I think there's a reason why there are nearly 400 5-star reviews. Like everyone with Lasik says, I don't know why I didn't do this sooner. The staff were all incredibly helpful, pleasant, and available to answer any questions. The procedure itself was incredibly quick, and the recovery was completely painless. From start to finish, I couldn't be more impressed.

Couldn't have been more pleased with my experience at London's LASIK MD. I was pretty nervous about getting the procedure done since I've had corrected lenses for 22+ years and my prescription was over -8, but every single staff member I dealt with - from my initial arrival, first consultation, pre-op consultation, and operation, were all amazing in being informative, reassuring, confident and honest.

I went here for vision correction last month. It went smoothly and I couldn’t of asked for a better outcome! It's only been 2 days since my surgery. I had a great experience. Staff were very nice. I was told to expect to be there 2-3 hours but I ended up being there 4.5 hours. The surgery itself was not painful. The doctor explains every step during the procedure. I will say that the pain afterwards is more then is lead on. I was told it feels like sand in your eyes but it's more like gravel. I could barely open my eyes for the rest of the evening. I will add that I did have the advance surgery due to thin corneas which I was told afterwards causes more irritation. I don't regret it at all and would do it again in a second!

Went in for my laser eye surgery this past Friday and was the best decision I made it was so quick and easy everyone was so welcoming and kind and it helped me to feel less nervous about going into such a big procedure, during the procedure I surprisingly didn’t feel a thing other than a little pressure for a quick couple seconds and it was over, the next day during my post op check up they said that my vision was ahead of schedule which really made me feel excited! I would definitely recommend laser eye surgery to anyone who’s curious to get it!

Great experience from beginning to end!

I am 39 and had surgery to correct near-sightedness after 30 years of wearing glasses everyday! I had no complications, pain or problems.

On my first appointment, Katarina was a pro and took all my eye measurements quickly and smoothly.

Trif checked my eyes both for the prescription and for any conditions which might prevent my surgery and also did a great job. He was so personable and relaxed. He really made me feel comfortable and answered all of my questions in a kind and easy way.

Alyssa then met with me to go over pricing with me and also did a fantastic job explaining my options as far as procedures. It was so clear and I feel like she was very experienced and knowledgeable. She also easily answered very technical questions and seemed very experienced.

On surgery day, another professional named Josh double-checked that my eyes were correctly measured and that nothing had changed with the health of my eyes or my choices. He did an excellent job clarifying fine details about the procedure. He made me feel confident about the process and not worried about anything.

My surgeon was Dr. Johnson, who was also very professional, kind and upbeat in our brief final check before my 10 minute surgery. So fast and easy! I was very pleased to head home and take a nice nap with a bag full of eye drops which I dutifully used as instructed.

I was comfortably using my eyes and feeling normal about 24 hours later. The only downside for me was very bright red bruises on my eyes which lasted 10 days. They were not pretty, but didn’t hurt.

On a follow-up call a few weeks later, I spoke to Dr. Kyveris. She was likewise very personable, understanding and offered logical and satisfying answers to a few of my questions.

Overall, I am very satisfied and thank the staff at London Lasik for their job well done! Thank you all!

My experience at LASIK MD has been exactly as I had hoped and would expect. I have only had immediate replies, incredible service, and a genuine care from them at each point of interaction. There are worries with this type of procedure, as there are with any, but rest assured their team will do everything to make you feel comfortable. Could not recommend going through with laser corrective surgery more. I had my procedure back in December of 2018 and it was the best decision I ever made.

Worth every penny. I got the Custom Wavefront Lasik, and according to the tests I did after it I had better than 20/20 vision which is really awesome. This is lifechanging stuff.

I had a bit of an astigmatism and a light prescription for my glasses, the cost of the normal Lasik was around $2300, but I splurged on the Custom Wavefront with the warranty touch ups package which was around $4300. Now while this was a lot of money, the way I look at it is people spend this much money on "premium car interior packages" etc and this is a truly lifechanging personal upgrade. There were so many experiences I had with my new eyes, like my first winter looked sooo crisp and beautiful. The procedure is very freaky, but only lasts for a few minutes

Update: It's a little over 1 year after the surgery, my eyes still get dry and will hurt a bit/ feel sore until I put eye drops in occasionally. It's slowly getting better and better though. I would do it again

I had a Lasik surgery in Sept. I had high prescription in my eyes and I am 49 years old. After surgery, my vision is 20/20 and I don't mind to wear the reading glasses. My surgery was done on Thursday, September 16th at the Kitchener office. Even prior to my appointment, I received a friendly call from Katie to let me know the details of my appointment and what to expect for the day. She seemed to share my enthusiasm-she was excited for me!

When I arrived at LASIK I was greeted by Rhoda, who was extremely friendly and made me feel at ease. She completed my tests in a professional and friendly manner.

Next I saw Francis who was also very friendly and professional. He was enthusiastic about his work and he was pleased to share the news that I was eligible for LASIK. He made me feel excited and prepared for the procedure.

Then I got to meet with Alyssa, who is wonderful at her job! It felt like I was talking to a friend or family member. She explained the LASIK process and how to take care of my eyes after surgery.

My surgery was performed by Dr. Hakim, who was amazing. He is very approachable and down to earth. He made me feel comfortable throughout the entire procedure and explained what he was doing in a calm and comforting manner. He made me feel confident and well cared for during the procedure.

My 24-hour follow-up was in London, where I ran into a familiar face from the day before. Micah, who worked with Dr. Hakim during my procedure went out of his way to say hi to me and check in on me while I waited. It was very kind of him and above and beyond.

I met with Triff in London for my 24-hour check up, and again, received amazing service. He celebrated my new sight with me and was so friendly. He explained what to expect in the coming days and weeks in a professional way, and made sure I was recovering well.

Just for reference I am 1 day post op, and opted for the standard op, laser. I'm so happy I decided to get this done, I am healing so well. The system they've set up is great, I had my consultation and the whole team was great, happy, welcoming and willing to answer all my questions. I also want to note that I was a bit hesitant, we all know what it is like to be treated like a number and I wanted to be able to ask any questions and not feel forced to do something I didn't feel was right for me. This was the complete opposite of what I got, everything was tailored to me and the health of my eyes was the priority, I went in and had dry eyes which is not ideal, I was promptly put on drops and was given a few weeks for that to clear up. Luckily my eyes were well enough to proceed but I felt supported throughout, I had the doctor look at my eyes the week before my surgery and got the ok. At that check-up I was given an opportunity yet again to ask any questions and I didn't feel rushed at all and felt sure that I was doing the right thing. I was walked through the process the day of surgery and told what to expect. The day of surgery I was given clear directions on my drops schedule after surgery and how I was going to feel as well as after care and how promptly I could return to regular activities. Suffice to say by the time my surgery came around I felt so ready, the process was quick and easy, normally I'm anxious getting my blood taken, but this was such a reassuring process that I felt fine throughout which definitively was a concern for me due to hating medical procedures. The whole team was amazing and really efficient. Even as the surgery was being performed I was being reassured and talked through all the steps which really really helped any anxiety I was feeling, it was over before I knew it and provided with numbers beforehand if anything happened or I had any concerns so I felt confident in my at home recovery. I cannot emphasize enough how friendly, welcoming and kind the London team is. I knew I was in good hands from the beginning of the process. For anyone considering LASIK this is definitely the place to go, even if you want to go for a consultation and not feel pressured I highly recommend.

Life changing! Now I can see greatly without my glasses! Operation was quick and easy! Only downside was dry eyes for a few months but nothing that my eye drops that were prescribed didn’t help! 3 years in and I wish I went in earlier! Had my Lasik surgery done this past Friday. I surely had a great experience at the clinic. Due to Covid, my initial assessment was done virtually, and the person I spoke with was great! She explained everything with great detail and patience, and answered all my questions. The day of surgery was much better than I had expected. I was obviously nervous but I was provided with great reviews by my friends who had also done their surgery at this location. Janelle was such a great help, and she made the whole experience great for me - can't thank her enough! Josh did all the tests and helped me stay calm by explaining things in great detail. Dr. Johnson was spectacular as well - the actual surgery was super quick, and he explained each step as it was happening. I am not a local and made the drive to London for this, and it was totally worth it. The entire staff was amazing! My vision is now 2020 and my astigmatism is corrected. What a huge difference this has made! I had same after effects as they explained - discomfort, dry eyes, adjusting vision - all in my first week. It should clear up soon, as it is improving every day for me. Love not having to wear glass or contacts anymore!

I just had my Lasik surgery done this past Friday, and I could not be happier with the results and the experience. During the pre-operative consultation the surgical assistant, Katarina, made sure to thoroughly explain all the tests and the processes and made me feel very welcomed! Overall, I found everyone working at the clinic to be very friendly, which made the whole experience all the better. Josh, the technician, was also very thorough when he was checking my prescription and candidacy. It was really helpful that he explained what tests he was doing and why they were relevant for the surgery. The clinical counsellor, Alyssa, did a really great job of explaining the financial aspects of the surgery and it was super helpful to be able to get all of the information I needed to plan ahead, prior to the surgery. While I was a little bit anxious about the actual surgery itself, I can't believe how quick and painless it was. Everyone makes sure you understood the process really well prior to actually completing the surgery and seeing multiple people go in for the surgery and come out with absolutely no problem is super reassuring. Dr. Johnson made sure to explain everything he was doing, while he was doing it, so there was no guesswork during the surgery either. Then about two minutes later, you are done! Even though the surgery seems like it would painful, it really is only a slight discomfort for a few seconds and then you are done and can read the clock you couldn't even see before! I went back the next day for my check-in appointment and now have 20/20 vision! 100% worth it. I was also able to return to my office job this Monday with absolutely no problems. I can't stop talking about how great it is to be able to wake up and see. I am so glad I went through with the surgery and it is definitely the best investment I have ever made!

I had a great experience! My sister in law and I went in together, English is a second language for her and she needed someone to help with translation. They were so accommodating to our situation. If you can find a friend or family member to have it done with it definitely helps with the nerves. After wearing glasses for 26 years, and having 20/20 vision 24 hours later was amazing. Will definitely tell everyone I know about my experience. No more fogged up glasses with a mask!

I had my laser eye surgery done at this clinic two weeks ago! Everything about the procedure was amazingly less scary than I thought it would be. The discomfort (not pain) of the procedure is unbelievably bearable. The staff there are phenomenal at making patients comfortable that are quite nervous as I was. Discomfort after the procedure lasted 5 days with every day better than the previous day. I didn't recall anyone mentioning that significant discomfort would last that long, but otherwise I knew what to expect. I did call in when it lasted past day 3 and they were very informative and helpful then. Overall, would definitely recommend!

Process was simple, surgery was quick and easy with minimal discomfort, zero pain, the staff are so friendly and willing to help accomidate your needs, quick recovery with amazing results, i cant believe how quickly i was able to see after my surgery and how fast the recovery was!

I had my lasik surgery 4 days ago. I was super nervous as getting your eyes lasered is not something one would do for fun but I have to say the team at Lasik MD did such an amazing job! They explained and walked me through everything I could expect (had they not done that, I think it would have been very easy to panic) The process went well from start to finish. You would think after performing 1 million surgeries like this would make one a bit careless after a while but nope, not here. They treated me as if I was their first. So gentle and respectful. The first 12 hours is very uncomfortable but the healing process is so amazingly fast!
