Laurentian Dental Centre Kitchener

This was a consultation appointment with Dr. Uppal regarding an upper wisdom tooth and a low-grade throb/sensation. As I hoped for, we worked as a team to exchange information and to come to a root cause of my problem. Pardon the pun… hehe. Anyways, it was a relaxed atmosphere and I didn’t feel rushed. Dr. Uppal methodically diagnosed the problem as a likely gum issue, where food was catching and irritating the gum. Some testing with cold water to check nerve sensitivity also done, so I think we may be on the right track. Time will tell. Long range plan is to replace the old filling in the wisdom tooth. A good educational appointment.

Began coming to Laurentian Dental a few months ago, and Dr. Nermin Piragic and his assistant Mezghan have been amazing!

Cleaning was okay, but left feeling unfinished. Hygienist didn’t even floss between my teeth to see if he had removed all the plaque. Teeth don’t feel smooth like they normally do after a cleaning.

Every one is very friendly and helpful. They take you fairly close to appointment time. They spend as much time as you need for explanations

I will be looking for a new dental office. Everytime I go there's surprise charges! I really wish they would let you know before you get work donr

Great staff that work here I am always greeted with a smile and they take real good care of you during your visit! The dentist amazing, gentle and always explain procedures to you I am very happy here and actually not dreading to go to the dentist anymore

Service was excellent. I needed a fractured molar extracted and I was in so much pain. Dr. Rima and Mimi easily extracted my molar as painless as possible. The process was smooth and they made sure I was comfortable. Also checking out was fast and the receptionist, Mary Brown (Mary Brown fried chicken, lol) was hilarious and friendly. She explained the claim process thoroughly and made great recommendations.

I think Paul (hygienist) is great and super knowledgeable. He always has great suggestions and explains things so I clearly understand an issue or proposed service. The clinic is always very clean and reception are very friendly. Two critiques: my appointment was 15 minutes late last visit and secondly, the dentist turn over is crazy. I've been a customer almost since they first opened and don't think I've had the same dentist twice. All were good, but would like to build a relationship and can't because they are gone next visit.

I can't say enough about the way it went, I was so pleased with the results the denturist was just great. I really was a little worried, but the end results I could not be more pleased with. They are just great, I recommend them to anyone. I had been going to Dr. Sun as a dentist for many years, my whole family do he is wonderful. Have been a few times this year and each of my appointments have gone flawlessly! Very friendly and methodical staff who treat your mouth with the upmost care. I have never experienced such pain free freezing and filling in my entire life. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist or happen to be new to the Kitchener area.

I found it intrusive that I am asked to complete the background form every time I have an appointment. I see this as discrimination since I have medical conditions and am mistrusted.

Also, during cleaning I am being chatted up with the purpose to pump me for information. I do not want the dentist office to keep tabs on my life.

I value the way Paul worked at my first cleaning appointment. Did the work and time was not wasted on chit chat. Please, do not ask me about school or what I plan to do in the future. Despite my medical conditions, I enjoy dentist appointments without pleasantries.

In the future, I will no longer engage in small talk.

My cell phone is always off and I rarely turn it on to use it and in the process see if there are messages. I am fine confirming my attendance through the link that is emailed.

I have neglected going to the dentist for years due to poor experiences but decided it was time. Went in to Laurentian Dental and they completely changed my view. The girls up front, the manager, and everyone was very helpful and friendly. They even helped me to understand my insurance coverage. They made me feel comfortable, explained every detail, as well as put together a treatment plan to help me get my teeth to where I want them while working within my insurance coverage. Will definitely continue going here.
