Worst experience with customer service at this place. The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. Notably, you can’t call the office number on Saturdays, which left us with some uncertainty. Despite this, we received a confirmation call for our appointment around 11 am but were not informed about the need to remove contact lenses prior to the consultation. After driving 75 km for a Saturday appointment, we were told at the last minute that the consultation couldn’t proceed because I was wearing contact lenses. This crucial information was not communicated to us earlier, leading to a complete waste of our time and effort. Even when we offered to remove the lenses and wait, our request was denied. I advise anyone booking a consultation here to be extremely thorough – ask all necessary questions and don’t expect professionalism.

I had a great experience at the Vic Park & Sheppard location. All of the techs and nurses that do the pre-op testing were lovely and efficient at their jobs. Dr. Zale who did my surgery had great bedside manners which is always great whenever you have to be in any OR. Surgery itself took less than what felt like 5 mins. I just had my follow up the next day with Johnny, who was fantastic and explained what I could expect for the long term in great detail. Overall, this location was an excellent experience for someone like myself who is typically very anxious with anything to do with my eyes.

Completely satisfied. I have gotten the surgery performed on Dec 21, today just a week later it feels perfectly healed, like not a thing was done to my eyes completely but with my vision being perfect. I had no problems with healing. All instructions are very clear. Staff and all the people in clinic were so helpful and accommodating that I even felt sorry it was done so quickly. I spent only two hours in clinic on surgery day, and about 15-20 minutes on both after-surgery check-ups. No wait whatsoever

Let me start off by saying this is the best location to go to the staff is friendly and they keep things very confidential. I would like to point out a few staff members who are the best and is an asset to the company Michelle she really goes over and beyond the call of duty and explains payment very well plus looks after her patients good, also is one of the best. Also Johnny and Suzette are the best they go over everything for your postop.and is an asset to the company as well, they genuinely care and very honest. Book your appointment today with them!

I had LASIK eye surgery done last week and went back today for a check up.
It was done by an optician named Johnny. He was very knowledgeable and thorough. Other opticians whom I met before the surgery and the day after the surgery were also very knowledgeable and nice but Johnny was extraordinary.

He took the time needed to explain post surgery experience with me. I didn't have to ask for additional explanations as he laid it all out before I even had to ask. I found it very helpful to understand why I am allowed or not allowed to do certain activities.

Overall the team here is knowledgeable and trust worthy, patient and kind.

Before the surgery, Johnny did a great job at explaining that I was a good candidate for LASIK, the different types of LASIK (blade vs.bladeless, etc.), and PRK procedure. My preference was to go with Bladeless All-Laser Custom LASIK and he agreed.

Dr. Zale Mednick and the nurse team were amazing and the procedure went smoothly. During my follow-up appointment the next day I was able to see 20/15. Dr. Mednick and the team mentioned I had a microstrae on my Left Eye but it did not impact my vision (i.e. Visually insignificant) and that it would smoothen out over time. This microstrae could have been a result of how I put my drops in after my surgery.not sure of the cause but they assured me it was nothing to worry about.

I feel truly blessed to have this type of vision. And now, 2.5 months into my procedure the microstrae naturally smoothened out. I am still able to see 20/15 with one eye at a time and 20/15 with both eyes. Although LasikMD didn't test for this. I believe I may be able to see 20/10 with both eyes. I feel like a hawk haha. Truly incredible. Thank you so much for changing my life!

I had my laser procedure done at the North York clinic about a year ago. My assessment and procedure were done on the same day and it took only about 2-3 hours. Everyone working at the clinic was so kind and the whole process was quick and painless. I’ve had no complications and my vision has been perfect. Best decision I have ever made, being able to live my life without dealing with glasses or contacts for the past year has been life changing! I can’t recommend highly enough!

The entire process with Lasik MD went extremely well. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions I had. They provide lots of information on pre/during/post surgery so you always will know what to do and expect. The surgery day went very well, no issues or complications. Posting this a day after my surgery. It was such a nerve wracking experience, but all the staff at the clinic made it less scary and even comfortable! The procedure itself was very uncomfortable, but was painless and done extremely fast - was in and out of the operation room in less than 10 minutes! I had Dr. Bashour as my surgeon and he was fantastic - very thorough and walked you through every step of the way.

I had a little embarrassing experience as although I had my phone on silent, I had an emergency bypass setting on for my partner and he accidentally called me (luckily it was when I was just about to leave the operation room and my phone didn’t ring during the actual operation itself). Definitely make sure your phone is completely turned off during the operation to avoid any possibility of your phone going off!

Everything with the surgery went great, and I was able to see as soon as I stood up from the operation table, it was surreal! So far my vision is clear and I am able to see things I couldn’t imagine without glasses/contacts. I am super happy with my results so far! The only thing I think could be improved is for the staff to ensure the information booklets are emailed out prior to surgery. I did not receive a booklet and had to ask for one the day of my surgery and I felt rushed to read through it all before my operation.

The process was so easy, and the staff was so friendly. They made me confident about the process as I was scared and anxious going into it! The only thing that didn’t go right was I asked for my post-op appointment to be at the Whitby location and instead they booked me at the North York location (north York is one hour from my house and the Whitby location is 5 minutes). I also felt rushed by the counsellor, who didn’t seem happy that I was there and rushed through the instructions of the day of instructions and post-op, and booked my post-op in the wrong location. Other then that easy process and amazing staff at the North York Lasik MD

The surgery was a no-brainer and I truly wish I had done it earlier in my life. This is the consensus most people have which I echo as well. Over and above, the team at this location in out of this world. Michelle and Johnny are a dynamic duo who really left me feeling like there is something special about the North York location. They are the reason why I didn't hesitate for a second to get the surgery done because I knew that I would be in amazing hands. Can't thank them enough and they will always be remembered!

Everyone at the North York location was amazing. So helpful with answering my questions and calmed me down before the procedure. Would definitely recommend.

I chose this location after reviewing other Lasik eye clinics and found the staff and technicians extremely helpful and informative. I did a virtual consultation as well as in office. I decided to go with LasikMD as the operations inside was very organized and I felt at ease with my decision to get my procedure there. I opted for the Advanced Custom Wavefront after reading online reviews since I drive often and don't want to have the risk of experiencing halos at night. My partner also did advanced and he experienced no issues with night driving. The day of the procedure it was a fairly organized and quick turnaround. I didn't feel it was rushed and everyone was professional, including providing me with very detailed after care procedures. I would highly recommend this clinic. Note that visitors are not allowed in the clinic due to Covid protocols so make sure to plan around timing of drop off and pickup. The location itself allows for plenty of places for your visitor to meet you afterwards.

The team did a ton to make sure I felt comfortable. I had many reservations about the process as a whole Macy and Kim made me feel comfortable both before and after the procedure. Dr. Hakim did a great job taking me through the procedure itself and making me feel as though I wasn't going through it alone. Great bedside manner. Highly recommend.

I am two days after the Lasik procedure and I am feeling good.
The staff and organization was very orderly, professional and friendly. I felt like I was in good hands. Would highly recommend!
My only want would have been to have them send the documents to read maybe a week earlier vs 2 days before - so, I had more time to read it.

All the staff is amazing they are really kind and professional. I felt confortable all the time they made me feel that I choose the best place. Also, they bring I pill to can calm my anxiety before the surgery. The only think that I can suggest is to can have the opportunity to do the surgery the same day or next day of the first appointment if the people need or want, and of course if they are ready. Even that I know that I chose the best place with best professionals. Today is my second they and now I can see the real world.:)

Loving my new eyes! Did my first consult in Whitby which was great. Booked my surgery date and in just a few short weeks I was in North York. I was given every opportunity to ask questions however I don't believe I had any as all the information was explained in great detail. Dr. Adam was amazing at explaining the procedure as he was performing it and I was able to stay calm through the whole process because of this. Follow-up the next day went well and I was deemed fit to drive however I had not achieved 20/20 just yet. Everyday since the surgery my eyesight is improving, I have reached to point where I can see just as good without glasses as I could with. Special shout out to Macy for helping me with getting a return to work from. Amazing from start to finish!

I was able to immediately get a online consultation and was provided with thorough details about my procedure and was able to book my appointment very quickly. On the day of the surgery I was promptly greeted, and my surgical counsellor informed me about the price, details of the procedure, warranty, and aftercare. The procedure itself took about 10 minutes with only minimal discomfort. I was able to go back to my normal routine after the second day and my vision is sharper than ever. I am just less than a week post opp, but my experience with Lasik MD was such an amazing positive one! The consultation was so easy to book and really helpful walking through different options and what I can expect. I was able to get a surgery appointment within a month from my consultation which was amazing.
The day of the surgery I was at the downtown location, it's a very comfortable room and the process was efficient. I was told to expect to be around 3 to 4 hours, but I was out of there within 2.
Everyone was so kind and reassuring as I was definitely pretty nervous.
The procedure itself was so quick and painless that I don't know why I waited so long to do this! I only had maybe a hour or two of discomfort after the surgery but all the drops they give really helped and lots of rest. I'm less than a week post op and do find my eyes are on the drier side especially when using screens but they are also still recovering.
Would 100% recommend this to anyone, it's already been so life changing.

One of the most encouraging and supportive surgical experiences! I was super scared because my job relies on my vision and the assistants helped guide me through questions (Johnny and Michelle were amazing so friendly and open and could tell they had a lot of experience at the clinic - answered all questions about after care, how it’ll feel, average symptoms after surgery, things to avoid, healing time and risks).

The surgeon / doctor (Doctor Mounir) was also great. I was super nervous / anxious and he gave me a relaxant and tried to make me feel as comfortable as possible and talked me through the surgery beforehand. He asked whether I wanted to be guided through the surgery and because I preferred it to be quiet did so instead. Super informative and supportive team! Great experience

I got Lasik two days ago and everything from start to finish was so smooth. My vision is amazing only two days in and the best part was that each eye was only $490 as advertised on the site. Blew my mind. Thanks everyone at LasikMD! You guys rock.

Had a really great overall experience at LASIK (I’m now on day two, post-op). All the technicians were super friendly and helpful, calming my nerves that had set in on the day of the surgery. Johnny was certainly my favourite of the techs, who answered all my questions and eased concerns I didn’t even realize that I had. He was also the follow-up tech at my 24-hour follow-up the next morning and was equally friendly!

Michelle (who did my intake forms and took payment) was SO friendly, too. She also put my mind at ease, which was very much appreciated.

When it came to the surgery, I found the folks in the OR weren’t *as* friendly, but we’re nice enough. Dr Robert Adam performed my surgery and walked me through it. The suction on my eyes was a lot more painful than they had made it out to sound prior to the surgery, but it was manageable. However, after the surgery was completed, I was feeling anxious and taking a few seconds to gather myself, but the assistants in the OR made me feel very rushed. When Dr Adam tested my corneas after the surgery was completed, he was very abrupt and rushed, getting frustrated because I was unable to open my one eye (which was in a lot of pain).

I found that the pain was almost unbearable for the first couple of hours post-op, but after taking the pain drops at home, it went away. Just make sure you’re following the instructions for taking your drops to a T, to ensure minimal discomfort and fast healing!

Yesterday was my 24-hour follow up and they said my eyes are healing perfectly and that the blood shots in both eyes will be gone in 2-3 weeks.

As a side note: The earlier your appointment, the faster you love through! So glad I was at 7: 30am and the first appointment of the day. Although it makes for an early day, it’s so worth it and I’d highly recommend it.

Thank you Lasik MD at Sheppard Location for assisting me in getting the procedure done. It is so wonderful to be glasses free after all these years. The moment you enter the building, you are greeted by two lovely receptionists who are very welcoming and accommodating. Then they show you to the reception area where you can wait and access their wifi. Another person will lead you to start your imaging scans and to explain the procedure to you. They were very patient with my questions. Michelle also helped me out with the financing, showed and explained different options, and even explaining how to use the eyedrops afterwards. It was lovely meeting her, there was real connection when I had a quick chat with her. She even saw me after the procedure and congratulated me for doing well and making the decision to go for it. Inside the operating room, it was clean and welcoming. Two individuals plus Dr. Lam were there. Dr. Lam is very thorough and skillful, I can tell. He makes sure to walk you through during the procedure as it is scary when you can see everything live then your vision goes blank, just the thought of having something poke your eye is scary. He was also very professional and patient when I had trouble focusing on on spot. The procedure was brief and painless, and with Dr. Lam's guidance, you will not even realize it's over. Thank you to the Lasik MD team. It is so great to have my clear vision back, it feels so surreal! I will recommend you to everyone I know who maybe interested in trying out Lasik. Thanks everyone!

Wonderful experience. I was very nervous but the entire team and staff were very calm and friendly and helped me relax. The entire process took less than 3 hours and the surgery itself was less than 15 minutes. The post op care is also explained very well. I was not able to open my eyes on the day of the surgery, but when I could the next day, felt very happy as my vision was great. I would highly recommend this.

Overall had a positive experience at Lasik MD. Had the initial consultation which multiple tests were run and the technician informed me I am a good candidate for lasik. Staff was nice and answered any questions I had. I received a quote for the procedure and had the option of financing through paybright. This is the one issue I had in which paybright wouldn't approve my financing pre-approval. Day of surgery ran two more tests to reconfirm health of my eyes. Dr. Vincent Lam was my surgeon and was great at explaining the procedure and reassuring me throughout. Took about 10 min for both eyes and instantly noticed a massive difference in vision. I was sent home with a recovery schedule and eye drops with instructions. It's day 5 since the surgery and so far so good. I would recommend anyone considering vision correction surgery to book a consultation here.

I had my LASIK procedure done this Tuesday by Dr. Omar Hakim and I am sooo excited to share that I CAN SEE MAMA, I CAN SEE! My prescription was considered mild, (2 in one eye and 1.75 in the other) but my sister who has a similar prescription got her procedure done a couple months ago and was walking on water with her new designer eyes, so I decided to give it a go. I’m actually angry that I didn’t go in sooner! For the past several months I’ve been ditching beach volleyball with my lab-mates because I couldn’t see that well and was embarrassed to play with such poor visual acuity. Now I don’t have that worry/embarrassment any longer! The procedure itself was super smooth and Dr. Hakim and his surgical team did an amazing job keeping me comfortable throughout the whole thing. I did my Lasik surgery 2 days ago at the North York location and I couldn't wait to finally make a review myself! From the start of the consultation to the very end of my follow-up check everything was amazing! Honestly never had any surgery in my life but wanted to get rid of my glasses. I have been wearing glasses for about 7 years now and I'm super happy I made this life-changing decision. Recovered super fast, I could already see clear the same day and the next day even better! No pain at all! Just a minor pressure for the beginning but only lasted about 20 seconds. The surgery lasted about 10 minutes. Thank you to Dr. Hakim for a quick and easy going procedure! I just did my lasik surgery yesterday and my eyes are already feeling so good, I'm able to see things quite clearly now, definitely 20/20. I'm really happy that I made this decision. The staffs there were all amazing, everyone was kind and nice, Michelle patiently went through the consent forms with me and kindly answered all my concerns, she also provided me with some additional information. I'm really grateful to Dr. Hakim, the surgery went smoothly and successfully. He had steady hands during the operation, made clean cuts. Everything went amazing. I was -5.75 in one eye and -6 in the other and now I can't believe I can actually see without glasses or contacts after such a short surgery. I really wish I did it sooner! I was so nervous that day but everyone there is so nice and calm that you end up feeling at ease when it's finally time to get surgery. I would say I was in and out in about 3 hours. There is a lot of waiting but I didn't really feel I waited long since I had to do all the tests beforehand. Johnny was awesome at explaining everything to me and Michelle was super sweet and calming to talk to. They checked up on me just before surgery to see if I was doing ok. Dr. Hakim was really great. Super fast getting the procedure done and explaining what was going in a calm manner so you know what was happening. I'm truly grateful for everything they did and can't recommend them enough!

Today I went for a consultation and I had the most amazing experience because of an employee by the name of Johnny. I had my surgery just yesterday. An I’m shocked how fast everything went! All the staff at the north York location are amazing! I was so nervous going into my surgery but everyone made me feel comfortable. I’ve worn glasses since I was 9 years old an my eyes were a -4.50 and -5.50. An already today was pretty close to 20/20. Still healing. Follow guidelines for eye drops an after care. Dr. Bashour was great! The procedure took less then 10 mins for both eyes. He talked to me the whole time to let me know what was going on or happening. I am so please with my results. Should of went sooner! Thanks again

I got Lasik at the North York location. I was nervous going in but the experience was made much easier by the welcoming receptionists, and the helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. They were all ready to answer any questions I had. And I was in and out in 3 hours. Very happy with everything!

"My only regret is not getting it done sooner. " As an employee of Lasik MD I hear this all the time but I was too nervous to get it done myself. After eventually getting so tired of contacts and glasses, I mustered up the courage to get it done and I'm so glad I did. I did my consultation at the North York clinic where everyone was friendly and well informed. My actual surgery was completed at the Downtown location with Dr. Wallerstein who was so professional and reassuring. I was really nervous the day of surgery but every step of the way I felt like I was in such good hands. Everyone was extremely nice explaining everything to me, giving me their experiences, and even checking up on me afterwards. The procedure itself was quick and painless. The next morning I was already able to see clearly as if I had my glasses on. I had my follow up at the North York location where they checked my eyes and made sure everything was still good. Overall, I had such an amazing experience!

After meeting many friends who have gone through Laser Eye Correction procedures at Lasik MD, I finally decided to do it! I'm at day two today, almost no pain at all and can see better than how I did with my glasses! Makes me wonder why I didn't do it 10 years ago!

I had my eyes done in September, 2016. I was sceptical about the surgery and only went when my husband insisted on it. The surgery caused me no pain. But I have bruises in both my eyes due to the clamp. A more gentle, delicate approach while applying the clamp would have been appreciated. However, the laser surgery went swimmingly and I had already 20/30 vision the next day (I was nearsighted with cylindrical vision) and next week I completely expect to have 20/20 vision on my one week appointment. I had been going for every single appointment as I want to maintain my lifetime warranty.

I have 20/20 vision now. The quality of my life has been massively improved. I love my new eyes. Highly recommended!

I had a great experience at this LASIK MD. The staff was very helpful in answering all my questions and always very polite. The surgery itself is 5-7 mins and I am very happy to have decided to go through it.
