Got lasik 1 month ago today. Best thing I've ever done, super spooky experience, no pain during procedure, when you get home, TAKE THE NUMBING DROPS so you can comfortably nap for a few hours, had noticeable night halos for 2 weeks they're about 98% gone now, still some redness from surgery. I had mild dry eyes before getting the surgery. It has not noticeably worsened. If you are a good candidate, I would 100% recommend these folks. They also offer a full refund if eyes aren't 20/20 after 2 years. They've never had anyone go blind. Happy new year, I'm going snow boarding now!

Extremely professional and knowledgeable staff, from start to finish customer service was exceptional. Procedure was not only completely painless, it was fast and accurate. Absolutely recommend to anybody considering at least go for a consult and see what they have to say.

Awesome experience at the centre. My staff were very good at reassuring me and helping me to relax before my surgery. The results were instantaneous and once my eyes were rested properly, I could see almost better than when I wore contact lenses. Would recommend and I'm glad I got this while I'm still young so I can save money on glasses and lenses for the rest of my life.

I was really nervous about the surgery, but Dr. Poirier and the other staff were really good about talking to me and helping me calm down. When I had some concerns after my surgery, they were very responsive on the phone and with seeing me in person to check on things, and to help me with my symptoms.

Had a great experience with the Lasix MD team on princess street. Michelle, Virginia, and Dr Piorier were the main faces I saw and I will forever be grateful to. They are well versed in the procedure and I could tell I was in safe, good hands. I was extremely nervous to have surgery done and they collectively lowered my stress levels and helped me throughout each step of this process. Your peepers are in the best hands with this team. I am eternally grateful for how they treated me and made me feel safe.

I shocked the eye examiner by reading 20/20 with how wonky my eye chart was but I am so happy I got this done soooo worth it now I can drive without worrying if I am reading a sign right

My experience with Lasik has been nothing short of perfect. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure their patients are comfortable and know exactly what's going on. After the procedure they make sure you have everything you need and even call a few hours later to make sure everything is OK. I cannot recommend them enough.

Very Professional! Spent 2 hours with me on a consult checked my eyes. They found a problem with my right that my eye doctors never did. Have had it my entire life. Unfortunately it does not allow me to have the laser surgery. They charged me zero dollars for their time. I was very impressed with them and will be referring them to my friends and family!

I was very scared to get this surgery done, and Lasik MD handled me in the best way possible. Outstanding!

I was delighted by how professional and welcoming their staff is. Virginia was amazing along with the other technicians and counsellors. I've never felt rushed or unsure, but very well taken care of and each step explained in detail. Nerves are normal on the day of, but Dr. Porier was so pleasant and reassuring, I was not stressed at all. My vision was better than with my glasses/contacts already the next day. I took the custom with microkeratome. Truly worth every penny.

Edit: I'm now almost a week post surgery. I'm seeing clearer than ever. I teared up as I was looking across the skyline. I've never been able to see in such detail. Occasionally my eyes blur as I get tired later in the day. Eyes get dry sometimes but this is very minimal and I usually don't notice it.

I had my LASIK procedure done just over 2 weeks ago at the Kingston clinic, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Within the same day of the procedure I was seeing more clearly, and my vision has only improved since. Now, I don’t even give my eyes a second thought and I only experience dryness after looking at screens all day, which can be easily resolved with lubricating eye drops which were provided to me.

The staff were incredibly friendly, and helpful in explaining the ins and outs of the procedure and financial aspects. Special thanks to Tim, Jenna, Virginia and Michelle who were welcoming and attentive right from consultation to follow up appointments.

Overall I was happy with the surgery and level of care. However, the initial booking for a consult was awful. The call center seemed disorganized and the staff undertrained. After emphasizing repeatedly the right way to spell my name, they still got it wrong, so in my consult, they couldn't access my patient file. The zoom consult was also fairly unpleasant. Once you get to the actual office for testing and surgery, it's great. The building is nice, and the staff are kind and professional. The surgery went smoothly, and I knew what to expect for the recovery after. It is also cheaper than other places. It's too bad that the first impression of the business is so unpleasant.

Staff are warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Appointments are run smoothly and efficiently. Highly recommend.
