I ordered a “cookie” cake for my daughter’s bday. She doesn’t like traditional cake so one of the bakers suggested two large cookies sandwiched with icing. It was a hit, everyone loved it! Thank you!

Excellent service right from call to place order with Dominic to pick-up with the help loading it in my vehicle!
Excellent Food! Guests were very delighted with the food and so were we.
The chicken parmigiana, Meat Lasagna, their penne in their own tomato sauce was cooked to perfection every pasta was evenly cooled. Their roasted potatoes and veggies were great sides. We will be ordering catering again from Lago Bakery!

Italian style market. Some stuff we can find in supermarket but it’s slightly expensive here. Plenty of bread to choose in the basket.

Coffee space is simple, nothing fancy.

We ordered catering for 10-15 people Italian Sandwiches.

I was having some issues with my car on the road and needed a phone charge also. It’s said everything in life happens for reasons sometimes you just can’t see the picture yet. As for today though I only had stepped in at first on the coldest day so far this year to ask to charge my phone while I waited for a tow. That was “out of the question” everywhere else but the owner/gentleman at this bakery named Domenic said. “It’s out of the question for me to have you leave without a couple espressos and a veal sandwich as well. ” He is a person who understands a business and insisted I warm up and have a meal. This is why I would guess this bakery has such a history here. -35 with the windchill is cold but I’d recommend anyone else to warm up with these warm people and come grab lunch here. A friendly and empathetic person. I will be back again. Thanks Dom.

Ordered traditional Italian cake here, seemed a different variation from what I typically get at different bakeries but not in a bad way, very tasty and the recipient enjoyed it

Staff was courteous here and the coffee is excellent.

We love this place.
They have great Italian products that remind us of our trip to Italy.

You’re missing out if you haven’t dropped into this cute, little hidden Italian gem! I went in this morning for the very first time (I dont know how I’ve missed this place for so long), and grabbed a few pastries, for a friend's gathering, which were so fresh and absolutely delicious! Highly recommend the almond croissant! SO good! The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very attentive! Can’t wait to go back to try out their other goodies like their hot table items, and their cannoli’s. See you soon Lago!

Not fresh confectioneries!
I purchased a pastry which the staff told me it is freshly made in house, but it was was not fresh at all.
After my first message, I got a message from the Bakery that what I expected!? !?
I just expected a fresh pastry, not a special expectations.

My daughters birthday cake and deserts were so beautiful and delicious! Big Thanks to Antoinette for helping us make the day so special!:)

Interesting Italian bakery/cafe/store. Lots for Italian products with reasonable price. Nice cafe, pastry and gelato.

I’m sorry for the bad review but I got some different buns and various of desserts and everything was so mediocre or bad

The best bakery in GTA - I love the bread, goodies at the hot table and the sweets! Great owners always make me feel at home. Service is outstanding ️️️

I really wanted to like this place, 1st impressions were amazing.then sadly it went downhill from there. I had a nice browse picked out some tasty breads and opted for a sausage sandwich.requesting the sweet and mentioned that I can't do hot anymore.the lady serving asked if I wanted onions peppers and mushrooms, to which I said yes.not knowing it was an extra dollar if you got more than two. I also did mention that this was my first time there.anyways that was annoying, just be upfront. The worst part came while eating the sandwich.the peppers were so hot I could barely breath and somehow I had touched my eye which resulted in me pouring a bottle of water into my eye.which obviously left me soaked. So to sum it up.neat place, but lack of attention from staff completely ruined my experience and almost caused a car crash. I highly doubt I will give them a second chance.

Nice bakery. Bread is fresh. Especially their olive bread. I don't have an Italian bakery in my area so I always stop after work to pick up some buns or pizza dough and an espresso for the drive home

Nice place with friendly staff delicious hot meals and a good variety of bread and other pastries and deli sandwiches.

I personally love the food from this bakery. I have been here multiple times and enjoy eating here every-time I go. The staff at this place is great and I encourage all of you to support this bakery through these tough times.

Great bread and desserts but only a 1 star for now
Not a single staff member wore their masks properly. At least 7-8 staff had their drippy noses hanging out, might as well not wear one.
The lady that handled my food pretty much had no mask on
Would come back in the future when covid isnt a thing

Awesomely Delicious food. Really enjoyed the Pumpkin tarts, Breads and sweet confessions. I recommend it to all. Try it once and you will be in love with the bakery. Lago Italian Bakery Keep doing the great job, you are Amazing!

Excellent bakery and espresso place! Bought a Christmas Chocolate Log and my family love it! Fresh, moist, and chocolaty! Great Mocca as well. I always make an effort to stop by and grab something when I am nearby. Just haven't tried the hot food.

A bit cheaper than other places in the area. I have only tried the cappuccino and a little pastry and they were good.

I went there ordering cheese pizza and one of my friends was ordering pepperoni. Being a Muslim, I couldn't have the cheese slices and pepperoni warmed up together. I told the person warming up the pizzas and she found out I was Muslim. She then replied "c'mon this is Canada". I would give it a zero stars but one star is the lowest possible.
