We attended this dealership in hopes of purchasing a Jeep and dealt with the sales manager, Dave. To say that the experience was unpleasant is an understatement.

Dave made a grievous error in pricing when dealing with us and instead of just being accountable and owning the mistake so that we could wash our hands clean of it and walk away he lied to us through his teeth and tried to convince us that we had looked and priced out a completely different vehicle than the one that we were purchasing. In fact, he essentially told us that we purchased a vehicle that we never discussed price with in order to justify his mistake.

We went in to sign the paperwork to purchase the vehicle and that is when we picked up on the enormous pricing difference from what Dave offered us than what was on the paperwork. We were told to "put a pin in it" by Chris and that we would speak to Dave on Monday as he doesn't answer his phone when he's fishing (I had taken the day off work to pick the vehicle up - which was already registered to me, and insured without ever having signed paperwork).

Roll around to Monday and no call from Dave. In fact, we had to call Dave and then he said he would call us back and didn't. We then had to reach out to Dave again and this is when he tried to pretend as if we had discussed another vehicle entirely than the one that we wanted. Dave knew that we wanted to purchase a 4XE and mistakenly priced out the Sahara for us. Again, honest mistake, not a big deal, what is the big deal though is lying to our faces and telling us that we had agreed to the price that was offered for a Sahara not a 4XE. He then also tried to tell my husband that we were interested in the Sahara's even though he knew a nonnegotiable for me was that the vehicle had to have leather seats and neither one of those vehicle had leather seats. Moreover, we never test drove a Sahara and for him to suggest that we did is a joke as they are both parked in places that are in accessible to test drive them.

The lack of accountability is mind-boggling and moreover the lack of integrity is incredibly upsetting. We were willing to go in and purchase a vehicle, and we would have purchased something else there, had Dave just owned his mistake and then we could have moved on. But instead he lied to us, he lied to his coworkers about his mistake and not only did he lose the sale, we will be sure to let everyone know how terrible the service was at this dealership.

Dave also knew that we:

1) Sold our existing vehicle and now did not have a car to drive.
2) Purchased parts/tires in the sum of a few thousand dollars for a vehicle we no longer were getting due to his error.

Nothing was offered in return except a half-hearted, disingenuous apology.

This was posted to the Facebook page and then reviews were disabled on the account, with no response, and further to that, Dave went online and blocked my account from viewing the Facebook page. Does this sound like someone who hadn't done anything wrong or does this sound like someone trying to cover their tracks?

This violates the Code of Ethics and I'm certain that if this had been done to me then it has been down to countless others.

Honestly don't think these people want to sell me a new vehicle! I'd love to stay small town but not with the service or lack of we are experiencing right now.
It's a shame.

Incredibly happy. This place is awesome, staff are incredibly helpful and friendly.

Honestly if you are looking to buy or trade in any vehicle, make them your first stop.

My 2011 Ram 1500 had two issues that Jennifer and her service team at Lakeview Chrysler bent over backwards to fix. We were in the middle of moving when my truck wouldn’t start. Kudos to CAA for a 20 minute response time! The first diagnosed problem was a faulty starter motor. Issue 1 fixed. Issue 2 was more complex. Green rot had rendered my TIPM (fuse box) inoperable. It was an expensive repair. They tried a second hand unit but it was poor quality. I needed the truck for the coming weekend for moving as we needed to be ready for the movers on Monday. Jennifer and her team found my part; sent a driver to Peterborough to get it; the tech worked hard to install the unit and I got my truck back just before closing on Friday. I so appreciate Jennifer’s perseverance to stay on top of this repair and in so doing I’m able to take care of last minute moving and disposal. A true team effort saved the day. Thanks Jennifer and your service team. Well done!

They are the best. Bought my truck there, and I'll drive from Ottawa to them just to change my oil. Beautiful people and a very welcoming atmosphere.

I brought my truck in here after I heard a grinding noise while driving. The team at Lakeridge not only fit my diagnostic in same-day despite having a full schedule, but they were fast in figuring out that the problem was the differential and that it needed to be replaced. They were also very accommodating in getting me a loaner vehicle while we waited for the part to arrive, and kept me very informed throughout the whole process. They even got the repair done a few days early.

After having a really negative experience with the dealership where I bought my truck, it's extremely refreshing to have a positive one here. I wish I had purchased the vehicle from Lakeridge to begin with.

I think that the best measure of a dealership is how they treat you when things go awry, and Lakeridge has demonstrated that they go above and beyond, both in the quality of the repairs and in the dedication to good customer service.

A special thanks to Jennifer at the service desk for her understanding and friendly attitude. It really makes all the difference.

Absolutely amazing experience. I couldn't be more happy. Bought my very first truck and Eric and Chris made the whole experience seamless. They were professional, kind and cared about what my needs where. Thank you so very much to everyone at Lakeridge, I will be back. BTW loving the shirt and hat, you all are awesome.

My husband and I had wanted to trade our car in for something bigger and Chris was able to help us beyond what I thought was possible and was able to get my husband into a 1979 Thunderbird in EXCELLENT condition. We left extremely happy and appreciate everything Chris did for us!

First negative review ever.
Absolutely horrible customer service. I bought the truck there, and maintained it there. Got an oil change just over a month ago. Nothing wrong.last week engine dies, they want me to pay $25,000 for a replacement engine. When I questioned why a motor for a 2014 truck would cost so much, I was told they were expensive engines and that a used one would cost the same as a new one? 25k for a truck worth 15-17k doesn't make sense. I was then told it was probably my fault because I was 4000km over on my last oil change. I thought they were joking. When i declined, I was told to come pay the diagnostic bill and tow my truck away. The diagnostic bill was a gouging $440 just to tell me the engine was dead.
Boyer, at my request, quoted me $19k for a new engine and $12 for a used, which is thousands less. Thanks Lakeridge. You've lost a customer.

Great to buy from. Horrible service department. Won’t honour warranties, and insanely high prices on bodywork due to third party body shop. Price made me think that there is scam here. Buy from here take the vehicle anywhere else for service. This experience made me happy to go back to a ford truck

Huge shout out to the service team at Lakeridge Chrysler in Port Hope, ON. I had engine problems over the Easter weekend that left me stranded while passing the town of Port Hope. Everyone I dealt with was very helpful and they were able to get me back on the road with as little down time as possible. Thank you!

Great dealership! Back in 2016 me and my wife bought a dodge dart from Ian Parker and it was a great reliable car after 7 with the car we realized we needed something all wheel drive so we headed back to lakeridge to look at a ram. The wife always wanted a Durango though so I asked the salesman Sean Triggs if he could source us a dodge Durango in destroyer grey by chance. Sean found us a Durango instantly for a great price and with way more options then we were expecting so we got it. Well last bad snow storm I got to finally test out it’s all wheel drive capabilities and I have to say I felt like I was on a casual Sunday drive. It handled it with ease. I can’t thank the team at lakeridge Chrysler enough for helping us out with our purchase. If you are considering a dodge I highly recommend this dealership and go see Sean Triggs he is a great guy to deal with.

Awesome when we first went a few years back.not so much recently. Took jeep in.long story short.always ask for old parts back. Charged$ 500 for new housing.when it was a $2 o ring.wont be returning

Stopped in to have batteries changed in my key FOBs and man behind service desk said it was his 1st day at counter. Key FOB's fixed and rear wiper blade replaced in less than 10 minutes. Excellent service from him. Thank you!
