After following Lara for more than a year, I leapt. I had great brows done years earlier which turned blue after a bad touchup. With Lara, we started again.removed the old and she put in new. Because of the fading that lasers do, Lara also happily did two touch-ups to ensure I was completely happy with my brows. She was very exacting and I'm thrilled. They look natural and can be made up as needed. Waking in the morning having something to frame my eyes is amazing.

Lara and Caitlyn are INCREDIBLE! I would absolutely recommend permanent make up with these two amazing women. They are true artists, and make the entire experience feel safe and comfortable. I absolutely love the end result!

Her approach to colour is to be a bit conservative with the first session so they may be lighter than expected but after the second session they are perfect. I went to Lara Jade Beauty and saw Caitlyn for a lash line enhancement. Everything was AMAZING. The new studio is stunning, warm, inviting, clean, etc. Caitlyn was so professional, made me feel so comfortable, and did an incredible job. I got the lash line enhancement because I have fine hair (resulting in thinner lashes) and had always felt self conscious. My first visit we went conservative to start and if I wanted more we would build at my touch-up appointment. Caitlyn was so attentive and kept checking in on me - there was zero pain, everything was amazing. At my touch-up appointment we both agreed I could use a bit more and I am THRILLED with the end result. I can't recommend LJB enough - they are truly the best!

I had a wonderful experience with Lara and Caitlyn last week. They are friendly, professional, and super talented. My powder brows done by Lara have a natural but perfected shape and colour, and my lip blush done by Caitlyn is the exact beautiful hue I was hoping for. The studio space is beautiful! I got my brows cleaned and shaped by Alanna, and she did such a good job! She was very friendly and professional, and she really took her time to make my brows look as I wanted them. 100% recommended!

I was going to wait until after my 6 week touch up appointment to leave a review, just so I could talk about the whole experience, but as I’m on vacation staring at my brows in the mirror in awe every morning, I thought “why not now? ”!

Wow wow wow, where do I start? First of all, both the salon and Lara are amazing - the place is soooo cute, great aesthetic, and any place with a pet mascot is 10/10 for me (Hi Sumo!) Lara is also the best, so welcoming and kind and so incredibly talented! She makes sure she knows exactly what you want and also gives her opinion on what she looks with look the best on you. To decide where I was gonna get my brows done, I followed a bunch of PMU artists on IG and whenever they posted work I didn’t particularly like or thought it just wouldn’t be a good fit for me, I slowly unfollowed them one by one until one final unknowing contestant remained, Lara - and I still continued to follow for about another year until I finally booked an appointment. If you’ve seen her work on Instagram you know how incredibly talented she is (I was following before she even learned how to do areola tattoos, and have you seen them? Stunning!)

Now let’s get into the brows - for context, I’ve had super light, kinda thin, scantily clad brows since I was a wee lass, and they seem even more light/unnoticeable because I have dark skin. I quite literally have been drawing brows on my face everyday for over 15 years, so at this point you can call me Picasso. I’ve wanted to get them done ever since I knew micro blading/powder brows even existed, but wanted to make sure it was the right place and most importantly, the right artist. I have oily skin so I got powder brows, not microblading, for context. With that said, MY NEW EYEBROWS ARE PERFECT! They are everything I’ve ever wanted and never knew I could have - the shade is perfect, the shape is perfect and I wasn’t kidding, everyday when I wake up in the morning I stare at my brows in awe, smiling like a weirdo. She even gives you a little aftercare kit with super clear instructions, to set the expectation of what the healing process is like.

Okay this is already a dissertation at this point so I’ll just end it by saying, if you’re unsure about getting your brows done or especially about getting them done by Lara, don’t be. Go to the booking page immediately, make an appt, and you too can wake up to perfect brows every morning! 100/10 would recommend.

Lara Jade beauty, is the place to go for your beauty needs. The team is beyond talented, they not only beautify me externally but also internally. I love my new brows! They look enhanced, yet natural. I’ve received compliments and people are stunned to learn that they’re microbladed. Getting this done has saved me time and effort from having do fill in my brows daily, and they look great!

I was surprised when the pay machine prompted me to leave a gratuity at the end of the service. The service is costly (understandably so), but I wasn’t really sure what the tip was for. I still left a tip and would recommend Lara to anyone wanting enhanced brows.

Lara, is an amazing artist and I am very happy with how my brows turned out. I am scheduled for my touch for the final look and I'm very excited to be able to go without the use of any brow pencil. During my visit, Lara made me feel very comfortable and had elevated any of my anxiety. Lara is absolutely AMAZING. I love her approach to permanent makeup. She really focuses on subtle and natural enhancements and honestly, her work caught my eye because she was the only artist out there doing permanent makeup extremely natural. I had never seen anything like it. I reached out to her when I was feeling a bit discouraged, so I drove 5 hours to shadow her for the day. At one point I felt like giving up, but she helped me gain the confidence I needed to get back into it and my work has never been better. I’ve trained with many artists from all over Canada but most of them would ghost me after my training, or wouldn’t give me the support or attention I needed to succeed. I learned more in one day shadowing Lara, than I did in a two day hands-on training with other artists. That says a lot. Lara always answers my questions, even months after shadowing her and I can tell she genuinely wants to help. We need more artists like Lara in our industry. She is the best of the best!

I've seen Lara for my eyebrows at a different location and now Caitlyn at Lara's studio for my lash line. Both of them were so friendly, professional and helpful. Both were so good about ensuring my comfort and making sure my questions were all answered.

They also made sure to advise me using all their experience, which made my brows and liner come out way better than I could have predicted!

I really love the new space, it's super comfortable and clean. The washroom wallpaper collage is awesome.
