Great experience, cabins are cozy and in a community like set up but still a good amount of space between them. This is the perfect place for families with young children. Small beach close by and you can rent boats and use the paddle boats. There is a playground in the center as well as a shuffle board court, volley ball net and horseshoe area and a community style campfire pit (they provide you with dry wood daily to boot). The owner is definitely in the right line of work very friendly and sociable.

Just past the community center up the road you'll find an osprey nest about a fifteen minute walk.

I hope to come back with more of my family next year!

Classic style cabin accomodations. They provide kayaks and tubes free of charge to guests. Lake is decent, but quite a bit of seaweed. Very small beach. The employee working at the resort store is borderline unfriendly.

Great place to go fishing, stay the weekend and rent a boat. Worth heading up for a day trip and renting a boat. Very reasonably priced and great people to deal with. Highly recommended

Awesome place to rent a fishing boat, and great place to fish too! Chris, Sandy and Carson were extremely polite and courteous made my fishing trip with my dad and uncle hassle free and enjoyable. Will be back with the rest of the family soon! Thanks Dalrymple resort!

I didn't actually stay here - just rented a boat with my family. The process was easy and the man who helped us was friendly and gave us some good fishing tips! Would love to come back again:)

It was great! Very unexpected and the owners are nice. Just be mindful of your bookings, but it was great, lots of fun!

My family came here for my entire childhood, staying in the Sunset. They later purchased a cottage across the lake. It was an absolute vital piece of every summer memory growing up. Last year I had the pleasure in my adulthood to bring my spouse back and even my grown sister with her own little one. It was exactly as we remembered. Wonderful shop, fantastic ice cream. Lovely people. Variety of fish to catch. Several types of non motor water fun options. Additionally, I was hesitant knowing there was new owners, but Chris went above and beyond from day 1 when I booked months in advance all the way through the end of our stay.
Definitely will go back and make it a new part of our summers to keep my childhood going.

My kids love to go there. Lots fun for everybody. Great fishing. We going back there every year. Kris and Ana are amazing and always helpful?

Amazing views, family indoor and outdoor activities on site. My children were in love, aswell as my husband and myself. I did leave the first morning there to purchase more cleaning supplies as cottage wasn't cleaned thoroughly, toilet, underneath beds, etc. But with a little cleaning it was amazing to call home for the week.

Boat rental was a great price for half a day. Beautiful lake and caught some decent pike. Hope to be back in the future.

Excellent location and people here are very friendly and nice. Especially the owner of the place. And the management.

Conditions terrible.very dirty, full of bugs, no air conditioning. If someone's conditions in the building correspond to whatever the outside is, in my opinion the conditions for families with children are terrible.

Great Service with clean and updated cabin. Chris made us feel welcome and made sure we were happy. We will definitely be renting here next year!

Honestly, you can get a better deal than a stay at Lake Dalrymple Resort. Great beach, great fishing, amazing amenities and clean cabins surrounding tons of things for the kids to do. Chris and Anna are the best, always helpful and friendly, and a bit too generous for my waistline with the ice cream scoops! - Emily

I’ve been to this place every year since 2015. Chris and his family are amazing people. My kid loves the variety ice cream better than anywhere else. Fishing, swimming, paddling.there are so much funs there.

Quaint cottages, great family atmosphere and awesome fishing! Have been going for years with friends and family. The owner Chris is awesome, always accommodating, always smiling.

My family and I have been going to Dalrymple resort for several years now and we absolutely love it! The owner Chris is the best and is so kind and accomodating. The lake is so beautiful and the sunsets are amazing. They sell Kawartha ice cream in the store and have paddle boards, paddle boats and kayaks to use at the beach. You can also rent motor boats to fish or to just take a cruise around the lake.
The grounds are kept so clean and the cottages are great. My kids always have the time of their lives there and we always look forward to going back. We thank Chris and Anna for always helping make it an amazing time whenever we stay there! Definitely recommend for family’s and fishers!

Chris, Anna and the entire Lake Dalrymple Resort team are second to none. Always welcoming, it's like coming home. My family and I have been coming to the resort for the last 5 years, some years multiple times per year. Great environment for the kids, family oriented, and pets are welcome. Cottages are clean, comfortable and all in a short distance to the lake. Great fishing and boating. The kids love exploring the area. We have met some great people over the years! Lake Dalrymple Resort feels like a home away from home. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the outdoors with the family. There are many cottages to choose from, all which are comfortable, inviting and cozy and lots of activities to do on site with the kids. The ice cream is our kids favourite. My mother and I stayed here for a weekend and it was amzing all the ppl are so friendly and the saff are so amzing I will be going back for sure

This wonderful resort provides everything you would need for a weekend or week day retreat these fully furnished cottages give you the comfort of home with a store on site makes life easier for shopping for the basic needs of a cottage life also if your hot take a dip on there private beach or take a spin in there boats the fishing is great on this lake also there is a restaurant up stairs and there is a play ground basketball net fire pit volly ball court and a walking trail the hosts are very friendly and tend to any problems or questions you may have

I didn’t actually stay at one of their cottages but I interacted with a man who runs the resort as well as the boat rental place. We were staying at another cottage near by. He was very “cool” and allowed my kids to use the fishing area and also let the kids use the life jackets for free. His interaction with me and willingness to help (even though I wasn’t one of his customers) goes a long way for me. I may actually rent one of his cottages in the near future to return the favor. Keep up the great service.

I've been going to resorts for 20 years now, and Chris has figured out the secret to getting guests to come back year after year. It's all about catering to the customer and making them feel special. The resort is great for families, lots to do. Bonfire, volleyball, basketball, hockey, horse shoes. I've been coming here for 6 years now, and my experiences only get better.

This place is fantastic for families! We stayed in cabins 7,8 and 9 (there where 10 of us) Cabins are rustic, but have everything you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation. Kids loved the activities in the centre of the resort (basketball, ball hockey, shuffle board, table soccer, volleyball and much more) We loved the location of these as we could see the kids at all times. Beach area is clean and the deck is a great spot to be able to watch the kids swimming. We rented a fishing boat and where very pleased with how affordable it was, as well as how many fish we caught! There are kayaks and paddle boats for use at no charge. We also caught many fish from the dock.
The owner is very accommodating, and more than reasonable when it comes to pricing! We defiantly plan to return. Thanks Chris!
