On Instagram, Lafayette has several authentic cosigned luxurious designer items. I have been eyeing the small Gucci bucket bag from the retailer but came across it on their IG. They were very communicative throughout the process and sent photos of the bag from different angles. Once I confirmed that I wanted it, I e-transferred the money, and they provided a tracking code; the bag arrived four days later. The bag was in immaculate condition, and I am delighted with my purchase.

I rarely write reviews unless it's really disastrous or really amazing. This one falls under the former category. I would not give any star if the reviewing system allowed.
I consigned 3 purses with Lafayette in November 2021 for a period of 90 days. Three days prior to the agreement expiry date (mid February 2022) I sent them a text message checking the status of the consignment - whether they are sold or not; and that if not i would like to set up an appointment to pick up the purses. No response from the store. Over the following 2 weeks, I have called the shop, no one ever picked up the phone. Left 2 voice messages, and sent them an email. Again, no response from the store. Last week, I decided to just pop in the store just to see what's going on. Store wasn't opened. I could see through the glass that the store was not well-organized - paper bags & boxes left everywhere. I was concerned as this is not a high-end consignment store should look like. I went to the onsite Property Manager to see if they are still in business, and explained my situation. The Property Manager told me to send her an email about my story, and then she could forward it to the store and see if they will respond. She also told me that if I didn't hear from them after that email, I can call the police if I want to. Surprisingly, I got a call from a gentleman of the store that night and apologized for not responding earlier, and booked an appointment for me to come in and get my purses back the next day.
When I went in the following day, the girl blamed everything on COVID - saying the store is not opened everyday during the pandemic. I get it. But without the store being opened physically, staff should still be able to respond to text messages, voice messages, and emails. And then, she explained that they communicate with customers with Instagram & WeChat only, and that's the reason my text messages are not addressed. Really? The very first time I inquired about consigning with them, Lulu (one of the staff) told me on the phone to send pictures of the purses through text messages. After exchanging my grievances and her excuses, the girl finally told me that 2 of my purses were sold the week before, and would give me cash for that. I said I preferred e-transfer as I didn't want to touch the cash. She said that e-transfer would take a long time because they have not received the money from the customers who bought them. That sounds weird! Purses were sold, but the store did not receive the money!? I found that very fishy, and took the cash reluctantly as I didn't want to deal with that nonsense situation.
From my experience, I would not recommend anyone to consign with this store as they are not proactive, and not efficient in customer services.

I passed by this store one day when I visited my friend’s condo. I’m surprised to find many different variety of items being sold here including a lot of designer purses. I decided to buy something for my wife and the service from the staff was great and very informative with all my inquires. I bought a Hermes necklace and a Chanel wallet and was very happy that the price of the necklace was half the price of retail! I returned home with a happy wallet and a happy wife:). Definitely will come back for future purchases and definitely will refer this store to my friends.

Placed an order through instagram. Arranged a time to pick up the bag. When I arrived the gentleman was unable to find the bag I already paid for. He looked for 30 minutes without finding it. The store looked worse than a garage sale. Bags were packed into Rubbermaid Bins squished on-top of each other. Multiple bags (not in dust bags) crammed into boxes and ripped bags. Nothing was organized or taken care of. I was horrified that a business would keep luxury bags stored in that way.
I was told they would ship my bag after 30 mins of searching for it however by the way all of the handbags were stored I knew the condition of the bag would absolutely not be the same as the photo. I had to cancel my EMT and had to pay a fee for this. The person who I was communicating with on Instagram never messaged me to apologize. I would never ever advise anyone to consign or shop with this business.

I’d caution anyone who’s interested in consigning with them. They promote themselves as not charging extra for consigning but what it really means is that you will only get 30-35% of the actual selling price. They won’t let you know how much they will sell it for on IG and only quote an insanely low price for you. I have consigned at other stores before and the industry average is 50-70%. The selling period is also super long - you have to agree to leave your stuff with them for three months! I will not come back to sell anything anymore.

I recently dealt with Lafayette Luxury Consignment to purchase an authentic Chanel bag. The service was outstanding that I received and I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from them again. Overall this was an excellent experience from start to finish. Thank you!

Of all the consignment companies/seller, Lafayette is the best. I never bought something or anything from them, but she would always entertain me nicely, answer questions nicely and properly. Unlike any other consignment companies/seller, when you ask them and you didn’t buy the item, they will be so salty and will never entertain you again.
Also Lafayette’s pricing is superb! I really recommend this place/person ️
