Completely life changing! I have been wearing glasses since I was a young child and now have 20/20 vision. Staff was amazing throughout the whole process, always making sure I was comfortable and answering any concerns I had immediately. Thank you again you guys are amazing! I am seeing the world in a whole new way now!

The team at Lasik did a great job to make me feel comfortable and answer all my questions. Staff are professional and respectable.

The only complaint I have; Doctor’s notes should be provided after the procedure. The staff are well aware of the limitations and restrictions after the procedure. I was asked to pay $25 for a Doctor’s note after paying $5000 for the procedure. It is unfortunate this is not included in the original price.

Wore glasses since I was 5. Really strong astigmatism, and contacts weren’t an option.

Lasik was one of the best decisions of my life!

Procedure was very simple. Painless, took about 7 minutes total. Went home after the procedure and took a nap.

Woke up 2hrs later with 80% of my vision already there. No pain, no discomfort. Within 24hrs of the procedure I had 20/15 vision!

No side effects after the first week. Had some dry eyes and halos at night initially, but they subsided very quickly.

Went back to my normal life within 3-4 days of the procedure.

Best part: can finally read the shampoo bottle labels

I was very nervous the day of the surgery but the staff and Dr. Omar helped me better understand the procedure.

Dr. Omar was fantastic! He explained my own physiology and what treatment would be best. He showed me the topography of my eye and made sure I understood everything before continuing with the surgery. I was very reassured that I was in great hands for the procedure.

Staff was very friendly and helpful! Had great conversations and helped with all of my questions and concerns.

100% would do it again, I am about 3 days after surgery and I can see way better than I ever could with glasses.

I just got my surgery a week ago and so far I am amazed with the results. The day after my surgery at my first checkup, my vision was 20/15, and is getting clearer each day.

Recently, I had my corrective laser eye surgery at Lasik MD located on 276 Mud St. W, Stoney Creek. The receptionist, operating room staff, and Dr. Hakim were very attentive, empathetic, informative and honest about the procedure being the amount of pressure that would be placed on my eyes. There was a particular operating room staff attendant that made me feel extremely comfortable and at ease named Vivi - she was definitely the MVP next to Dr. Hakim. They provided me with stress balls and the procedure went by very fast. Now, I can see perfectly - thanks to Lasik MD Stoney Creek!

Its been a day after my surgery, I now have 20/15 vision after almost a decade of wearing glasses. Was recommened lasik by a friend, Andrew, who also worked at the clinic and with the staff was very kind throughout the process. Dr. Hakimi's process and presence was very calming throughout the surgery.

Everyone that I dealt with at my consultation was very pleasant and made me feel very comfortable. They took the time to answer all of my questions and provided me with excellent information to make my decision about my vision moving forward.

Super happy with my results after doing LASIK. Dr Cabrera and his entire team were comforting and informative. I get easily scared with people near my eyes and Dr Cabrera didn’t rush me. I felt I was well taken care of. I went in for Surgery around 3: 00 and by 7 that night I was seeing clearly. I went in on Friday and today is Thursday the week following I am still seeing clearly and my side effects are almost all gone. Well worth it and I do not regret my decision!

I recently had Lasik done. It was quick easy and they were very informative. I was amazed at how easy it was an how professional they were. Laura and Kevin were both amazing to deal with an very down to earth. I had all my questions an concerns answered and explained thoroughly. Three days after and I can see great. Mild discomfort, but other wise I feel great an can drive an see. Night time driving has not been an issue at all either, and that was my biggest concern. Laura rocks.

Total game changer. Crazy quality of life improvement for $7500.40-something male here who's prescription was getting stronger with every passing year and who could no longer do any day-to-day activities without glasses. Faced with buying another round of prescriptions and also needing a solution for sports like cycling and skiing, I decided to look into surgery. I ended up having trifocal (toric) interocular lens replacement surgery to correct the astigmatism in both my eyes. While not 100% perfect, I'm still very pleased with the results. The good: I no longer need glasses for any daily activities. I have good near, middle and distance vision, and after two weeks one eye tested slightly better than 20/20 and the other just slightly below 20/20. The period of adjustment was fairly short and I feel like they've continued to improve slightly over the 10-weeks since my surgery. The not so good: Computer use. Near-middle focus isn't quite perfect. I frequently need to zoom text on desktop computer screens, and everything has a vaguely washed-out look to it. I do feel that this has improved a bit over time though, and on laptops (where you generally sit closer to the screen) I don't have this issue at all. Also, prior to surgery I could not use a computer at all without glasses (no matter how large I made the text I still couldn't focus) so.this is still a pretty dramatic improvement. Also not so good: night vision while driving. I probably see as well now while driving at night as I did when wearing glasses, but there hasn't been much of an improvement. I was warned that I would probably see halos around lights at night and that glare could be an issue. I don't really find the halos to be a big issue as they've gotten smaller with time and tend to appear around distant lights rather than close-up. Glare when it's raining and/or when there is snow is a larger problem, but again, I already had this issue even with glasses. As for everything else about the process, it was all first-rate, 5-star. All the staff were courteous and helpful at every step. They answered every question expertly and made sure I had realistic expectations results-wise. They were also very clear about risks vs rewards, and I was well-warned in advance about the minor side-effects/issues I've outlined here.

Had to take the time to praise everyone at this clinic. I went in for Lasik and the entire experience was just the best. Super comfortable the entire time, staff was SO helpful and excited to answer all my questions. Directions post procedure were clear and the procedure itself was so clean and I felt at ease the entire time.

Great experience here from the pre-op counselling to the day of surgery. Dr Cabrera was quick, talked me through the whole
procedure and before I knew it, I was finished! As with any elective procedure, I would look at all the information which I did and I am unbelievably happy with the results. At the post op appointment the morning after surgery, I had 20/15 vision and well on my way to recovery and even better eye sight.

I had my procedure yesterday. I had high myopia with a prescription of - 7.5 diopters. All of the staff were so kind and very calming. I was extremely nervous and they put me at ease as much as possible.
The procedure is painless but very uncomfortable. The first few hours I did have some eye pain, stinging and discomfort but it subsided quickly.
This morning I am seeing better than ever in my life. During my check up they said my vision is better than 20/20. This has changed my life. Definitely pleased with the entire process.

Unfortunately my husband has had an unexpected issue with his eye surgery. After almost 2 years of not being able to see properly they have to send him to another surgeon outside of their expertise to hopefully fix the problem.

I had my free Lasik MD Consultation at the beginning of March. The professionals went over my eye issues and the cost of procedure. I had as astigmatism for my entire life. Which plays a factor into the cost ($2090 per eye). My glasses never corrected the astigmatism aspect. I chose the slightly more expensive surgery plan which covers lifetime warranty. Which offers 24 months 0% financing, making this a very affordable option for our budget. ($4490) so I'm going to pay $188/month for 2 years.

I just had my Lasik eye surgery yesterday AM April 1 2021. The surgeon was amazing at calming me down and explained the surgery before laying me down. It was also very soothing to have him talk to me during the entire procedure explaining what was happening and to not worry. After my surgery I went home and rested all day. I put on some DR Phil episodes and Jerry Springer lol and just listened to them. Had the sunglasses on all day AND all night. I did my drops every hour and every 2 hours all day as you're supposed to. Had a nap and literally just stayed in bed all day. Just left my 24 hour appt and I now have 20/20 vision. Absolutely incredible. I can SEE. Without an astigmatism, it's honestly soooooo beautiful. If you are contemplating Lasik like I also did for years, just DO IT! Best decision of my life I cannot wait to never have a fogged up pair of glasses while wearing masks all the time now.

I had a great experience with my LASIK procedure at the Stoney Creek location. Each step in the process was clearly explained and outlined, with the opportunity to ask questions as well. The staff and doctor who did the procedure were friendly and professional, and the procedure itself was 100% painless and very quick. I did experience pain & discomfort once the numbing drops wore off after the procedure, but this subsided almost completely after a few hours rest. It has been about a week since the procedure and my vision is great, with no negative side effects of any kind. I would highly recommend LASIK Stoney Creek to anyone interested!

About two weeks ago I had my eye surgery and wow. Not only am I completely satisfied with the results, but the staff and over place was amazing. As soon as you walk in the place was stunning clean well kept coffee and cookies available. Lots of seating and a tv to pass time. I was greeted with amazing staff all very friendly and helpful, they deserve a big shout out that’s for sure. Answering all my questions explaining everything and just overall amazing. The surgeon was also amazing the day of my procedure he explained everything to me and gave me my options and he let me decide, then we went on with the process. They explained everything as it was happening and it made me feel at ease. I would definetly recommend them to anyone who was interested in the procedure even just to go and get information they are amazing. My experience at LASIK MD in Hamilton was wonderful. All of the staff went above and beyond, they were friendly, knowledgeable, and encouraging throughout the whole process from the free consultation until the surgery itself. The surgery was very quick, completely painless, and the staff were quite reassuring and explained exactly what would be happening so there were no surprises. Within 24 hours after my appointment, I was seeing better than 20-20 vision! The only downsides are the cost (which is to be expected) and there is some discomfort immediately following the surgery, however I just took a nap and by the time I woke up this had more or less subsided. I would highly recommend this process to anyone looking to finally rid themselves of glasses and contacts.

I had my lasik surgery done here and honestly I haven't regretted anything anymore ever. My right eye been blurry since after the surgery and I called them next day and response was to "wait it out". I went to all follow up appointments and complaint about my right eye not feeling right during every single of my appointments, no one ever paid attention. Had to beg and wait hours to see the surgeon for my problem. I went back to lasik md so many times and called customer care numerous time and I always got same response to "wait it out". One time they told me that its ok and my brain will get used to the blurred vision, "don't pay too much attention". Their manager told me to get another surgery (pay again) to get it corrected.
I got tired of all their excuses and decided to never go back.
Do not recommend. I gave 1 star only for a few of optometry assistants's help and understanding.
- 1 day after posted review, I got a call from lasik md asking, "how things are"? They never listened when I went there.

I had my LASIK procedure done in 2009 and never looked back, best thing I ever did. I was near sighted prior to procedure and was better than 20/20 the next day after my procedure. They were great prior to, during and after procedure.

I loved my lasik procedure and the lasik office. The facility is very clean and comfortable. All the people who work here are so friendly! I felt information was given very clearly and in a courteous manner.

I loved the outcome of the surgery (no pain and minimal recovery) and was exactly what was expected (based on information given during all appointments).

I have been waiting years to get Lasik and Lasik MD made it so easy. From the time I was approved as a candidate to booked surgery was in 2 weeks. They make you feel very secure the whole process and make sure you are okay every step of the way. Every staff member was very friendly. The actual surgery was way less scary then I had ever imagined it to be and the healing process is quick.
Would 100% recommend to anyone considering it.

An absolute wonderful experience. The entire staff from reception to surgical team were kind, considerate and polite. Surgery may be the shortest part of the whole process, but the most stressful. Dr. Hakim was a wonderful surgeon, during the whole process he would explain what was going on, and talk in a calm and reasuring voice.

Staff was friendly and professional. After performing all of the eye tests, the consultant advised me I was not a candidate at this time for the surgery. I appreciate their honesty and will return in a few years if I am on need if their services then.

I had lasik done three days ago at this clinic and it was such a great experience! The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the doctors were very reassuring and made me feel so relaxed during my procedure. I would highly recommend getting your eyes fixed at this clinic. They are very experienced and will make the whole process feel quick and easy!

I’ve been a user of glasses since about 12-13 years of age and I’ve decided to at the age of 27, to do the lasik eye surgery and get my vision corrected. It is probably one of the best decisions I have made in my life. Staff at the clinic were really helpful and friendly, they made you feel comfortable in a way that nervousness wasn’t even a thought. Surgery was a breeze with dr. Omar hakim, he explained everything step by step during the procedure enabling me to understand everything that was going on.
