Lakefield Restaurant

Food is priced well and really, not too bad. There are gluten friendly options as well. My wife has Celiac disease and hasn't had an issue with the Greek salad and the chicken. Dated atmosphere though. Service is excellent.

Superb food. The servers were really good and explained the dishes well. The land rack was really good. Portion size is huge.
Would definitely recommend.

Fresh and real ingredients are always used, we love supporting small and local and this is one of our favourite places. Didn’t have a single bite left, sign of a great meal, as always.

Terrible. Arugula on lamburger was ancient and wilted, when I requested fresh, I was given more ancient and wilted arugula. The lamburger was from a supermarket frozen patty, not ground lamb mixed with their own herbs. The burger was UNDERCOOKED! And when I asked them to cook it more, it came back in the same state. Not even warmer.
And they charged us for it.
They do not have a chef, they have a glorified “egg flipper”.

Place was clean and staff was friendly! Very reasonably priced. We thoroughly enjoyed our food (ordered chicken souvlaki and steak on a bun) and would eat again here next time we are in the area!

Very nice restaurant. The menu includes a variety of food but Greek is their specialty. The portions are way above average and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Add a beer, wine or nonalcoholic drink to top off a great meal.

However, the Calamari was not Good. Its a prebreaded frozen Product.

Great Greek food and the servers are so awesome. This is a cozy spot in a nostalgic kind of way. Like going back to the late 90’s to your favourite casual family restaurant. The serving sizes of the dinner are really big. I like to share a dinner and if you do your own you’ll have left overs.

Super staff, abundance of hot fresh food, reasonably priced, clean washrooms. Pleasure to eat hear and will definitely return.

Awesome food and a friendly staff. We ate here the last 2 nights (just moving into Lakefield and D 'n I were more than pleased. Great way to meet your neighbours. Good price point. Thanks Alyssa.

(Nov 4 2022) As older adults, I often find this restaurant quite cold. I'm sure it's hot in the kitchen but as a guest when I'm physically uncomfortable because it is colder inside, more so than outside, I will go to a different restaurant, simply because I know I will be warmer outdoors! I don't think I should need to wear sweater and coat in order to dine indoors. Sorry.

Chloe was our waitress. The restaurant was busy and they were short staffed. She was amazing and the food was delicious. The portions are huge. The restaurant is very clean. Would definitely go back. Thank you.

Sorry, but the atmosphere (static radio station playing over the sound system) made it hard to enjoy our meal. Make sure you ask what is in the salad when you order it, because the village salad has no lettuce but a bowl full of half ripened tomatoes, with a few slices of cucumbers & green peppers. Staff was nice.

Dinner was hot and delicious. Our server was fantastic but the restaurant was so cold our group of 7 were freezing.
