AVOID. Either they're clueless amateurs at diagnostics or are scamming liars. Did several unnecessary, costly 'repairs' that never solved the problem. Check engine light & same error code kept reappearing after a day or two. Spent a few grand for nothing back in 2017-18. Then thankfully found an honest, KNOWLEDGEABLE mechanic elsewhere in Burlington who knew right away what the issue was & swiftly repaired it on the first go. Told me he's corrected A LOT of this shop's many other dissatisfied customers' vehicles.
Really should have filed a small claims court action against these clowns, am peeved for not taking the time to do so.
I have used Lancaster Auto for over 30 years. Although I tend to buy new cars, all my maintenance, oil changes and tires are done by Lancaster, I only return to the dealer for warranty items
I called quite a few places to price new winter tires for my new car. Lancaster offered the best value by far. The process was quick and seamless. After I left the shop, I discovered a vibration once I got on the highway. A quick call later and they rectified the issue right away. I am one very happy customer.
I have been coming to Lancaster’s for years because I trust them implicitly. They’re honest about what does or doesn’t need to be done to the car. They will patiently answer questions and help with anything, no matter how small. The staff are all friendly and I like the fact that it’s a family business.
I took my Acura MDX for wheel alignment last Wednesday November 23rd. I am not satisfied with the job this shop did. They said my rear one of the wheels alignment is off, and I need to have a $ 400 kit to get it adjusted. Before they took the job in, the shop never called me and told me that they did not have the right equipment to adjust the wheels. They went ahead and did the what they could and charged me the full cost of alignment $ 109. As result I am left with a car which veers to a side (with potential for uneven tread wear) and I have pay another over $ 100 for another wheel alignment. I was expecting them to call me and let me know before they took the job in. The shop did not do that (I left the car in shop as it is working day). I am going to complain about this shout to Better Business Bureau. I feel I was charge the full amount for a half job.
Always had a great experience here - I trust them and the work they do, and have always preferred to give them the business as a result. They give better more transparent service than I’ve ever received through the dealership.
I always use Lancaster for our vehicles for both purchasing new tires and then swapping between all seasons and winter tires. Booking is easy and the work done well and on time. Also, they dont overcharge!

Communication was via central office and local dealer. Correspondence was not customer friendly. They didn't address me by name and replied in all CAPS. Felt like a number not a customer. Ended up buying elsewhere.
