Avoid this place at all costs, they are so unprofessional and will literally have you waiting 20+ minutes for a pre booked appointment. No call or heads up about delays, zero communication. I showed up to my appointment on time, waited 20 minutes to only be told that the nail tech is on her way. If a customer has made an appointment well in advance, then figure out your time management like a normal adult. Very poor customer service. Will never be returning.

I went here in Dec 2023 as I was looking for a new nail salon. I was taken care of by Emmie and I must say she did a fantastic job with my nails. I got a full set bio gel and got a red colour for the holidays. She took her time and my nails look beautiful. Will be a regular here going forward.

Mai always does an amazing job on my mani and pedi. She is so meticulous and takes her time so that you are happy with the result. No shortcuts. Mai is invested in making sure you walk out the door happy.

Lana and her team are amazing! So attentive and caring. It’s my one stop salon. Brows, waxing, lashes and nails.
I see Lan for all my lash needs and Julie always makes my nails look flawless and PERFECT. They now have an online booking system which makes booking your appointment so quick and easy. They’ve been around for nearly 20 years and you can see why with their professionalism and expertise.

I have been coming to Lan Dai for years! Lana is an expert at brow threading/waxing. I also see Anna for manicures/pedicures, she is also very skilled and precise. Truly recommend this spot for local spa needs!

Lana is really amazing at what she does. Brazilian wax was extremely detailed- she did an amazing job, and she moves really quickly so you aren’t in a lot of pain. Its over before you know it. She also did a really great job fixing my nails for me and gave me exactly what I asked for. She’s really skilled and takes pride in her work. Will be making this my go-to spot from now on.

I always get my mani pedi here. I love the ladies here every single one of them! Great service every time. And they’re very fast if you’re pressed for time you will be done quickly! Also they have a lot of selection of different colours. Never disappointed. Also get my eyebrows done here. Always a pleasure and I love the cleanliness of this salon as well

Hard to say how I feel about this nail spot, I’ve had good and bad experiences here.
I would say try it for yourself and decide as it’s hard to decide how I feel about it.
Their work isn’t bad but it’s also not like the best. Sometimes you get sexy nails and some times they break a few days after getting them done.
I’ve had to go home and file my nails or fix the shape lol
Like the two ladies I’ve had weren’t bad and have a lot of potential to be honest.
The base work is amazing but when you get to nail polish application part it gets tricky lol

Nice salon and good work on my pedicure. Although many nail techs speak another language, the owner was speaking and looking at me. I was casually dressed because I work from home but I just didn’t feel comfortable there.

I get shellac and acrylic manicures as well as shellac pedicures here. I can’t say enough good things. The manicures I get are like a magician has done them. And it’s always a pleasure to see the staff there. Cannot recommend enough! A+!

They do not sterilize their equipment. I read this location does not sterilize their equipment. Upon asking for the equipment to be sterilized / for the nails not to be cut down they were rude & refused to do my nails. Will never return. They do not care for customer experience & just treat customers like cattle to grab cash from. The owner cannot help but lie through their teeth in order to justify their actions.

The worst place! They just want money over customer service. No honesty whatsoever

We walked into the nail salon and it looked busy so we were going to head out and find another place. But they were like we are done choose your colour and have a seat we Will be with you. We were 3 people, 20 minutes of sitting around and then they called one of us to take a seat. Another 20 minutes later they call the second person (40 min of waiting for that person by now), then they tell her to soak her foot in and they will be there soon and 15 min passes by and no one came, at this point the 3rd person is still waiting. No one came to the second person still so we ended up telling her to just take her feet out of the water and leave. So the 2nd and 3rd person didn’t even get pedicures.

If they are busy they just need to be honest and say they will need some time rather than lie and make you wait.

Lan is amazing highly recommended she always does great design clean environment great service will never change my nail lady love her?

I have been a client for over ten years ' It is clean number one! Great staff and when I call I always get an apt. I even bring my 90 year old Mom and they are so loving and careful with her! Highly recommend their salon.nails got weak with age.everyone is good but I go to Lana most of the time

My favorite place! I always get VIP treatment and Lana is fast and efficient allowing me to be in and out within my lunch hours.

Lan Dai is the only reason why I still have gel nails on

I’ve been a faithful client for over a decade for manicures, pedicures, waxing, and threading. Top notch service! Lana is the best, along with all her staff. Super clean and professional. Highly recommend!

I got my nails done here once (excellent job!) but I frequent this location for the best eyebrow threading around!

We did not have an appointment for a pedicure, but instead we did a walk in for 3 people. We were assured that we would be seated soon, as they were close to finishing up a few of the pedicures. My cousin was asked to sit in the chair for the pedicure with her feet in the water, but she was waiting for 15 minutes for someone to come to her to do the pedicure. I was also seated in the waiting area and was waiting for 40 minutes. They should have let us know if they were at full capacity or given a more accurate waiting time. I would have not waited for 40 minutes if I knew that time from the beginning when we entered. They are more concerned about business. I will not be returning back.

For all your aesthetic needs. Lan Dai does it all. Wonderful, pleasant staff and Lana does the best eyebrow threading. This was my go to mani+pedi spot, until I moved to the east-end of Toronto. However I do still frequent the place when I’m in the area. They are very accommodating with my last minute appointments, which I appreciate so much. If you’re in the west-end / Queensway area and are in need of nails & spa treatment, don’t think twice of getting anything done. Treat yourself and let Lan Dai do the rest.

There are so many clean and reputable places in town that know how to do beautiful nails and how to treat their customers. Don’t waste your time and money at this place. Simply awful.

My daughter went in for a full set acrylic with shellac. She asked the nail tech to cut them short and she told her she would have to charge her extra. What? Did not even clean the cuticles. So she slapped on the nails threw on some colour (not even the right one) and charged her over $60. ($10 more than last time for the same service). When asked for a refund she told me that if I wanted our money back she would have to take off her nails. Wow! She was angry and offended I called her nail job disgusting. Truth hurts I guess. She had a big mouth and nasty attitude. Never seeing another dime from us again.

I’ve gotten my eyebrows, underarms, and full legs waxed by Lana two times already. Lana is so kind and ensures that you are comfortable before starting and during the treatment! Definitely going to continue to see Lana! ️

Ive been coming here to get my nails done since i was a kid! Have always loved the huge variety of services they offer, and they never disappoint! They have the sweetest staff too ️️

The salon appears to be neat and clean. Staff are attentive. However, I do not recommend waxing here as they do double dipping. I came and asked for Brazilian wax. My waxing lady was nice enough to take her time to do the service. I wasn’t paying attention and just trusted the process. But half way through, I realized she only used one waxing stick for the whole thing. Literally freaking out but I had no choice as it’s already half done. I then asked her how often they changed the waxing pot. She said once a day. But how could it be sanitary and safe if you change the pot once a day and do double dipping, especially for the private parts. Just cross my fingers and hope they don’t use the same pot for bikini and eyebrows waxing. I can’t imagine

Great experience getting bikini wax by Lana. It wasn't as painful as it usually is (already was in twice), she is very professional and knowledgeable on how it needs to be done. Thank you Lana and Lan Dai Nails & Spa!

I’ve been here twice. The first time my nail tech was a little rough but I decided to give the place another shot. I had a different nail tech this time and she was SO rough. The worst experience I’ve ever had getting my nails done! Every finger has a cut! If you see that you are cutting your client and there is BLOOD…. Why would you continue to be careless?

Kathy has done my nails a few times & her designs and shape are always complete perfection. She’s great and very accommodating. Definitely recommend!

This is my favourite nail salon in the GTA, I go to Kathy, all the time and she’s honestly a gem! I love her work and my nails are always beautiful

Usually love all the ladies here and my experience is always great, but the last two times I’ve had Crystal do my shellac manicure, i leave with my nails so noticeably streaky.

I’ve seen Kathy from Landai nail salon multiple times and she never disappoints! She is amazing at designs and the shape is always flawless. All the staff are so friendly and it’s always a good time going there, my mom saw Rosie for a massage and she loved it. I will never go anywhere else:)

I had an appointment here last week, the 13th before the appointment like I do all appointments, I confirmed the price. I was first told $55 for a mani and pedi with shelac and then told $60 the night before when I wanted to confirm the price. 60? Cool.

At the end of the appointment I was charged $75 plus tax which came up to close to $90, about $87. When I tried to show the owner text messages and DMs and explain, she ignored me and attempted to rush me out. Feeling embarrassed I paid and left. RIGHT AFTER I LEFT, I sent her screenshots of texts and DMs of the price SHE CONFIRMED.

She tried to tell me to come back and get $15 because she felt I was tense. What a c****n. Tense how? For attempting to prove we had a set price? I didnt even go back for the 15, she needed it bad enough, she could keep it. Let me note, during the pandemic I got a set of nails, and a pedi and paid $100. WHY THE HELL WOULD I PAY almost $90 FOR A MANI AND PEDI WITH SHELAC! Never going to them again, hope that $15 was worth this review.

EDIT: Based on her response, let me add this. Far too often BW just speaking up for themselves allows non BW like this one here to tell us we are tense, we need to find peace, we are aggressive. All for sticking up for themselves. This is a tactic I will no longer tolerate.

How would I need peace when I never raised my voice? Was never confrontational, nothing? HA! Those reading her response will get what I mean. PLEASE BW, YOUR MONEY IS BETTER ELSEWHERE. While she hopes I find peace for simply asking about our agreed upon price, I pray she develops better business practices. Her reviews and her responses to them speak for itself.

I have never gotten compliments on my nails before coming to lan dai.the most skilled nail art and the most natural looking bio-gel nails i've ever seen.obsessed is an understatement.

I got a shellac manicure done on friday, i made a appointment for 6pm, the lady started my nails at 630pm. 1 of the nail techs had her mask under her chin, ridiculous of the clear barrier, very unprofessional. The lady that did my nails was obviously rushing, my nails all had different shapes, the nail polish was on my cuticles and the sides of some nail has no nail polish. Its now Monday and 3 of my nails are chipped. 2 days later and they are chipping so ridiculous I paid $35 for the service and $5 tip. Do not reccomend.

Easily made a same-day appointment for pedicures for my husband and I. It was our first time at this salon. Excellent service and both technicians were outstanding. We're both very pleased. We'll definitely be back!

I have been going to Lan Dai Nails & Spa for close to ten years now. Lana and her team go above and beyond to provide quality spa services at an affordable price in the GTA. I highly recommend this spa!

This is an amazing and high quality salon. I’ve watched them evolve and grow into a very high quality establishment over the years. I’ve had pretty much every service done here and I will always go back because I trust them! Always leave Lan Dai nails feeling more beautiful and put together than before. I see people leaving negative comments about post pandemic adjustments, and I am shocked that after independent businesses have been forced to close for MONTHS people could show so little understanding. So proud of them for making through these terrible times and look forward to many years of supporting a Toronto borne and grown salon.

I have been coming to this place before the lock down and it was just ok. I came back yesterday and now I have the nicest nails in Toronto.

I can honestly say the blonde Sarah is one of the best nail techs I have ever dealt with. Super friendly and sweet. She gave me exactly what I wanted. Her customer service is above and beyond and I will be booking with her again!

Great service, large selection of colours and service for nails. Always friendly and books your appointments at or as close to the time preferred.

I have been going to this salon with my mum for over 10 years. Always the best staff, so kind and friendly. The technicians do an excellent job and always make great recommendations. Would recommend 10 /10

Usually I love this place. Not today. Not post pandemic. Over booked. Substantial increase in cost and substancial decrease in service. I waited an hour for my appointment and I think she spent 15 minutes on my feet and 7 minutes on my fingers. No polish, as I didnt want any. Sorry Lana you have lost a customer you have had for 10 years

Extremely clean and comfortable environment, Lana never disappoints with waxing services or nails. Very happy that they reopened can’t wait for my next visit

It took me too many tries to find the perfect eyelash technician for me. Lan is a perfectionist - she’s extremely knowledgeable and very accommodating. She has this technique to make your eyes look natural yet glamorous. Many people have commented that my eyelashes look great but they don’t look like extensions because Lan does such a great job!

I’ve been going to see Lan for over 3 years and no one else is allowed touching my lashes. I love my lashes
