I have to say this was a great experience, everyone is so nice and comforting! The surgical counselor, Julia, is so sweet and helpful. My surgeon, Dr. Lloyd was professional yet personable and put my mind at ease. I have come in for check ups to make sure everything is processing well, and the staff is always great.

Excellent service from A to Z. They explained everything with details throughout the whole process. The procedure itself only took a few minutes. I was able to leave by myself. I had a bit of discomfort the first day, The next day I felt perfectly well and my vision was 20/20

Went in first week of January 2024 for consultation. Everyone was very helpful and a lot of test ran prior to talking about the operation. Was given the advanced option and fully explained why it was best fit for me. Next week I was back in got my operation done and pretty much now I’m seeing 20/20. Took one day to pretty much recoverer and fully functional. Would highly recommend for anyone tired of wearing glasses.

I was pretty stressed about having laser eye surgery and I couldn’t be happier with the results.
Piotr I believe was his name, was the medical assistant that was incredible in making me feel comfortable, allowed me to rest a bit more and honestly felt like he provided the best care. It felt like a friend helping you through the stress but with some medical focus.
Dr Lloyd was efficient through the surgery and talked me through it for appeasement. It took at most 5-7min for both eyes.
I did get an unexpected sharp pain during but it lasted a second and had no residual effect.
Having astigmatism I was worried halos I had would be worse than I already did and so far within days it has felt the exact same sharpness as I did before with glasses. It just was never perfect even before then, so I am just glad it didn’t increase halos and now I dont need glasses.
Overall recovery took about a week to feel less headaches reading at a computer all day, which was pretty manageable. Having a bit more grounded expectations from friends and family having done it helped me a ton as “all good after 24hrs” is not quite exact.
Overall have been incredibly satisfied with the downtown location, my partner went there too and couldn’t be happier.
Life changing results for me, and incredibly thankful for the extra care of Piotr and Dr. Lloyd.

Very friendly staff and standardized process. Dr. Lloyd was really professional in pre-operation meet and also on the surgery day. I've had high prescriptions (-8) and I was able to see clearly without glasses the second day, something I haven't been able to do since I had glasses.

Efficient, friendly service from all the staff I've engaged with over the past 3 years at LasikMD. The after care I have received since surgery has been excellent.

Staff are all great to deal with. I had difficulties on the day of surgery with my payment method but everyone was patient in dealing with the situation while I worked through it. The surgery went very well, and healed well. Came back for my 1 year check up and the staff remain pleasant to work with. Over all a great experience.

I had my surgery last year and i really recommend doing it. It is pricey but worth it. Lasik employees was very professional and made sure i was taken care of.

Got my surgery consult and appointment booked within 2 weeks. The consult was easy, lots of opportunity to ask questions from opthalmologists, qualified people with whom I felt zero anxiety. The surgery itself can be uncomfortable but you can't see the laser, you don't feel it, and the moment it's done I had blurry vision, but could immediately see better than with my glasses. Recovery is easy and can return to normal work and activity within a week. Also my vision is now better than 20/20, it's 20/15. It's totally worth the cost.

The best decision of my life! Great experience all the way through! Everyone takes care of you and provide all necessary information! If you wanna complete get rid of your glasses, definitely recommend!

Not happy with how my experience has gone. I feel like I should not have been eligible but I was and now experiencing so many issues: Severe dry eyes, driving at night and how bright lights affect my vision. The driving at night is the worst as I could see so much better with my glasses and now the lines on the street are blurry, signs are blurry and cannot be read unless I am up close. I had a top up surgery to try and correct my night vision and now street lights at night are doubled. I wake up at 6am every morning with severe dry eyes and have to put drops in right away, same thing happens during the day and at night. I wish I never got laser eye surgery and just stuck with my glasses as my QOL was so much better.

Had my surgery 2 years ago just before the pandemic and my vision is still good. Follow up exam was quick and smooth, minimum wait time and all COVID protocols are being followed.

I had my lasik correction performed by Dr. Vincent Lam. Dr. Lam explained my options and the procedure and was informative before and during the procedure. The surgery was successful and quick; I haven't had any major complications right after the surgery and I have 20/20 vision on the next day. I am impressed by their efficiency and I appreciate that they check your prescription twice independently to ensure the numbers are consistent. I would recommend the downtown clinic and Dr. Lam to anyone looking to do laser eye correction!

Got PRK done at this location and was a wonderful experience. The surgeon who performed the surgery - Dr Robert Adam, is confident, knowledgeable, and has great bedside manners. He made sure that I felt comfortable the whole way through, explained the procedure and its risks, and reassured me throughout the operation. Great place to go to if you're eyeing to get laser eye surgery. Friendly receptionists and excellent staff too!

I had an eye infection and Maria Ravivo the office manager wasn't burocratic and stating well is that really our problem when it happened through Lake Ontario water from swimming. No, she was very helpful, had me tested and they provided me with some drops that worked. Maria and the staff are awesome

Wow! Where do I begin? The service at this LASIK MD location is exceptional! The receptionist at the front desk, Akari, is very friendly, welcoming and attentive to all the questions I had every time I came to my appointments. The eye care professionals, Adrianna and Sahba, were very thorough with examining my eyes. Nina and Elisa went over my post-procedure care and instructions very thoroughly too. Lastly, the surgeon Dr Hakim did a great job in making sure everything was a success! I was anxious during the procedure but Dr Hakim’s professionalism and reassuring voice guided me through the entire process with ease.

From 2009 to June 27th 2022, it’s hard to believe I waited this long. I’m glad I decided to go with LASIK 13 years later with no regrets!

Staff is incredible. I accidently overpaid quite a bit and they returned the overpay the following appointment. Dr omar hakim was my surgeon and he was amazing. Although the operation is fast, once you lay down on the bed, fear and anxiousness takes over but Dr. Hakim was able to calm my nerves. 10/10

It was a quick surgery and recovers soon. Staffs are professional and patient. Samantha was very friendly and gives me all the details of informations that I need. Dr Vincent Lam is skilful. Should've done this earlier!

The surgery and staff were fantastic but there are two specific areas that I think would have improved the experience:
1. "Focus on the green light" this was an interesting part of the surgery, as it seems quite easy to look at a green light. However this comes after the top of your eye has been cut open and is an interesting time to learn to focus on a blurry green light when there are large red lights and large white lights in the same visual space. What would have been helpful was guidance, ahead of time, as to what to expect. A sample image, or even a heads up that there were competing lights to look at would have made this part of the surgery less stressful. While this seems like a small thing, I suggest that learning during surgery can be stressful for everyone.

2. Post surgery is another point for improvement. You are asked to focus at certain points (to the left, to the wall, etc) while the flaps are nice and flat. This step would be improved, for me, if there were places to focus at or look at. It is difficult to hold one place when the room is dark, blurry and there is nothing specific to focus on. Even an or a dot or something on the wall would have made it easier to focus and involved less eye movement for the surgeon.

All other steps were great. Surgeon guidance ahead of surgery was detailed and involved. Multiple checks and rechecked of my eyes made me feel really safe and comfortable, but the two items below would have been helpful.

Also, I had a sleeping pill after the surgery and the night of the surgery and that really helped me fall asleep despite the discomfort.

Staffs are very friendly there especially Samantha, she helped me understand everything about Lasik in great detail. I strongly recommend this place.

Custom bladeless laser surgery with Lasik MD is life changing!

From the virtual consultation to post-op they were professional and efficient. I was super nervous but they were very patient and answered all my questions to make me feel at ease. Kym, Samantha, Sara, Dr. Lloyd and the rest of the team were very thorough, caring and had great bed side manner. The surgery itself was quick and painless. If you follow the instructions given and rest, recovery is quick. The next day I was enjoying brunch with friends. It has now been a week and it has been amazing living life in 20/20! Customer service is non-existent at this location. I've been to their downtown Toronto location twice now and will not be coming back. I only ended up booking my appointments at this location when I couldn't get them at their North York location which has been great. My last appointment was scheduled for 11: 40am. I purposely scheduled an appointment during lunchtime so I could go during my 1 hour lunch break. I wasn't called into the room until 12: 30 right as I was about to leave. I sat there for almost an hour waiting and there was nobody at the reception area so I couldn't even inquire about the wait time. The waiting room was also completely empty so I was confused as to why it took so long to be seen. I was told that the purpose of the appointment was to see an optometrist as my dry eyes were persisting and they were considering prescription eye drops. This is not what happened - the appointment was the same as my other ones and they told me the same thing - to keep using drops and eventually my vision and dryness will improve with time. It was a complete waste of my time. Not to mention it made me late for work.

The downtown location has amazing customer service. Everyone was nice and friendly and answered all my questions. The process is quite smooth. Sam was especially super friendly and helpful while processing all my paperwork! Would definitely recommend this location.

I had LASIK on Friday Oct 29th and I'm very happy with the results! The staff members (everyone from the receptionist to the surgeon) were excellent; they answered all of my questions and informed me of any potential risks (as with any surgery) very clearly and were very down to earth. Special thanks to Sam for being so awesome by walking me through the pre-op details of the surgery (what it's like, who does it, pricing, etc.) and post-op healing schedule; also awesome she was so patient when PayBright had some financing issues.

The optometrists ran through plenty of very thorough tests with my eyes both during the consultation and on the day of surgery with some very modern technology (e.g, 3D mapping the inside of my eyes) to ensure the results were as accucate and competent as possible.

Overall, I can say this is definitely the best purchase of my life so far; being completely glasses free by getting LASIK is for sure life changing. I totally recommend LASIK MD and would get LASIK there again in a heart beat if I had a second chance.

Had custom Lasik done last Saturday. While it's still early days I feel it was a life changing decision and an investment. Bilghin was amazing from the consult stage and subsequent follow ups. Had original surgery, then a second due to some regression and both pre - covid, and they were were handled with a lot of care and consideration. I was terrified and they took such good care of me even though I was a total drama queen they were still very understanding and helpful.

I had a great experience. Everyone was very professional and compassionate. I had Dr. Hakim. He was so knowledgable and kind.

The staff and service overall are outstanding. The surgery itself is quick, and the follow-ups conducted by the staff (i.e. Doctors, front desk staff, nurses) are consistent and precise. The customer service, in general, is excellent.

I don't remember the specific doctor that did mine but he was a pro. My eyes are great now and I had it done in 2010. The staff at all the offices I went to were professional and knowledgeable and friendly. They never tried to coax me into doing anything and explained everything to me. In the end it was painless, nothing to be scared about at all. And it only took like 5 mins or less to do.

I underwent eye surgery a week ago at the King St location and was extremely pleased with the process. Given the COVID-19 situation, I felt very comfortable and safe with being at the facility. Cleaning protocols were done regularly. The eye surgery process was also great - lots of communication from the experts and staff. Everyone was very nice and helpful. I didn't know what to expect, as I've never done this before, but I was put at ease and was provided with all the information I needed from the start and throughout the process. The surgery went well and I am extremely happy I made the choice to get it done. It's life-changing and I recommend it to anyone who is looking to improve their eyesight and forego the use of glasses and contacts.

Staff was super kind. My waiting time was not as long as I thought it would be, around 4 hours. I'm so excited about the results now, I'm only 5 days post-op, but I know my eyes are so much better than they were. One of the best decisions I've ever made. Really disappointed with the results from LasikMD after spending thousands of dollars on my laser eye surgery. Pre surgery appointments were rarely ever on time, but I understand some days are busier than others so no problem. After months of recovering my vision has barely improved & has if anything made my eye health worse than it was before I gotten it, I now have to rely on eye drops (That were not covered & very expensive) as when my eye gets dry it makes it very uncomfortable and hard to see. After doing my pre consultations and then on the day moments before doing the surgery the doctor tells me my left eye will never be close to 20-20 vision because of a stigmatism, that’s understandable but the fact he told me moments before my surgery was disappointing. I basically did not have a choice after that. I went for all the following check ups and Everytime they just told me my eyes are dry. Fast forward months later I feel as if my eyesight is just as bad as it was before but now I’m forced to rely on eye drops. Oh and not to mention I’m over 5000$ in the hole, if I knew this was going to be the result i would’ve went and bought some prescription Cartier frames for the price Lol. Not worth it in my honest opinion.

Dr Lloyd was amazing! Very personable and had a great sense of humour but was also great at letting me know every step of the process. I have already recommended Lasik MD and Dr Lloyd to at least 4 people!

The staff was good, explained all the steps. The procedure itself went very smoothly. It is a 4-5 hour wait time between seeing the technician. So be prepared to wait, bring a book or extra battery charger. I wish this was communicated better.

However I would recommend LASIK, as they know what they are doing and make it easy as possible.

I had Lasik 13 months ago. I had relatively strong myopy (-7.5 with contacts). The experience was great. I went back this week for my annual check up at the Toronto office. To anyone hesitating, I can say that I'm very happy to have it done last year.

I did my surgery to repair my high value of astigmatism and near-sightedness here, and all the staff are the warmest people I ever met here especially during this covid times. I felt so welcomed and connected. The community was friendly and everyone was very helpful to me. They explained every step and recommendations concisely and always making sure I'm comfortable. The surgeons were the best in Canada and I got my surgery done very quickly, and my whole life had been transformed in just 10 minutes of surgery. No more annoying condensations on glasses, no more worrying over how I look like in glasses, I felt much more confident and I gained my self love once again. I am just so ugly wearing glasses lol and now I got high self esteem. I don't feel insecure anymore and I felt really happy. I can see things clearly and that's the most important part! For now, my vision had been very perfect and I enjoyed my new way of looking to this world. The price was also truly reasonable! I just wanted to thank very much every single person I met in LASIK MD, I really couldn't name them all! LASIK MD was very straightforward and professional. The location is clean and sanitized, with strong health and safety protocols in place. They guide you through every step of the way and I can attest that Lasik was the best purchase I’ve ever made.
