Lake Simcoe Arms Pub

Went to a private event in the upstairs area with my two young munchkins and the service was fantastic! I wish I remembered her name but she brought art supplies for the kids & chicken strips and fries because they wouldn’t eat what was served. Was friendly and quick to fill glasses

We are new to the area and have come here a few times. Staff are very friendly, atmosphere is great and the food is delicious.

Went with a group of 10, service was fantastic, everyone's meal came basically at the same time. Waitress was fun and accommodating. Very good job. Typical pub grub, hot and fresh.

Spent a week camping at SIBBALD POINT, needed a good meal. Stopped in and will do it again without a doubt. Cheers to the staff!

Delicious fish and chips and french onion soup - and the sangria was perfect! We had the fries and sweet potato waffle fries - and both were yummy! Loved the terrace - highly recommend this pub to others. Free parking in the back

Went for "brunch"/lunch on the weekend. Service was great, super friendly and gave us some suggestions in the area. Food was great, we got eggs and steak, eggs and peameal, eggs and bacon and chicken tenders. All delicious!
Drinks were great too!

Just a note: patio isn't dog friendly but we were allowed to have her on the grass beside the patio. Appreciated them allowing that. We were up there camping so it wasn't like we could leave her at home. Tabby (the dog) appreciated the comments that she was very well behaved and welcomed back anytime.

Great patio too, def will be back when we come camping again!

The shepherd's pie was the quality of having been warmed up after coming out of the freezer.

I came here with my friends after a fun day at the beach for what we thought was gonna be a nice dinner. We’ve come here before and had a good time so we didn’t think anything of doing it again.

When I received my Mac n cheese, half way into eating it I noticed a hair in my food. Me and my friends politely called a waiter and mentioned the hair. They took the Mac n cheese back and offered another one in a to go box however I declined. My friends who were also eating the Mac n cheese were disgusted and also politely just asked to take away all of the food. One friend ate about half while the other barely even had a chance to touch her food.

Obviously my meal was comped but the manager said the other two had to pay. My friend who ate half paid for her food but the one who only took a bite didn’t feel comfortable paying 17 dollars for something she didn’t eat because of the restaurants error.

I stood up for my friend and the manager began getting angry and tried to say she ate three quarters of her meal which was a bold lie. She proceeded to me very rudely accuse me of planting the hair in my food to get a free meal just because both hairs are brown even though my hair is much longer.

We ended up paying for the meal after she threatens making this a criminal mater but we feel at the very least she should have received some sort of discount and definitely not the attitude.

We liked this place before but definitely will never be back. Server was nice though.

Edit: I forgot to mention she never once apologized, just said that this happens in the restaurant industry.

Me and my friends came to have a nice dinner here however we found a hair in one of our friends mac and cheese we complained and the manager accused my friend of putting the hair in himself. The manager then continued to raise her voice at us and was rude about giving my other friend a discount as the hair may have been in our plates as well. We were uncomfortable of eating our food and therefore did not eat even half of our food. Two of us ended up paying over $30 for the food that we BARELY ate. This was completely disrespectful and a horrible experience. We are disgusted and do not recommend this restaurant. We were polite but received very poor service.

Had the new Philly cheesesteak. WOW. Honestly the best sandwich ive had I can remember. Just Perfect

Stick to chicken wings. Pastas are uninspired.

This place has gone down hill. Ordered wings today and they were gross and soggy. Too bad we won't be going back.

We went for dinner on Mother’s Day and both of us had the Prime Rib. It was done to perfection! The server was very friendly and checked on us often to make sure we had everything we needed.
The price for the Prime Rib was very reasonable!
I would recommend this place. We will definitely be going there again!

Food was terrible, they messed up fish and chips and liver and onions, but our server was terrific.

We live 2.5hrs away from this location and a local recommended this place. So happy we stopped here. Possibly the best fish and chips ever, and the sweet potato waffle fries! Wow! Our server Mackenzie was on point with the menu and offered amazing service. I rank this as one of our best traveling restaurants. Karaoke was happening during our visit. A must stop if you are passing thru the area.
