Been there couple of times and every time it takes them some time to give seats or take orders

Great place for hanging out with friends, date and couples. Stunning views with delicious food. It is an experience to enjoy especially in summer. Recommend the nachos with Avocado dip, mac and cheese, fries. All their cocktails and mocktails are outstanding. Make a reservation ahead of time, most of the days and times are jam-packed if you try to walk-in. The service here is outstanding, they take special care of the customers to ensure they are happy.

Never seen such dirty washrooms! Horrible and they smell like zoo.no toilet paper, toilet floor slippery (water everywhere) and fell down twice. Literally the dirtiest washrooms ever on king st west and when I asked washroom attendat for toilet paper, damn so rude…even washroom attendant stink.how you want washroom attendant to keep your place clean if they don’t even take care of their hygiene! Horrible horrible horrible

Zara was amazing as our waitress but it was very difficult at times to get a hold of her or any staff member at the beginning. Throughout the evening, another lady had come I don’t remember her name, but she was also assisting us helped us to take pictures in the absence of our waitress, who was also serving a huge party. I can understand when you’re doing a huge party plus other tables it can be a lot and probably less time with your customers but I’ve worked at restaurants before and the best thing to do is to have more staff on hand for nights like this to avoid your customers getting upset or frustrated. The food was amazing, staff were very friendly and supportive. The music was out of this world and the ambiance of the whole lounge and then some was magnificent. Please let the Dj know that he rocked it last night. I was dancing the whole night! It was my birthday dinner celebration and I definitely enjoyed thus experience.

As a positive, it has great views. Aside from that the food and drink are severely underwhelming. The washrooms are closets, the music is terrible, the dress code is unenforced. An inelegant venue with an unrefined crowd.

I’ve had a great experience the first time I came but at that time it was only myself and 4-5 other guests present for lunch. This weekend I went with my friends for dinner and it was very busy. Our server for some reason just seemed fed up with us immediately the moment we said we wouldn’t be getting any drinks. The food and atmosphere was great but the service was horrible. Server constantly walked right by us a few times and did not respond even when we called for her. Didn’t even bother asking if we needed more water or anything else.

So I went here with a group of friends and the service was awful we saw our waitress exactly three times and most of thr times we saw her was because we had to flag down someone else to go find her. The food took forever, it was good when we finally got it although very small portions for the price of the place. Our drinks were never filled nor were we asked if we wanted more. I honestly would not recommend. The place itself was pretty but we couldn't talk much because of a speaker blaring right behind us, and it was fairly cold I'm surprised they didn't put out heaters.

So came here for a bday dinner and all I can say is just to read the one star reviews on here. None of them are lies, experienced all of it first hand. The service? Terrible. The food? Disgusting. Got the salmon dish, and it smelt wayyyy too fishy. Fresh fish should not have the dead fish smell to it.

The view is cute, but that’s all it is. And the audacity they have to be adding an 18% gratuity as if we will be receiving some exceptional service. The server literally forgot to put in our order, brought 3/7 and then 20 minutes later while we still waiting for the other 4 mains he’s like “oh whoops I forgot to send that to the kitchen” so we had to wait an additional 40 min.

Just a terrible experience overall, felt embarrassed having called friends here for a birthday.

Also don’t get the sushi from here, was not edible.

Really horrible food. I don’t know how you mess up FRIES and CHIPOTLE sauce. Tastes terrrrrible! The vibes are nice, good place to take pics, but food/drinks/apps- horrible. Sushi is so bad, burger is bad. I do not recommend. Try out another spot, many others with a nice view and decent food. Also- service insanely bad. My table had to wait 1 hour 25 mins for our food! They brought out 2 peoples food and didn’t bring out the others. We had to wait so long! And then it was also trash and the service was rude. Support elsewhere!

My recent experience at Lavelle left me feeling quite uncomfortable due to the security check process. While the rooftop bar itself was pleasant, the conduct of the female security guard during the check was unacceptable.
During the security check, the female security guard conducted a thorough search on my boyfriend, which involved touching him all over. This made both of us feel uneasy and violated. What baffled us even more was that there were male security guards present who could have performed the check on my boyfriend, making the experience less uncomfortable for both of us.
While we understand the need for security measures, the approach and actions taken by the female security guard were distressing and unnecessary. We believe that a more sensitive and respectful approach should be adopted to ensure the comfort and dignity of all patrons.
We hope that Lavelle management takes this feedback seriously and implements appropriate measures to ensure that such incidents are not repeated in the future.

One of the best summer spots in Toronto. The food is amazing, such a great place with a beautiful view and stunning views. But the service was absolutely the best of all our experience; Ana was our server and we couldn’t ask for anything better - she was so attentive, friendly and made the best of our experience tonight

Would give zero if I could. The worst service ever and extremely rude staff. We didn't even ask for the bill they just wanted us out after an hour. Never coming back. Also server tried to leave before taking our full order and then took away our food before we finished.

SHORT RIB TACOS (3) // braised short ribs, yuzu avocado crema, shiso tomato salsa, wafu sauce, micro cilantro, wonton shell (taken from menu)
- Expensive. 22 dollars and the tacos were TINYYYYY
- Even though I don't think its worth the price, this was pretty good.the braised ribs were super soft (not chewy/tough at all), the yuzu touch of the avocado gave the overall dish a nice citrus kick, and I liked the crispiness of the wonton shell compared to the super soft ribs/avocado crema, etc.

LAVELLE SIGNATURE TRUFFLE FRIES (Veg) // shoestring fries, parmesan, chives, parsley, truffle oil served with garlic aioli (taken from menu)
- Fries were cooked well, well seasoned.and the sauce was pretty addicting too:)
- Expensive. 14 dollars for a small plate

OTHER
- Overall, I was pretty surprised that the food was decent! Especially as it seems like others have complained about its quality.maybe Lavelle's food is just sorta inconsistent?
- View is nice! At the corner of the patio, there's a small area where you can take cute pics almost directly in front of the CN tower:)
- Giving this a 3 because the server barely stopped by our table- we had to flag him down to get water (after waiting like 20 minutes) as well as every time afterwards to refill it
- Also dirty washrooms lmao:/ I would sorta get it if its dirty at night because drunk af people, but at like 2pm. I don't know LOL.it was sort of a turn off for such a nice looking place
- I wouldn't come back for lunch/food just because its so expensive but I'd be interested to see how it changes at night!:)

The Food is bomb, but the serving size.negative -star for sure.

I rather go to a place that will fill me up more.

Have attended here twice and that is all for me. The only thing this place has going for it, is a nice view to the city. Other than that, food/drinks are outrageously priced and very small portions. Service is very slow. Even getting to your a table (having reservations) is slow. Overall, the hype is not worth it. If you are wishing to catch an “L” then this is the spot for you.

See the below pictures. My small wallet is bigger than the cup they gave me for my drink which costs $15+, the picture actually makes it look bigger than it was.

My teacup was bigger than the 3 tacos they gave me.

I also ordered the salmon plate which costs around $30 and the portion was tiny, the biggest thing on the plate was the seasoned lemon.no thats not a potatoe.

When I was making my reservation, there was plenty of indoor options available for 10pm/10: 15pm. But i specifically booked for 12: 15am because that was the only time that had a table outdoor on the patio. But when we reached, they gave us an indoor table. When I inquired why I was given a table indoor, they said because we checked in 15minutes early. In the message from Lavelle, they tell you to come 15mins earlier. Also if that were the case, why were we not informed or communicated the information while checking in that because it is still 15 mins early, your outdoor table isn’t ready. Then our server went to inquire and had a different story about how the outside tables have stayed longer than they were expecting past their reservation times. But i could clearly see table of 4s available outside which were given to people arriving after us. Our waiter was ok however he kept forgetting our orders or mixing them up. I went for the view other than that there is really nothing special about Lavelle, it is overhyped and are a mess.

Had a great time here with friends. Our server Mike Persano went above and beyond and made us feel so welcomed. It was such a great experience! We will definitely come back.

Great atmosphere, food and drinks! Servers were great but so busy they didn’t circle back often

The fact of how insanely watered down the drinks are here… should be a tale. The crowd - if you know, you know (“Gucci money”). At this point leaving this review doesn’t change anything just because there always gonna be people who love Lavelle and there’s people who actually live in Toronto.

Finally went to Lavelle after all the hype its given on social media. Food was okay. Crowd was lively and the views was amazing. Our server was ok.

I wish there was zero star because I don’t even recognize this place anymore. We used to go to this place a lot and everything used to be great, the food quality and the menu used to be really good and the waitresses were not smelly before!
My today’s experience was horrible! First of all the menu has changed so much and not a lot of selection! The food was not good and when I wanted to order dessert and tea they only had green tea and something else. I asked for a regular black tea and they didn’t have that LOL what kind of restaurant doesn’t have a regular black tea on their men? Not everybody drink green tea! So I just asked for the bill and didn’t even order dessert because they didn’t have big selection anyway! I decided to go somewhere else to have dessert.
Second of all, the bathroom! I don’t think I can ever forget what I saw today! I’m not gonna go into details and feel disgusted again, just know that I didn’t use the bathroom.
And finally the waitress smelled really really bad! Please buy a deodorant from shoppers or something!
I used to go to Lavelle every week and spend alot of money, but I will not going back to this place until they change their menu and come up with a better selection and rearrange the whole place back to what it was before, right now it just feels very cheap!

Michael Persano was our server and he was fantastic! The vibe was nice and the food was good, but our server’s energy was the best part! Definitely recommend!
