To my surprise when I called and asked to speak to the owner, not only did Kathy yell at me, but she told me to never step foot in her salon ever again. Kathy, I’m addressing you personally, the way you spoke to me was uncalled for and distasteful. This nail salon is NOT accommodating to mothers with children!

Kathy do better! Don’t come on here and pretend for social media that you were willing to help me, when you weren’t.

I always enjoy my time when I get my nails and feet done. They are always accommodating and work hard!

Super quick service! I got a shellac manicure and it was done within 30 mins. She even made a beautiful flower design on my nails - thank you!

I went there today for an acrylic full set. The staff there was very nice and welcoming as well as accommodating to their clients. Nara especially went above and beyond while I was there, she did my nails exactly how I wanted. Literally a copy and paste from a picture off of pinterest! I am so pleased with the results here! Would recommend to a friend:)

Went to ask if they can cut my dad’s nails because he is a senior and hard for him to do it himself: The lady who met me said she can’t do it when she knew he is elderly and has diabetes even though it would have been so easy to do it they discriminate against anyone who is older or with an illness.

I went in many time and was never more then 55$ then today I go in got nails removed and just acrylic top coat not even new nails and a Mani and it was $90, should have been told it was an extra 40 for the acrylic I don't consider this a full set! Or I would have done what I always do, you talked me into this! I will never be back I feel sick I got ripped off

I love the atmosphere here! The staff is friendly and it appears that they mutually respect each other and the clients. I’ve been to salons that are closer to my home but I found the atmosphere “stuffy” and not as friendly as Lamour at Eastgate Mall. I always go back as I have always been happy with the results and the friendly atmosphere makes it a pleasant experience!

They cut my toe nails too short which has now caused an ingrown to pain me. It’s been 2 weeks since I had my toes done and the toe still hurts. I will now have to schedule a procedure at the foot doctor to have the ingrown surgically removed. I do not recommend going to this place. They will rush the service and cause you more bad than good. I used to come here often as I grew up in the area, but will not be returning after this.

I have always had an amazing experience here, i’ve been a returning client for over 2 years and the girls always do a great job.

I’ve been here twice now and both times have been over the moon with the results!
Some reviews complain of staff not being overly talkative, but I don’t mind if there’s not a lot of conversation I prefer to just enjoy my time in silence anyways lol, and I can understand language barriers being a big factor in that.

Regardless of whether or not they ask you for your life story, they do great work and check in often to make sure water or towels aren’t too hot, the colour is good etc.
All equipment used came out of sanitized packets and they were constantly cleaning when they had down time.

I have always had great experiences at this location. I have been getting bio-gel manicures for 4 years now, and always leave with nails I am happy with. Very chill store, usually some nice music playing. Just be detailed in how you describe what you want and they will do it.

The nail salon is beautiful and very clean. While doing a pedicure, I would recommend using the massage chairs. The parking lot has plenty of space and is located in a mall in a safe neighbourhood.

The nail technician cut my cuticles and 3 of my fingers were bleeding after I left. I had to put bandages on them because they hurt so bad, and after a day they still hurt like hell. Will never come back!

Pedicure was very relaxing. Covid protection. Was worth the price. Would recommend the shellac instead of regular nail polish. Bryan did my manicure. Was great. Highly recommend getting the shellac.
New Pedicure: I got the Jelly Collagen Pedicure. I highly recommend it. My feet were so incredibly soft, it comes with hot rock message, hot towel and I got the shellac polish. Between the message chair and my foot message I left completely relaxed. It also smells great and you get a package of collagen serum to take home to keep your feet soft. It is a 6 step process:
1. Collagen bubble crystals soak
2. Collagen sugar cane scrub
3. Collagen cream mask
4. Collagen muscle relaxing gel
5. Collagen message lotion
6. Collagen serum lotion to take home

I've been going to L'amour Nails for over a decade and they never disappoint. I get complimented on my nails daily and although I could go 4 weeks with my shellac, I book every 2 just to have the down time to relax and get pampered. 10/10! - Kylie

I have been coming to this salon for over a year now and always have an amazing experience and love my nails whenever I leave. I always ask for Hannah, she knows exactly how I like my nails. They are very helpful when picking a colour, because sometimes I don’t know which one I want and they always find one that is flattering on me.
Their pedicures are also well worth the price, you get a full experience and they do not rush it at all, its very relaxing!

Came to do a fill in, the lady charged me for full manicure, I asked for French tip which I already had to start and a side french tip design on each ring finger.expecting service to be around 50 with tax - which she did, but not good at all, and she said I said yes to cuticle clean which I remember saying no to because they seemed fine then told me she had to do manicure full.which I didn't ask for nor it looked like she was doing it! I paid $70 for a fill with white tips which don't resemble french tips and the nails looked cracked. When I came back the following day to talk to manager, lady that did my nails said she's not there and doesn't know what time she'll be in.she kept telling me I said yes to things I know I did not (I came with done nails. I asked for a fill!) She kept telling me (in broken half understanding English) that it is what I asked for.
I am an immigrant myself and had to learn English.if you're gonna scam people out of money and do customer service related job you'd think speaking English and understanding the same would be a requirement!
I have also gone once before to do shellac which fell off after two days and I forgave it.this was just a tip that knocked the glass over. Never going there again and don't recommend anyone else to. I had to go someplace else to have them fixed. Very disappointing.

KATHY and her staff always do a lovely job for me. It's our standard friend day activity. Pedicures and foot massages. Never disappointed here.

Thao was friendly, careful, and professional during my pedicure and manicure. She did a great job and my hands and feet looks great!

Originally I really liked the service, the pedicures were nice and my nails always looked good, but then, I decided to get my eyebrows waxed and the lady embarrassingly said, "we should also do something about the mustache too, too much hair". I was 15 at the time and this absolutely destroyed me. As a teenager self body image isn't great to begin with, I was aware of the fact that I had a little extra hair here and there, but this comment, although likely meant to be an upsell, still hurt.

My daughter went there on the weekend and I told her if she didn't like something speak up. So the lady did a horrible job with the length.she had to remind her to make sure the length was all the same on each finger. She was giving my daughter attitude non stop. She screwed up her design on her nails and it looks horrible. I was actually disappointed. So my daughter said when she was done to the desk she didn't like the service. She will not be going there. Also was told on the phone it was 35 for an acrylic set and she got two designs it shouldn't have been 60 bucks. Not impressed. They need to learn customer service and respect with children. And how to do nails. Her nails were done on Saturday and are wiggly 2 days later.

I always go to this Nail Salon. I get Hannah to do my nails.she is amazing and always polite:) The Salon is clean, The manager is always cleaning after every client that walks in. All of the staff is friendly and very nice, Its a very welcoming salon to go to:) I also take my daughter with me she loves it here. Thanks you so much <3

My mom and I always go here. I like Emily she does an amazing job on me. She is so nice to me very friendly and gentle.very clean.we had to wear gloves to pick out our colours so I know I am safe in the Salon.

Very hygienic! They use all safety measure put in place and make sure they open the sealed package of tools in front of you! Very friendly!

I didn't appreciate being told that I could not have my nails almond shaped as I normally do unless I want them really long. I always get them the same length and almond shaped. I was told that they would have to be oval shaped or they would not look natural. She had me second guessing what shape I usually get but I know it is almond. I had to have her cut more off several times and then she said that she was going to do oval shaped. I was not happy after she had filed them so again I told her to change the shape. The end result is something I can live with but I feel like I paid 50.00 for poor service, when I can get better service elsewhere for 30.00.

Awesome little place in Eastgate mall. Professional, clean, lots of options. They do a great job, no concerns.

Staff has no sense of customer service. I asked for acrylic nail set and she asked me if I wanted gel I refused and said I was okay with acrylic. She said okay and then at the end charged me for gel and said she did gel. She couldn’t understand what I was saying the entire time.

The lady was a bit pushy with upselling me on doing more, made me uncomfortable. And she rushed my service she did a poor job in painting my toes. Would not go back.

I was there as the manager for 3 weeks 2 full days and 2-3 hrs per day of the week I can see that all of them are nice and try the best as they can to provide the best of service, Try their best to speak to customers (English) as much they can. So I give 5 stars for this

I just went now with my husband, 5: 00 and they told me they cannot accept us that is just by appointment, I was surprised because when I go there, no appointment needed, but we acceptEd it and went to another store.after few minutes we passed by the place and saw that they were accepting people without appointment.

Saw Mary for a manicure. She was unbelievably rude. The rudest experience I've ever had at a nail salon. Obviously would not ever go back.
Scrolling through the other reviews online I see many people complaining about the same thing. It is clearly a big issue at this place. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else that has the ability to act with basic common decency.

My sister and I went to get our nails done recently and they did a fair job. My nails weren't even and the color was all over my cuticles and they were smudged. I returned the following day because my sisters nails were peeling off not even 24 hours later. We both got our nails repainted. My sister has a disability and her hand is sometimes shaky and can't control it (the shakiness only lasts a couple of seconds) and we informed the nail tech but it seemed like she didnt listen or cared. When my sisters hand would move/shake she would smack her hand multiple times. I confronted her about it and all she said was "Oh ok I didnt know" even though we told her before she started painting. Otherwise not very impressed with the service, it seemed too rushed and that's why the nails didnt turn out that good.

I had a young lady named Nancy today and she was the best lady I've ever had do my nails she was very attentive made sure they look the exact same size shape she did an amazing job

Save your money and run. Jenny and Kelly and HUGE scammers. They aren't sanitary, they steal from people and triple prices after you have the product already on.
I don't even understand how they are still operating. Save your money, and dignity. They also have very cheap products that do not last for their waaaayyyyyy over priced services.

I originally thought they had done a great job. Then my nails started growing in and I saw how badly they were damaged. She filed down my actual nail and the new growth is a actually thicker than the biogel plus shellac. I've never experienced such terrible damage or lack of care for my nail health. Never again.

Pardon my nails mid manicure but you see that burgundy line? That's where she filed so deeply into my natural nail the polish is embedded and we can't get it out. So I have to keep being reminded of this tragic work until it finally grows out.

Today my grandma went to this nail salon in eastgate and had the worst experience of her life. She recieved a gift card LAST NIGHT for her birthday from a friend, well today she went in to get her nails done before she goes to Florida. When it came time to pay she gave them the gift card and they said it was empty and was used yesterday. It was bought on wednesday and gifted to her yesterday, and she had the receipt to show it was paid for. Well they told her to come back a couple hours later to speak with the manager who tried to tell her the same thing. The friend who had gifted the gift card to her called her credit card to show proof of purchase as well but they still refused and said it was already used. Needless to say the payment for the gift card was cancelled through the credit card company and they paid instead. They tried to scam my grandma for double payment. We are talking about a 75 year old woman, why the hell would she lie about the gift card? Please, if your smart DO NOT go here for your nail needs. They rip you off and are way over priced anyways. I just want people to be aware of the actions they took. Very unprofessional. I know where myself as well as my family will never be returning. Please feel free to share. Very curious as to how many people they have screwed over.

My mom and me went there before summer and she hadn’t been to get her nails done in a while we had asked the price for what we’re getting done over the phone previous so we could have cash and not use interact and they told us 80 when we were leaving they said 105 and I told them I wasn’t going to pay 105 when I was told 80 tax included over the phone. They had the entire store yell at my older mother embarrass her humiliate her and degrade her til the security came and just let us go.they’re disrespectful and do not deserve a business my mom has mental health issues and went home and cried after this experience and I felt so bad even bringing my mom to this nasty place stay away from this buisness at all costs. Also I’m not one to complain but they also didn’t talk to me or my mom not one word during our whole manicure pedicure I felt like I was in a highschool being picked on the atmosphere is just hostile.

God awful place.the staff are incredibly rude. I noticed them trying to rip off other customers that had called ahead for pricing and were trying to tell them it was significantly more when it came time to paying.the place just wreaked of negative vibes

If I could give them no stars I would. Terrible terrible service, who in their right mind scrapes off acrylic nails. It was a painful experience and I hope they go under.
