I’ve been here a few times but will not go again as I have the same experience each time. The doctor is condescending, rude, and just prescribes something generic without really listening to the issue I’m describing. I truly wonder if they read these reviews because it seems that most people have had the same experience, I would be embarrassed if I were running this clinic.
I did not wait long to see a doctor. Very fast. The doctor I saw really nice and very educated. The diagnosis that the doctor gave me is uncommon, but he was right and now I feel much better.
I've visited this clinic multiple times for myself and my children. The staff are efficient and prompt. Well run. Dr. Zaidi is always very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. Treatment is excellent. He takes time to explain everything well. We've never had any issues. Highly recommend!
If you're going to close early, answer your phone or update patients through voicemail or your website so we don't travel across Sudbury to find out you're closed as early as 2PM. Gas is expensive and it is INCONVENIENT.
I will never go to this clinic. The receptionist actions clearly told me that she really didn't want to be there.
The Doctor. I mentioned that I no longer had a Family Physician and without giving the opportunity to tell him why I mentioned that
He looked at me while he's giving me the injection I was there for
He chuckled and said "So"?
I will say not say more because I am following through on his comment towards "SOMEONE in the medical field" that was disrespectful, degrading, insulting about a very highly respected, and highly qualified and a definite asset to Sudbury's health care. Then he walked out the room.
He didn't care. I was angry and discouraged. I am trying my best to save someone else to have to go through this awful experience.
Because my health card was expired by couple days I was refused so the receptionist was rude. Doctors don't seem they know anything they just prescribe pain medication and push you out the door. I'm never going to Lasalle clinic again.
Recently, while visiting Sudbury, I had the misfortune of developing an ear infection. The pain and swelling were incredible. I attended the Lasalle Walk-in Clinic and received amazing treatment with very short wait times. Initially I saw Dr. Zaidi and then was followed up with Dr. Harris. Everyone from the receptionists, to the doctors and pharmacy attendants were pleasant and helpful. Thank you, everyone!
Unfortunately I need to say this sad news 1. This clinic does not care for patients you are not allowed to come for two things only one thing per visit in 72 h (Hmm does this have with charging OHIP hmmm) 2. Beside this they send you to worst doctors if you get referrals. Other wise if they are calling doctor you will not be able to get retirement because you will be gone before you get call. 3. You can't call them 4. You must shut up and apologize to them for your pain and sickness you have so wasting their time. 5. Be fast because when doctor enters room will be fast ride no time for question 6. How ever thay is one doctor that is nicer and willing to hear you bit and is closer to me so will go just because of him 7. Almost forgot some how lab results gets lost on way to them Hmm Is this just my luck!
Very rude. Deblacam, Zaidi, and Thomas- I wouldn't see these doctors if you paid me. Now that I'm aware this clinic is.privately owned by Deblacam and Zaidi I will never go back. I was also turned away despite having a valid ontario health card- its the old red and white one, however still valid and taken everywhere else.
Receptionist is always pleasant and organized.always willing to be helpful. Doctors are thorough understanding and capable. No one likes going to the clinic, but if you have to.choose wisely
As others have mentioned, THEY DO NOT SERVE OUT OF PROVINCE patients. Other Province health cards not accepted. Very poor acceptance of our national health care system. This should be noted on their website before people waste their time going here.
The Receptionist was really nice. I was impressed with how quickly patients were being seen and how small the wait time was especially considering the waiting room was almost full. I waited under an hour maybe 30 or 45 mins. I have seen multiple doctors for my chronic pain and have been brushed off by most. The doctor at this clinic heard me, addressed my concerns appropriately and thoroughly, requested that I come back to ensure i recieved the care i need and, validated my pain. I have never felt so much relief after going to a clinic.
The doctor that I had walked in and out. I walked out of there the same as when I walked in. Not super impressed with the “rushed” doctors at this location.
I was refused medical care (after a minor complication post op) simply because I am a born and raised Canadian with a valid health card from another Canadian province. I had to argue my rights to healthcare in my own country and was still denied. This clinic told me to go to emerge when this was not an emergency worthy visit. I went to a different clinic a few blocks away (within superstore) and was seen no problem. I was given the medical I required. This is NOT acceptable.
Probably one of the best walk-in’s I have visited in over 15 years. Staff were nice and quickly down to business. For me it was roughly a 30-45 min wait time when I came in around 10: 30 for a less serious issue, appointment was very quick and the pharmacy on site is very convenient. I would recommend it for people without a primary care provider or experiencing a long wait time for an appointment.
Though i give a 4 star. I base that on 2 doctors. Joseph & Thomas i believe the names? The other doctor i saw there had issues with not 1 but both meds the 2 other doctors had prescribed. Non opioid. Im there because no family doctor. And i was in a car accident on Dec 15th. Creamed at a red light. Injured to the point i need orthopedic surgery on my shoulder. So refusing to prescribe me anything. I asked him what to do until i can see one of the other doctors a week later? And he got offended when i put him to the question. As if i had no rught to ask. Told him that the dr's there need to communicate. When doing the right thing becomes the wrong thing. Thats crazy. Not the patients fault the medical community has misgivings about certain medications. We didn't create the mess BIG PHARMA has out here. But it don't.mean that we don't need the treatment best suited for an individual because of it. Not everyone is up to no good. Suffering in a country like ours is unnecessary. Plus i don't believe that when they swore to their oath as doctors. It said anything about treating only those in need of cold medicine or diabetes stuff etc.
