Dr. Patel and his team have been my dental team since I was a little kid. They've always made me and my family feel welcome and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a family friendly dentist.

Treatment was awesome. The staff felt a bit overwhelmed and lethargic though. I hope they get respite.

I recently just started going to see Dr Patel. My son had a lot of tooth decay and needed several extractions and multiple fillings to be done. On our first visit to see Dr Patel my son was feeling very anxious and worried about the appointment.
Dr Patel and his staff made my son feel comfortable and calm and explained everything to him. The extraction went amazing well, my son didn’t feel the freezing or procedure at all! The appointment couldn’t went better.
My son actually wants to go to the dentist now! Thank you to Dr Patel and his wonderful staff for being so caring and compassionate and for the exceptional treatment we received. We are now full time patients of the clinic.
I would highly recommend Lakeshore West Dental to anyone who wants quality dental care!

My entire family has been with Lakeshore West Dental for almost 20 years. Dr. Patel is absolutely amazing, super gentle, always polite and a true professional. He is great with adults and also possesses a unique quality - he is great with kids. My kids since there the earliest years enjoyed there visits to Dr. Patel. As to me, what i really appreciate at this clinic - Dr. Patel would never recommend any unnecessary procedures, will educate and lead through the entire process and will allow the patients to make decisions they are comfortable with. I also have to mention Magdalena, she is a dental hygienist and Lakeshore West Dental and a real fairy. Last time i had my teeth cleaned, i was so comfortable and relaxed, I almost fell asleep. Highly recommend this clinic for adults and especially for kids! Love you, guys

Absolutely amazing dentist. Detailed, very caring and very affordable. Dr. Patel takes his time to explain everything. He gave me options for my tooth but most importantly his listens patiently and took all my concerns and fears into consideration. The staff is also super nice and caring.

Absolutely professional dental practitioner who keeps himself up to date with teaching at school of dentistry. He is very to approachable and has excellent clinical approach. I’ll never forget this dentist. Actually scammed me. I had a lower front tooth that was in terrible shape, half broken. Came to them to get the work done and he asked me what I wanted to do. I said I wanted to fix the front tooth and he said well let’s get the other work out of the way first then we’ll address that. Two or three appointments later I was buzzed from the gas and I’ll never forget the words he said as I was leaving his office for the last time. The only job left in my mouth was the tooth I wanted addressed and Dr Sam Patel said “There’s nothing I can do for that, I’m not touching that tooth”. I was dismayed and let down from the whole experience and still feeling insecure from half of a missing front tooth for months. I went to an Asian fellow in Scarborough soon after that and he knocked the same job out of the park leaving me confident and happy for decades to come. It’s been a long time since this happened but just know it did happen. I’d hate to think it’ll happen to someone else because I said nothing.

The dentist didn't even have time to do a full exam and charged me thru insurance and used my one time coverage for nothing basically and now i have to pay from my own pocket to do another exam somewhere else.

I have been going to Sam since he opened his business on Lake shore. The best dentist out there as far as i am concerned. He is amazingly patient with me. At first i hated dentists and even going. I would put my hand up all the time for him to stop. I look back now and laugh at what a big chicken i was. Now no hand up i trust him with all my heart. I just have to say i look into those eyes of his and feel nothing. Helps that he is very handsome to.lol

This place is great! I have been to a few different dentists in the last couple of years and can honestly say this place is what I’ve been searching for. Great caring staff, very fare prices and a very clean and freshly renovated facility! I would recommend it anyone that is looking to upgrade their dental standards!

Be careful he will hurt your tongue for a week!

My experience with him was not good at all! I had 2 crowns to be done. He could not arrange his position to do his work and he made me lie down 180 angle and I could not control my tongue because of the water going though my throat directly because of the angle, and he just simply did not care whether he was hurting my tongue or not, and meanwhile he was also just yelling! The result I suffered at least a week because of my tongue hurting badly!

The worst dentist I have ever had! Never recommend to anyone!

Dr Samir Patel at the Lakeshore West Dental Office should have his license revoked. My experience was horrendous. Imagine having a root canal while the dentist (Patel) yells at the assistant and basically calls her an idiot. Then leaves the room for another appointment and keeps me waiting for over 30min with a large metal instrument sticking out of my mouth! The assistant apologized profusely and even said she's asked him so many times not to do this. She appeared frustrated and tried to get him to return many times after I motioned to her that I was in alot of pain. I get the feeling Dr Patel isn't "all" up there. All dentists should be put through psychological tests before getting licensed. This guys loopy. Find any other dentist.
