They really have great service and great staff, but they are no longer accepting Healthy Smiles. They put it through on this visit for me, thankfully, but being a single parent with a single household income, it just makes it more difficult for me to afford dental care for my child, so I will likely have to switch dental offices, which is truly unfortunate because I’ve been with this dental office since I was a child when Dr. Medland owned it.

Staff are always friendly and have been more than accommodating to my busy schedule. Never felt so welcomed at a dental office before. I will be going here for all my dental work and care for the foreseeable future!

I rececently switched from my previsous dentist for the last twenty years. After having my first visit there were a few concerns was addressed by Dr. Michael which was never ever mentioned by my previous dentist, and as per the recommendation I had all my treatment done well and I just can't thank enough for all the treatment taken care of in the last five months.
If anyone is looking for a dental clinic would highly recommend Laurier Dental. The care and satisfaction is guaranteed as I had an amazing experience.

We have been going to Laurier Dental as a family for many years. Overall, the place has been reasonable, however most recent visit with my 6-year old left a sour taste. My son did not want to get checkup done and did not cooperate much, so the doctor looked at the teeth quickly (no x-ray, just visual inspection and we were out in about 5 min). Cost was full checkup $80. They encourage parents to bring kids at early ages, but if we are charged full price for kids not cooperating, then I would not have brought my son, till I know he is ready.

The review is for families with kids, to ensure that they don't waste their money with these visits.

After initial 2-star review, I did get a follow-up from Laurier Dental informing me that I was charged less than full checkup (seems like earlier receptionist mis-communicated). As due to COVID, a lot of the businesses have some fixed-cost, I expected some charge, just not as much. Updated the review to 4-star from 2-star due to communication. I still believe that business should look into implementing a max $50 charge, if young kids are uncooperative and total appointment duration is just a few min.

Dr. Summer and the rest of the staff at Laurier Dental have been taking care of my family and I for years. I was originally with dr. Medland. I highly recommend Dr. Summer to adults looking for a new dentist or for your kids, my son is feisty and she did a great job keeping him chill for a filling. The hygienists are also amazing, I don’t have a favourite, they all do a great job. The receptionists are always welcoming and helpful.

I took my xry and estimate to other dental cilnic the amount you estimated for the job I had to pay extra each time I visited you but other place i did not need to pay a $ as my insurance covered it all.

Laurier Dental. Home of the the 10 minute filling! Well maybe not, but I went in for a chipped tooth and Dr. Summer rebuilt it in about 10 minutes and I was on my way. I have to say my experience with Dr. Summer so far has been excellent. A truly top notch dentist!
