I am so happy I chose LasikMd. I went to the Vaughan location to book an appointment and Carmela at the front desk went out and beyond. I ended up doing surgery 2 days after (because someone cancelled). Everyone was polite and very professional.

I went to the Mississauga location for the operation, the whole team there was pleasant as well. I got Dr. Omar Hakim to perform my surgery, and I must tell you I'm so happy I got him. I went in nervous (check out my instagram @Thatnoiregem), he gave me Xanax and his smooth talking got me relax in no time. He walk me through every step and in less than a minute my procedure was done. I had no complications what so ever. However my eyes were a bit bruise with no pain which is totally normal. Also there was an Asian lady (I don't remember her name) who held my hands the whole time calming me down before surgery.

My eyesight before surgery was Nearsighted -4.50 left eye and -4.25 right eye, no cataract or disease. Left with 20/20 vision on my 24hr check up. Was told it will get better because my vision is still blurry. Typing this 3 days after my vision is somewhat better and clearer.

I honestly can say I got the best team and without a doubt I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

The best decision I’ve ever made.

I had my lasik surgery done a year ago at the Mississauga location, and have been coming to the Vaughan location for my check ups.

The surgery itself was a breeze, there’s not much to say honestly, because it really was that quick. The waiting room was the longest part, they offered some calming drugs right before I went in, which I gladly took lol, but they definitely calmed me, and the surgery itself felt like 2 minutes. I was nervous from hearing stories, but can confirm- no strong burning smells, or anything traumatic!

My vision was horrible before, nearly -7.0. And I can confirm as of 5 minutes ago, that a year later my vision is STILL better than 2020.

Not needing to reach for my glasses in the morning, scrambling to find them, swimming within being worried my contacts will get washed away,

“oh, we’re an hour away from home and we’ve decided to stay the night” NO PROBLEM, because I don’t need to go home to grab my contact solution, case, and glasses.

It’s all the little things that have made such a profound difference in my life.

I would also like to personally thank Carmela, she works the front desk at the Vaughn location, and she has the absolute best energy about her! So kind and helpful, and quite honestly exactly the type of person that should be the face of an institution.

I actually mixed up my LASIK MD locations, and came to the wrong one. The lovely administrative staff, Carmella, quickly moved things around for me and I was able to get assessed right there and then. All staff was friendly, informative, and I felt prepared for my next step of getting an eye surgery. Would definitely recommend LASIK MD services.

Having Lasik eye surgery is one of the best decisions I have ever made! I have been glasses-free for over 5 years now, and my eyesight is better than 20/20! The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and the facility is extremely clean. I highly recommend!

Amazing staff, very friendly and make you feel so comfortable. Went for my consultation and booked surgery 2 weeks later. Best decision I made was to go through with surgery. It’s life changing. I just did lasik on Apr 17 at the North York location, and its been great so far! The staff and doctor were very helpful and professional and it was such an easy experience! I was able to see better already right after the lasik was done!

2 year post surgery check up. Husband and I love our Lasik eyes. I am over 60 and rarely need glasses for reading with my Mono-blended eyes. Couldn't be happier as it's been over 5 years now and all is well. Carmela and staff at Bass Pro Mill office in Vaughan so pleasant and efficient; especially since we drive in from Haliburron almost 3 hrs away. Thanks. See you in 2 years.

Dr.hakim omar and the team was very professional and hands on during surgery which is located at north york. I went to a painless experience of lifetime advance lasik eye surgery! And after one day of sleeping and restong my eyes with their recommendations my vision went to 20/20. I will surely recommend this to my family and friends!
