Lakeside Park

There is the carousel for $0.05. Nice view. MobiStrip good for everyone to get to the water. Once the pavilion is built and the piers are settled it will be worth 5 stars. You now have to pay for parking. Free parking in the fall and winter.

Now that the construction of the pier has been completed last year, it's renovation is amazing. More parking spaces and more walkways and alongside the walkways is better lighting to enjoy the walk at night before park closes for the day at 9 pm. The Lakeside Carousel is a delight for all ages, closed for the winter season, will open in the Spring.

Huge parking lot. The handicapped spots are nice and close to the pier. U get 3 hours of free parking as long as your permit is visible.

Lakeside Park in Port Dalhousie St Catharines is the best beach in the area.

With ample room. There restrooms / change rooms, ice cream bars, Pavilions with a lot of Green Space for picnicking.

Very clean well maintained.

Plenty of parking.

With a long pier for walks and viewing the many ships in the area passing by. There are permanent posts for volleyball nets.

I spend as much time at Lakeside Park in Port Dalhousie St Catharine's as I can.

Park on the shore of Lake Ontario beach. Very nice to walk around for a while and see the sailboats in the port. There are also restaurants nearby and sometimes they organize activities in the park.

Beautiful, Traditional, Nice people Lakeside Park, you can enjoy beach and looking at Ships which are around:), I felt I am at Real Canada here:)

Great beach with lots of shade and shallow, close sand bars. The large pavilion makes it great for kids and families. The staff at the snack shop were really friendly too

Great place for families with small children. The water is warm and not deep. May have difficulty finding a parking spot if you decide to be there around noon. A beautiful old carousel for kids is available. The ride is 5 cents and donations are welcome.

Superb place to relax from a fast paced life. Nice place to enjoy quality time with friends and family.

The Beach was inviting, it was not crowded. Saw the light house. The surroundings looked very nice and clean.

Way to many out of towners. What happed to our nice little beach? Gotta pay to park your car now to just go to the beach. B. S.

Beautiful park/beach will be back for sure, was a lovely day for a walk with the family and friends when we went.

This merry-go-round is free with a small coin donation for those who can! Loved it when visiting the beach!
