Mike is a very knowledgeable, patient and passionate mechanic, diagnosed an issue almost immediately, when it took an authorized BMW dealership 4 times to come to Mikes conclusion. Grateful to have found a trust-worthy garage.

Mike told me one thing on the phone then charge more after he got the car.didn't even fix the problem.i don't care if u charge a million dollars for your service, be transparent with your price. Don't over charge because its a woman. It's a pity Mike's did that.if I could give no stars I would. I would NEVER recommend this shop. I've ALWAYS taken my cars to the dealership but a friend told me I should try here.word of advice, the dealership may charge more but there is excellent customer service and they do an exceptional job. Mike on the other hand.

I needed a new axle shaft with boots and was told by Bmw dealer that I need new ball joints. I did some research and called Lakeside and Mike was very helpful and quoted a much better price. Mike and the garage was so honest in telling me that my ball-joints are fine. Just the dealer prematurely assumed that the grease in area of the balljoint was from a leak. But Mike told me that it was grease coming from the axle shaft boots that were leaking. Anyways save me over $500 repair that the dealer quoted for it. I would highly recommend this garage that is very familiar with import cars.

I just wanted to leave a review for Lakeside Motors. I had my brakes done there this morning and had a very pleasant experience and a nice chat about cars. The work was completed in the time initially quoted and the guys are very professional and down-to-Earth. I am always looking to support quality mechanics rather than dealerships and I am glad I took my car here. I have always had a passion for cars and I love mine to death (second only to my wife) so as you can imagine, I am very reluctant to let people work on it. Speaking to the owner and seeing they are honest, skilled mechanics, I will be recommending them to anybody I know with a BMW.

Great place to get work done on your BMW. Rates are based on the quality of work done. Mike and Dave are well educated mechanics. This place is a lubrico approved warranty centre. Highly recommended.

I have an 06 BMW M3. Mike and the boys do a great job. Always friendly and willing to help. Lots of experience at this shop. They've invested lots by having all the proper BMW scanners and such to maintain your BMW. Great shop!

Horrible customer experience. I was told by the person at the reception that they don't have time for my questions and its a waste of their time. I won't recommend this shop to anyone who believes in dealing with respectful and helping people.

Great guys to take care of your BMW’s at reasonable costs. They might not help the fact that some of the BMW parts are indeed expensive but it’s always better to take your car to people who know exactly what they are doing and get it right the first time than to some other garages where the labour might be cheaper but they might need to experiment with unwanted repairs to fix the actual problem and that way you will end up spending more. They also seem to have a good stock of quality oem parts so that your car gets fixed quickly in most cases without waiting for the parts to be ordered and shipped in. Way better than going to the stealership!

I was referred to Lakeside Motors by another indy shop in town as i scurried to get a misfiring cylinder looked at before driving to NYC to visit family. I called and they agreed to see me immediately - which I realize was super lucky. The rough idle during my 10-15km trek to the shop made it extremely clear that if they couldn't fix it there was no way i was driving to NYC in my BMW. In about an hour they found the cause and fixed it. Yay!

Good fortune aside, I really liked how they had parts on hand for all of the most common issues BMWs have - no waiting all afternoon for the parts to be delivered (in my case, at least). Their prices were also extremely reasonable. I paid about half what I had been expecting to pay for exactly the same work/parts at BMW. They are a small shop, but their waiting area was comfortable and had water and pod coffee for those who were waiting.

I'd most definitely return to Lakeside for my next oil change, or any future issue that may arise. Thanks, Guys!

I'm a woman, so I don't usually go to the mechanic shop alone, but my car started acting up, so I decided to find a shop to bring it to since I had the day off. After reading a few reviews I called 2 shops and they were both too busy to take a look at my car. The 3rd shop I called was Lakeside and they told me they were also busy, but they could try to squeeze me in. I decided to head over. Derek was working the desk and he was nice, very honest and explained everything to me in detail. I went in for brakes and a vibrating issue on my BMW, but the brakes ended up being ok and they told me I didn't need to fix them. The other issue had to be dealt with and the mechanics had my car in and out of there in about 1hr and 1/2. Service was great. I will definitely be bringing my car back to Lakeside in the future.
