A favourite walk in the city, behind St. Mary' s Hospital. It almost feels and sounds like the city is far away.

A fun place to visit. Wandered around the lake, looking for ducks, geese, and other wildlife. Check out the enormous teddy bear statues. A fun way to spend a couple hours.

They took away the nice bench under the willow tree. There is a washout that hasn't been fixed for weeks on the asphalt trail at the far end.near queen st. And it's constantly muddy and flooded near the main access to lake.so you have to walk on tiny logs to get to the lake. Or get soaked and muddy. Why not build a bridge or a boardwalk. It's been like this for years. So annoying. Definitely needs some improvement.

Beautiful, well-manicured little park in the heart of Kitchener. Just a couple minutes from St Mary's hospital it was the perfect place to walk then sit and read a book while waiting for family members procedure at the hospital.

It's been a few years since I was at this park with Piper () and it was a little dirtier around the water than I remembered. Nice spot for bird watching

Beautiful hidden Gem in the heart of Kitchener. The multi use path is wide, shaded and in great shape. There are a few picnic tables along the route by the lake. Lots of ducks and geese though so use caution in the spring (we all know how the cobra chickens get around their young). There is a turtle Beach sanctuary, please respect it's purpose. It's not for humans. But a beautiful attempt to assist the turtles that live in the lake. The views are stunning, and it's a great place to walk/ride on your way to the downtown core or just to have a coffee.

I thoroughly enjoyed spending time here last summer and walking around the trails. I even saw a heron once! If you don't live nearby, there's parking by a small playground off of Lakeside Drive that always had spots.
