This place has customers that will continue to visit this place, this post isn’t for them. This post is for the owners. As a person who wasn’t familiar with the menu, I was asking what was in some of the waffles offered. I have since found out it was the owner who assisted in taking my order and answered questions I had. I asked for a smoothie and the lady told me they were juices and listed them out for me. They ended up putting pistachio in my drink. I asked them if it was mine and they said yes and I stated that I didn’t want that I thought it would only be mangos. The response was you should have told us before, but we established I didn’t know the menu. I ended up keeping it because I didn’t want to waste food. This should have been told to me when I required about smoothie. They asked which ice cream I would like for my waffle I said raspberry vanilla, she went on to scoop just raspberry, I told her sorry I said raspberry vanilla, this time she said I thought you only said raspberry. It was an awful experience especially considering she was giving samples and amazing customer service to the person who was behind me. I wanted to support this place as it is a Muslim establishment. Despite being a visible Muslim woman, I was not treated in a way that was respectful or customer service like. Will never go back and share my experience with my friends and family.

Great service and exceptional desserts! My favourite is the mango smoothie and the ashta fruite plate!

Cashier LICKED the ashta with her finger and touched my drink. I was disgusted she did it to both of my drinks. Not only that but the staff just laughs and talks and doesn’t serve customers until 10-15 mins

It was a very hot day and I feel like having a nice mango and papaya juice! So I decided to visit this place since was just beside the place I was doing some grocery shopping. All I can say is, didn’t made the best decision going to this place! Starting with the terrible customer service from the lady that was at that time it was around 4: 00pm all I asked was I’d like to have a mango and papaya juice that’s all, from the “fresh fruit” you have in the bar fruits. It clearly she didn’t understand my simple order and made a total different juice called tutti frutti. I only wanted those 2 fruits but she made a version super sweet with more fruits. Which I was not satisfied about it. I said to her this is not what I asked and she was insisting this is what you asked for in a impolite and rude way.at the end I said I do not want this juice and she said ok l, I had to go to my vehicle to put my bags and then I came back for the refund which at the end I didn’t get it because she offer me the juice saying was the right one, which was not! I ended up having the super sweet juice that I could only have half of it, feeling so disappointed for that terrible service. My whole experience was unpleasant, not visiting this place again.

Good food, service, needs to make sure that fruits are fresh. Competitors have better to offer, check juice dudez

La Bocca has delicious food (especially their Ashta and fruit drinks)! My family and friends repeatedly come back to this spot for dessert. On top of their delicious food, they have amazing customer service and are so inviting! 5-star all the way:)

Love this place! I've been coming here for years and they never disappoint. The drinks and the food are on point and the fruits are always fresh. Definitely worth multiple visits weekly.

I love this place. Definitely the best in Ottawa. I've been a customer for over 10 years and many to come. The staff are welcoming and nice, they gave us a sample Sahlab today and it was so good. I highly recommend.

A hidden gem! Been there couple of times and ordered it through ubereats and the juice is always fresh and tasty! Also love the Sahaleb idea! Definitely will come again!

Best place in Ottawa to get some sweets. Amazing customer service, every time I come in there’s always a smile on the workers faces and a smile on mine after I have their amazing smoothie.

The service is amazing and they are always so kind putting love in what they make. The Jamaica is my favourite on the menu, they make it just right each time. Best place in Ottawa hands down.

Friendly respectful and helpful staff.
Convenient location however parking can be full and tight at times. The menu is nice with many classics and it’s always great. Definitely worth the trip if you’re in the area.

Avocado wasn't fresh
Honey was really thick and you can can feel the sugar crunch
Ice cream was good
The fruit salad was good as well
But definitely avocado wasn't and taste banana or milk more than the avocado taste

Their ashta (milk cream based) desserts are all fantastic!

My favorite drink that I've been having is the avocado power. It's avocado base, with sliced banana, ashta cream, honey and crushed pistachio. My favorite dessert!

This place used to be amazing. I’ve recently re visited post Covid and their prices have gone way up (somewhat understandable due to Covid) but they’ve also become very frugal with their portion sizes and toppings. I ordered the strawberry ashta and they put 2 strawberries in it cut in half! The ashta itself tasted stale too. It’s too bad because this place and their ashta used to be great: (won’t be visiting again

Great dessert place that's been serving Ottawa for quite some time. I really like the juices they offer. The avocado smoothie is by far my favourite. A lot of the other stuff is a little too sweet for my liking.

We had cheese crepe and chocolate waffle and both were really good. The lady who served us was nice and let me taste the cheese before ordering to makes sure it is not salty for me. Will definitely go back

Worst customer service ever. I waited for more than 15 minutes to place my order. Then I waited for another 10 mins. I never got what I ordered as I asked for three large drinks. When I told the guy about it, he said, “ I charged you for this, ” and didn’t want to make me large drinks.

When I went to there the wife of the owner was so rude to me. She was making my food and she was doing a bad job and in a nice way I asked if she can remake it but Instead she yelled at me and told me that I should leave! I have been here before and the lady that was here before was way nicer. She always took care of me and made sure that I was satisfied with my order. Never going back again!

I was there yesterday and the customer service was really bad! The lady working I’m guessing it’s the owner or the wife was very rude to me and everyone there! Not going bad again!

Customer service is REALLY POOR. Lack of manners and kindness.
They didn't have all the ice cream flavors we were looking for.so this visit was really disappointing.

The man working here (whom I assume is also the owner) is rude asking him politely to give me a takeout box. He threw it and asked me to place the food on the table (I was close to the cashier) very rudely. I was shocked. I think that the woman who works here and her daughter (I believe) are usually much more friendly and easier to approach as compared to him. I’ve been coming here for the past decade but it is a BIG X now.

One person is handling the cash register, taking orders and preparing the drinks/deserts all at the same time. No hand washing after handling cash. No ordering etiquette as the person after me ordered the same drink and got their order before me and kept asking for extra stuff on his drink and napkins from the only person working while I was in a rush to leave. It looks like the employee needs some help and it's stressing him out but it's not up to him I guess as it's more profitable this way.

The dude making the food isn’t wearing a mask and allowing more then the posted 5 people on the door. So we’re here with 9 people (+3 kids) inside and no one seems to care about any regulations.

Awesome dessert crepes waffle and Gelato place. So tasty and fun and jolly. Gotta try the Ashta or Ashta Gelato!?

Customer service is terrible, all employees in this store are racist. We went two times to order we waited 10 minutes and they did not even look at us and no customers were in the store waiting, then we left. We will never go to this place again. 0 stars they don't deserve to have any star. Racist people and Racist store.

They ask u to where a mask and get mad at u if your nose is not covered.and one of the guys there always with no mask I made a complaint with the city of Ottawa

Amazing and unique menu. The avocado shake was excellent as was the Love Boat. I'll be back every week and if covid shuts you down, I'm breaking in.lol

One of the few places where you can find fruit cocktails and crepes. They have a good variety the prices are a bit on the high end the service was good. The ice cream is good and they have many flavors. It is nice to have this option in Ottawa. If you want to try I récolement the avocado power and the ice cream. These are my favorites.

Love their service, food and decent portions. Their crepes are AHMAZING and the fruit used seems fresh.

Absolutely great food and smoothies. Everything is always fresh and made in front of you. Not always fast with their service but that's mostly because there's only one person working at a time. The crepes are topped with homemade Aashta (whipped cream). The restaurant is clean and well maintained:)

Ashta “Lebanese ice cream” wasn’t stretchy how it’s supposed to be. Tastes like regular vanilla ice cream with orange blossom and pistachio mixed in. Wouldn’t go here expecting arab style ice cream.

I went with 3 other friends to get their  famous avocado drink. When they were made, the usual colour is green, this one had a black and yellow colour to it. I didn’t say anything, I tasted the drink, there was a sour taste, I tried my friends drinks as well, and they were all the same. I went to the person that was helping me and told them that this avocado drink should not taste like this since I have drank this drink before multiple times. The person that helped me said that it should taste like this. Clearly the avocado was bad, this was the first time that this tastes like this. They did not want to replace them. So I left unsatisfied. I don’t recommend this place.

Fresh juice, yummy ice cream variety and great crapes! A little pricy and staff could be a liitle more friendly.

The menu and quality of food is good but its on the expensive side and the service isn't always good.

The place is a great place to go for a treat or when your feeling like something sweet but I find that they are always so packed and it's hard to find anywhere to sit. Other then that the place is great

I always get the turbo smoothie- it’s a hit and miss. Some days it’s nice and cold, others it’s kind of warm? Still tasty but not consistent.

Generally bad customer service, but once i saw the owner (the old grumpy man who never smiles) be rude to an older lady just coz she gave him feedback! And thats what made me write this review

Majority of the time, it’s good. Every once in awhile they do burn the crepes (as you could see in the picture here - the difference between the 2) or the avocado shakes are warm, and the ashta sometimes different in texture. The mature woman who works here and her son and daughter (I believe) are usually much more friendly and easier to approach as compared to the man who works every so often (whom I assume is also the owner). I’ve been coming here for the past decade and it’s really a hit or miss - they do have their days.

Horrible customer service, extremely overpriced, dirty store and rude owner, do I need to say more? Go to Adonis and they have a section in there that sells everything they do, it's actually fresh fraction of the cost and they are not rude to you!

Excellent service and friendly staff. Very good selection of juices and fruits fresh most of the time. Crepes and other desserts are very good. Prices are reasonable. Not many places like this in Ottawa.

Desserts are good and they have a lot of options, but they can work harder on their customer service.

La bocca is so consistent and delicious. In addition the fruits are always fresh, clean and trusted.
There is no place like labocca in Ottawa, therefore it is a bit pricey. I think it’s totally worth going there. If you would like to take your friends, family or partner to a nice place, you should consider going there. Try they’re ashta it’s delicious.

Great experience here. It wasn't very busy when I went. The server was friendly and let me get what I wanted even though I was missing 0.25¢. The food was delicious and looked amazing.

Horrible customer service racist store owner!

Went in there with my girlfriend and my grandma as soon as we stepped food in the owner had strange looks towards us.as I’m
Choosing my order I was also ordering for someone else so I took a photo of one of the dishes they had on the menu then seconds later the owner comes barging out her office telling me she was watching me on the security camera and I’m not allowed taking photos she said this in an extremely rude manner spoke to us as if we were peasants then went back behind the counter and kept watching us as we ordered once we ordered our food it took an extremely long time to make two simple dishes they were all given in Seperate times while giving ordered to customers that ordered after us before we got ours they then forgot to add icing sugar on a order so I went to ask politely if they can add it but they just started at me in a rude way asking what in the world I’m talking about so I showed them on the menu the dish had icing sugar on it then they went “ugh k” threw it all over and gave the dish back.long story short never going back this is also not the first time having a bad experience at the store

I am overly confident that they can do better. Ashta, Avocado and other drinks I ordered can be worked on definitely.

The size of smoothie on their display and their "meduim" size cup looks nothing like the displayed item I asked the lady is that a small she said unkindly "have u been here before? " "This is our medium" and cheap with their extra ashta when asked. Great place to eat and drink socially but not the best customer service and food/smoothies for the price your pay.

It would kill these guys to smile. Drinks are mediocre. Service is 1 star. The young guy with the beard always sad never happy. Try to cheer up when I’n the service business

My favorite desert place in Ottawa hands down. Their crepes are just perfect, specially with the combination of fresh fruits and delicious ice cream. They also serve this desert called ashta ashta, which is the same consistency as cottage cheese and serve it with honey (fantastic combination). I cannot say about how fresh their fruits are. They do not use canned fruits even during the winter which is a great plus. They are unfortunately quite a drive from Kanata / the west end so hoping they open another branch to the west end of the city!
