The food at this restaurant is very delicious and reasonably priced. Especially the goat hot pot dish my family really likes. We will come back here often to enjoy Asian dishes.
We had dinner on a Thursday night around 8: 30 and were seated immediately. We had a $15.95 large P7 beef satay pho and $14.50 regular P1 house special pho. The noodles and broth were good, but there wasn't as much meat as expected, and the beef was tough in the P7. They gave a lot of bean sprouts and mint though. Overall, the pho didn't stand out from other vietnamese restaurants we've been to. No complaints about the service or atmosphere.
Service was fantastic, attentive and quick. We got pork and veggie spring rolls, chicken vermicelli and rare beef pho and all were so delicious. Portion sizes were great and pricing was reasonable. We would totally come back!
Me and some coworkers come here at least once a week because of its convenience and good food! The pho and vermicelli are both my go to picks. The menu is very diverse which is great but also becomes one of the downsides because some meals take a long time to make and you will be the last at the table being served
We took a takeout at 1 o'clock but surprisingly very busy at that time but the food got ready super fast and it was really diffrent I never had Vietnamese food befor and I really liked it. The pho was excellent and the extra large pho that I took was super large. All in all perfect place and can't wait for dine in
Food was good, service was actually really good. I like the portions and the speediness - this is a GREAT alternative to pho anh vu, where they take too long and are not attentive but also charging way more than the average pho place.
Ordered with uber eats. Ordered the stir fried egg noodles with protein. I ordered it with meat. They BARELY put the meat. It was just plain noodles. Also took 2 hours for the order to arrive. Never ordering again
Worse restaurant, seafood was not fresh, calamari was spoiled and had bad smell, waitress refused to exchange it. Small portions and not testy. Bad customer service, not speaking properly English and not friendly. We will not come back to this place ever.
I ordered from here off UberEats. I am impressed with the portion size of the pho. They definitely put the most beef in the pho out of all the Vietnamese restaurants I tried.
Loved the food! Had their rare beef chicken pho (which they made extra spicy on request, and was done nicely), stir fried beef with ginger and onion, and cream cheese wontons. All were fantastic! Very convenient location as well with good parking capacity.
Good food, better than most Viet places in the area. Service was quick, food was fresh and tasty. Ample parking and indoor seating. Clean washrooms. Price is fair.
The best pho in the city. Excellent menu, (pad thai is great, fresh rolls and mango chicken salad were perfect). Excellent spices. Something for everyone. Fast delivery, Reasonable prices, great portions. You won't be disappointed.
Great flavour, reasonable pricing, and the Pho came out instantly but the speed did not compromise the quality. It got busy really quickly during dinner time.
A small but beautiful eating place with covid protocols in place. The food is quite delicious and the portions are filling. Reasonable priced too. Great service by all staff and the indoor eating area is actually quite open for good ventilation. There is also an outdoor eating patio with umbrellas for those hot days.
Big portion one size pho definitely enough to fill the average person up. Good quality pho too. Has a patio. Tofu side dish was good. Music wasn't working but that wasn't really an issue. Fantastic smoothies too
Very affordable restaurant, with delicious food and nice staff. I've been there a few times before and after the pandemic and the good quality remained the same.
Placed a pickup order from a food delivery/pickup app, and they started making food 20mins after the expected pickup time. Received the food with 40mins delay. Food doesnt matter at this point with this type of service.
If you expect authentic viet, try Pho ahn vu. Pho ahn vu has Cha gio instead of chienese/thai style spring rolls and they also have amazing broken rice. I've been to vietnam years ago exploring whole country for months and so far pho ahn vu is the closet viet food I can find in North York area. Lac Vien even had chinese dishes on menu in Chinese words.weird. I don't know if I should call this restaurant Vietnamese. Taste here was below average (like local chinese restaurant cooked by manufactured sauce). It was more like vietnamese restaurant owned+cooked by chinese such as Pho 89. Service was too slow. If you don't care about who cooks what and just want to try some asian food, then Lac Vien wouldn't be that bad. Price range was reasonable. For me, I would never go again.
I ordered Tom Yum soup with chicken and Pineapple fried rice. Tom Yum soup tasted like something from broth picked up from grocery store, and Pineapple fried rice was pretty bland. It wasn't terrible but not sure if it was worth above 3 stars.
Terrible experience, Mixed up my order with a wrong one. The lady who took the order said that I was ordering different thing. After all she asked me to pay extra as well for her mistake. Never coming here again, and will advise my friends to eat elsewhere.
The rare beef for their pho is inedible. Not sure if they changed their beef supplier but it definitely doesn't taste like it used to. The thin sliced meat is almost white in colour and very chewy. Was not happy at all with my meal and I'm a regular here and generally am very pleased with their food and portions. Will not be returning here.
I always get the same thing, though everything else my friends try always looks delicious! I recommend the veggie pad thai, and the fresh cold veggie spring rolls. Take out is super easy, and dine-in is great too. Highly recommend!
The food was delicious. The service was fine. The atmosphere was confusing as they were playing country music on full blast and repeat. It honestly was not pleasant at all, I hope it was just a one off incident as I would like to come back but nervous to have that in the background.
Broth is more flavourful than most pho joints, fresh rolls were wonderful, also had a Jack fruit Milkshake with tapioca bobas. All delicious. Friendly staff. I left very full, and quite fat.
We always ends up here on the way back from Yorkdale Mall.the comfort food that never failed, especially on a cold or rainy days.
The Phõ broth is light but very tasty, the meatballs were superb - hard but crunchy, the bbq pork and chicken was marinated properly that it was so tender and doesn't have any smelly when eating it.
This place is quite big, has a lot of seating area. And most importantly kids friendly!
Seems like chinese/viet fusion here, at least for some dishes. The food was ok, but I ordered one vegetarian spring roll and one meat spring roll. When it arrived, I asked them whether it was veggie or not. Seemed like no one had a clue. And they all left saying they “will check up on it” but they awkwardly came back to our area to serve other customers and didn’t follow up with us. When we asked again, they said to bite into it first to check.after we did that, it was hard to differentiate, even for the servers.
I liked the fried tofu though! I might be back but really had a tough time dealing with the spring roll situation.
They are looking after the quality of the food ingredient, The small Pho that was ordered had enough rare beef and the taste was very close to authentic
Really nice lunch, friendly staff, clean and quite affordable. I've driven by this place many times over the years while shopping for lights and drapes without stopping in. I should have come sooner.
The food is always delicious. Today we brought our baby and toddler and I was a little stressed out. The staff were amazing. They brought extra small bowls and spoons and a pair of scissors to cut everything up without us asking for them. The baby's chair and floor were a mess with noodles and they stopped us from trying to clean it up and told us it was fine. They made eating out with a toddler and baby much less stressful.
Starving in the Design District of Toronto and in need of a little Vietnamese had us end up at LAC Vien. The place is massive! Goes on from room to room. A simple place with friendly service and good food. It truly isn’t only Vietnamese. There is loads of all kinds of Asian dishes from China and Thailand too. They do a massive take out business as well. Everything we ate was very fresh and full of good flavours. I would totally head back. Could not tell if the food was good or bad because I was sweating so much. My family which has 3 small children was seated in the room around the side just after the washroom. The AC did not reach that room, there was no fan to circulate the air and the pull down sun screen did absolutely nothing. The large windows felt like a magnifying glass. It was actually cooler outside than in that area, I finished half my meal and packed the rest to go.
Our favourite Vietnamese place for the past 2 years, tried almost everything there. Absolutely in love with their Pho and other soups, and also crispy noodles. Worth trying!
