I am so incredibly impressed by Lakefront Motors. Derek (owner) I’d amazing and Mathew (mechanic) are hard working, honest, and amazing mechanics who took the stress out of my car accident. They coordinated the toe to their shop, insurance estimate, parts, sending offsite to a body shop and fid incredible repairs. As a woman it’s nice to finally have a trustworthy mechanic who doesn’t tip me off and gets the job done! Can not recommend enough.

Derek helped me with checking out a possible used vehicle purchase for my son. He was helpful and honest and was able to look at the car right away. Amazing service. Would definitely recommend.

My car lost power on the 403 on Monday in rush hour. I was so scared.
. The tow truck driver took me there because he knew they would look at my car right away. I couldn’t get over the amazing service, they actually cared.

Very bad experience. Had a diesel work truck go in and out as they couldn't diagnose why my engine light was on. Changed 4000$ plus of work which did nothing. I took it to a far more experienced mechanic and he couldn't believe what they did. I was ripped off huge. The only issue was a starter lol. My vehicle has worked perfect ever since. On top of that they damaged the roof of my vehicle and never told me. I found it when I returned home: (. I had enough of these guys and moved on. I highly recommend not bringing any vehicle to this place

Expert knowledge, courteous service plus lower prices

I've been going here for a year or so for tire and oil changes, and they've always been quick and courteous, giving me good info and options when I unexpectedly needed to replace both all my rotors, brake pads and winter tires at once. This week I had a full breakdown in the evening after the garage was closed. We got it towed over, and when I called the shop and it rang through to the owner's cell, and he was able to confirm he had eyes on the car via outdoor cameras. That reassured me it was safe to leave overnight. He directed me to leave the key in the drop box and called the next day to recommend a new starter vs a rebuild for only $30 more. He was also so thoughtful and checked and charged my battery for free. I will definitely recommend Dereck as a great, honest and local mechanic. He's trustworthy and friendly every time I call him for help. 5 stars!

Lakefront Motors has been in our family for a few years now. Very trustworthy, Dereck is a great guy and always has your back! The team knows what they are doing and I have recommended them to many other friends.

Have taken my car into Derek on a couple of occasions now for different reasons. The quality of the work on both occasions was exceptional, and I plan on bringing my car into Lakefront Motors any time I need service going forward. Never had a doubt in my mind about leaving my car in their hands. Doesn't hurt that their prices are incredibly fair. Would highly recommend this shop to anyone that is ever looking to have work done on their car in Mississauga. These guys know their stuff.

The best, most trustworthy shop around! Dereck and Matt were very honest, helpful and quick when it came to fixing my car. They helped me get my car back up and running and properly explained everything to me. I will always take my car to Lakefront!

Best shop in city hands down! Excellent and reliable service that you can always count on. Been coming here for years, first to original location and new spot which is just down the street. Ask for Matt who will take care of anything you need. He knows everything about cars and is very professional. Trust me, don't bother going any place else.

I used to go to a different mechanic shop that also located on lakeshore before transitioning over to Lakefront Motors. Dereck and Matt are the ultimate duo. Easy to work with, genuine and helpful people that can relate. Reason I left my old shop is because they did not stand behind their work. I took the problem to Lakefront Motors, paid again but actually had it fixed in under a day. I have recommended all my friends and family to this shop and will continue to do so. They are the best mechanic shop in Mississauga. I’d like to stick with them for good as it is hard to find trustworthy people to work with.

Ps. These guys stay true to their work and if something is not fixed as it should’ve been done, they wont hit you with an extra cost. They re-examine, fix and end of story!
