Lakewoods Park Lookout

One of the best park in durham. As it includes all together. Park with lots of rides (specially swing and slides), beach and splash pad. Kids will love it

Great view, you can see the C. N tower on a clear day.generally, a great quiet spot to relax, get some air, and enjoy the sun and view

If u r in oshawa for a visit, lakeview park, beer and a book would be a great choice. This is a placr less visited and hence offers a great peace of mind. Highly recommended for creative people. A great choice for people who are about to propose their partners during spring time.

I've been here b4, and interestingly enough, there are " love locks" on this fence, and the city should leave them. Its a tradition, all over the world! I also think its beautiful thing, it will give Oshawa some culture

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL park! Superb play ground for all children! Sandy beach with a lifeguard on duty and wheelchair access. Multiple parking lots. Snack bar.

Just amazing morning sunrise. Well worth coming. Got so many amazing shots. Also good spot for walks. Nice long trails around. Nice sized park to bring the kids to play while you sit back and relax. Very clean space. Morning time has a bunch of people looking for this view.

Easy trail to walk along the waterfront. Good to walk your dog. Watch for beautiful scenery along the trail.

Absolutely beautiful place to take your family or by yourself. Durham region has so many beautiful nature places to check out and this is one of them. I'll take photos next time I come and add them to my review

Best time to go is at sundown. The angle of the sunset highlights the water and trees beautifully. Quite a nice view.

Amazing sunset view. One of the perfect spot to just sit down and watch the glowing golden sun slowly emerge into the lake. Bring your portable chair as there are no benches available in this park. Relatively small lookout park. It is fenced at the edge for safety. Nice place to walk, jog. Enough room for kids to play. Few parking spot at this look out. Ma fit about 15 cars but right below before reaching the look out is a bigger parking spot. Definitely busy on a good weather weekend but if you go on weekdays should be a breeze.
Further left is towards another park which is the beach area, there is a lighthouse pier. Nice place for summer dipping.enjoy the beauty of nature has to offer in this nice neighbourhood.

Great place for a short walk with a loved one nice path well maintained, walk on the price that over looks the lake, nice water park for the kids in the summer along with a LCBO restaurant for adults and the poutine is great overall it's a nice place to hangout with family and friends.

This lookout is honestly amazing. Me and my friends live around the area, and it's such a beautiful place. There's a park near it too, and the people there are extremely kind. We go out to go sit and look at the water for a while and it's really nice!

You cant underestimate the parks along lake ontario shoreline.great place to watch the sun set.

Clean park and people are friendly and respectful. Great place to people watch. The beach has shrunk quite a bit over the last couple of years due to rising water levels. Still plenty to do for families with a nice walking path.

Beautiful park. Lots of picnic tables, gazebos and benches. Nearby soccer and basketball court as well.

Lots of beautiful scenery. Nice lot of the end of the docks. Even a corner to watch the sun set with amazing hues across a wide open, high horizon line of lake Ontario.

It all depends what you're looking for down there I like to go down there to read or lay out in the sun and read or visit with some people in friends and have coffee down there there's kids Galore there's a splash pad for them there's climbing things for them up for the on the hill so there's all sorts of things swings and everything for everybody and there's lots of room for having picnics parking so it's really nice there's some french fries and ice cream trucks and they have a new pup there now so it's really nice in washing

Beautiful park and picnic area. I had a great time over there. Jealous of people who have houses on the shore. Some of the most beautiful houses I have seen.

This spot is like "lovers lane". Peaceful if you go super late at night but be warned, you might hear some people hooking up in their cars.

Nice place to go with kids or significant other for an amazing view and lots of fun stuff to do.

Truly remarkable place! Very clean and well-kept park with amazing views of the lake. Also has the waterfront trail nearby which is a lot of fun to ride along.

The park is amazing but we have always taken our dogs to the beach to play in the water now it's all fenced off.
