing. Ask for her. She's great! And she only just started working there. Boy were we lucky! Oh yeah, we bought a chair, great deal, super comfy, also another chair from the clearance section (check that area!) and a loveseat hide-a-bed. All super comfortable, man sofa beds are done right here! Wife happy, me happy. And they deliver! Anyways thanks again Nirmali, you rock! And the store is pretty freakin' great too!

Not impressed with the quality and customer service. Bought a leather recliner and after 1 1/2 years the leather is worn on the arm of the recliner. Because we did not buy the extended warranty Lay Z Boy won't do a thing. I will never shop there again. If your a wise shopper you will stay away from this place. Definitely not worth the money.

The 5 star review I am giving is for the store manager, Brenda who kept me informed and Seema on reception who was always very polite and helped as much she could.
Here’s why.
There were major delays with my furniture beyond the additional time factored in due to Covid and
I was not getting explanations or answers regarding these delays from the original sales person. So, extremely frustrated I contacted the store and asked for the manager.
The delays were beyond the stores control but after speaking with Brenda she kept me updated on the progress of my order on a regular basis. Eventually I received both my chair and my sofa and I am very pleased with them.
Hopefully when Covid 19 is not slowing everything down La- Z-Boy can return to a more reasonable manufacturing and delivery time line because almost 8 months is way too long.
I would recommend the Burlington La-Z- Boy location.

I came to the Burlington location today and was able to immediately speak to the manager Brenda about concerns with newly purchased furniture. I wanted to make some changes and luckily I was within the right time frame and within policy for this to happen. I received excellent customer service and understanding of my situation. I was accommodated with the best possible outcome. The furniture is beyond comfortable and beautiful and worth checking out before buying elsewhere.

We bought two a leather recliners and after 4 months of usage one of them has lost its colour on the headrest. We emailed customer service and received a generic email saying it was caused by medications and body oils and to put it politely tough luck it's not there problem. They can send someone to come out and fix it at our expense. We also did some research and this is a big problem with the type of dyeing method they use. Our last leather couch we had for 15yrs and not a problem it wasn't from Lazyboy. We would never reccomend Lazyboy leather furniture to anyone.

We recently purchased a number of furnishings from LazyBoy including a leather recliner, Hammary round nesting tables and a beautiful area rug. The manager Brenda Tompkins and her team of sales people gave us exceptional service and were especially accommodating during the Covid restrictions. One of the tables delivered had some odd discolored markings - Brenda was happy to have it exchanged for us. I would highly recommend LazyBoy Burlington - their customer service is top notch. The Burlington showroom has a large collection of home furnishings - all exceptional made and with great warranties. They also provide a complementary design service for their customers that was very helpful - allowed us to view a room plan and rendering of LazyBoy furniture in our living space. Thanks again Brenda, and sales consultants Justin Pilon and Lori Montmorency.

HORRIBLE QUALITY AT RIDICULOUS PRICES and THEY DONT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS
We purchased 2 new electric reclining sofas, 5 reclining side chairs, 5 tables (coffee, side, sofa), 2 area rugs and a large ottoman. The sofas are piling, the rugs are losing fibres even from light vacuuming. Contacted Lazy Boy and were told TOO BAD. We will never buy their products again, stay away!

Have had many sales experiences with furniture in the past. Not hard to see the difference between ashleys or leons and la z boys. Staff super friendly and not pushy like the other 2 mentioned above. I wanted to replace my living room sofa, love seat and coffee tables and have furniture that was better suited size wise to the space I live in. Due to Covid, I did a lot of the leg work online initially. From my first contact with Brenda Tompkins, Store Manager at the Burlington, ON store, via email, the service provided could not have been any better. She connected me with their interior designer, Tracy and with Carol Houzon, Sales Consultant and set up an instore appointment for me to meet with them. Both Tracy and Carol were excellent and I was extremely pleased with the pieces suggested for me and the care they took to be sure I was well informed. It was such a great and stress-free experience from start to finish. Thank you all so much!

Bought furniture back in September, 2018. It took about 3 months and 10+ visits before we finally settled on what we wanted. When you spend a few thousand on furniture.you want to minimize buyers remorse. Over the course of our visits, our sales associate Arlene was gracious, helpful and appreciative that we took our time to make sure we were satisfied with our purchase and service.

My wife and I were 100% satisfied with our pre-delivery experience at LazyBoy Burlington. Julie was a true sales professional in working with us on our seating choices. She was very patient, informative, friendly and fun to work with. Tracy provided our in house design collaboration and we were blown away by the choices and options presented to us to reinvent our family room. The technology with a 3D rendering of the room was very helpful to review options and ultimately settle on our final choices. We are looking forward to the delivery and setup and enjoying our new room. We would highly recommend considering LazyBoy Burlington to anyone looking to get the most out of their home/furniture shopping experience.
