Lawrence Park Animal Hospital has truly become our cat's second home, and I mean that wholeheartedly. Every staff member, from the Vet Techs to Dr. Larry and Dr. Megan, to the front desk, greets us with a smile. The level of customer service and aftercare for patients is exceptional. We consider ourselves fortunate to have our cat as a patient here. A solid five stars.

Imagine this: A dog genuinely thrilled about visiting the vet! It might sound far-fetched (pun intended), but that's the reality at Lawrence Park Animal Hospital. Our delightful 7-month-old puppy, Tony, eagerly leads me to the vet during our walks, even without an appointment, just to greet the fantastic staff at LPAH. The entire team, including Dr. Larry Wilder and Dr. Jen, is exceptional. They prioritize our puppy's well-being, showering him with love, affection, and tasty treats. The staff is not only friendly but also efficient, well-organized, and communicative. I can't speak highly enough of the LPAH team and wholeheartedly recommend this veterinary office to all furry friends! Plus, their beautifully designed office comes with the added perk of a nice, hot cup of coffee in the waiting area.

We were very worried about our dog and Doctor Larry took the time to listen, fully assess, and explain to us what was going on with our dog and the best ways to take care of him. We left the clinic feeling really good and happy to have Dr. Larry as our vet.

Earlier this month we had to put our 17 year old cat Binky down.
As expected after 17 years of growing old with Binky it was not an easy experience for any of our family members.

Dr. Wilder and Dr. Weiser treated our red retriever pup for a complicated retrobulbar abscess. They navigated Penny’s case with urgency and confidence.

When you bring your pet to LPAH you can rest assured knowing they are in capable hands. I cannot express how thankful and how grateful I am for the compassion and care Dr. Wilder and his team showed me when I first arrived with my cat.

I am a new cat owner so vet visits tend to be a very stressful and anxiety inducing experience, but the staff at LPAH take the time to explain what’s wrong, what’s next and what now. When my cat underwent surgery, the staff went above and beyond to make frequent calls to update me on my cat’s condition to ease my worry and anxiety. They’re fair, compassionate, friendly and thorough, they go the extra mile to make sure your pet is given the most exceptional care available.

Best vet I could ask for. Techs are always happy to see our little Beans walk through the door. They always have the best interest to all animals and try to be as reasonable and fair on fees. Again it's a tough industry and they understand the expenses. But I couldn't ask for a better group of people to take care of our pets. Always great communication even outside of visit appointments. The most important thing for me is when vets are not over-treating your pet trying to make more money out of you. That’s exactly what I found at Lawrence Park Animal Hospital! They are super nice and professional. Pets health is their top priority. They’ll suggest you a procedure only if it’s absolutely necessary.

First of all, I want to thank Dr. Larry, Dr. Megan, Tash and the rest of the amazing staff, (Dr. Kim - Mobile Surgeon), for all the hard work, love, care and effort that they put in to Mocha's surgery and emergency medical situation. My husband and I are extremely grateful and will never forget all that the Lawrence Park team did for Mocha and us to turn a unexpected, almost devastating circumstance into the most positive experience possible.
They went above and beyond anything and everything anyone could expect or ask for to save Mocha's life and keep our hearts from being broken.

Lawrence Park Animal Hospital has been caring for our animals for the better part of 15 years. They are absolutely wonderful and will treat your furry family like their own. The office staff are so friendly, helpful and efficient. The Drs are compassionate, communicative and have always provided our family with top notch care. There is always a very clear explanation of both medical issues and billing so you’re prepared for any costs. They have treated my pets on more than one urgent/emergency occasion and I have never once felt I was being over charged - in fact I am deeply appreciative of how budget conscious they are. Both the clear explanations/expectations and fair pricing are a god send in what can be a very stressful and emotional time.

These guys take great care of our animals every time. Our dog goes crazy every time we go pick up food. He loves the attention they give him. He even lets them cut his nails with no drama - at home he acts like we’re trying to cut his whole paw off.

Lawrence Park Animal Hospital has been excellent. They respond to your email in timely manner and so much care. And they have treated my puppy so far with great professionalism and heart. They always explain everything in a transparent and understandable manner so even a first-time dog owner was able to know what took place. We’re very happy with the care our puppy receives from everyone on the team at LPAH. Maple loves coming to the Clinic and she’s always super excited to go in.
Everytime we needed, they were able to accommodate short-notice appointments, when Maple had kennel cough and cherry eye surgery.
They always follow up to make sure she is recovering promptly and we feel she’s in great hands!

I can't say enough good things about the entire team at Lawrence Park Animal Hospital. I have a 1 year old pup who has had a few stomach issues, and the entire team have been nothing but kind, compassionate, thorough and considerate. They truly treat Fred (my doggo) like he's their own. Beyond that, they follow up consistently to check in on how he is doing. The doctors and the vet techs take the time to explain, in detail, what may or may not be going on. The cost is also very reasonable. I never felt like any of the tests were frivolous - in fact, the last visit I would have okayed anything to see what was going on with Fred. Instead, the treatment plan was thorough, but without subjecting Fred to any tests that weren't necessary at the time. I really appreciate how everyone is amazing at explaining everything, no question is unanswered, and just how the quality of care is top notch. Highly recommend.

They’ve helped us navigate challenging/emergency situations with immediacy and professionalism, acting only in the best interest of our little ones. They were very responsive and helpful. We had a slight emergency and they were very quick to get us in were understanding and very compassionate to our dog who was in distress. They didn't even charge us for the quick visit.

I had an amazing experience visiting the Lawrence Park Animal Hospital, especially as my first visit was due to an emergency with my dog. Even during the Covid-19 pandemic, as I initially called the clinic right when it opened in the morning, I explained my dogs situation and they assured to squeeze in an appointment that same day in the afternoon (even when I wasn't yet registered with this hospital). I ensured my dog was registered as a new patient after our conversation and I was really glad I did. During the visit, my dog was treated with care and comfort and as a bit of an aggressive dog, they knew exactly how to handle him. The staff were super friendly and assuring and after the appointment, they made sure to gradually check up on our situation. As a new situation recently occurred with my dog, they were very quick to respond to my email and to discuss the new issue. Going to the vet has never been this comforting!

They are meeting and exceeding the recommended Public Health requirements and protocols for Covid-19 which made me feel relaxed and comfortable when dropping Bailey off and picking her up.

My puppy Rukkus has been going to see the lovely staff at Lawrence park for 8 months now. They are friendly and always do a great job. Very very bad hospital. They don’t really care about your pets! The only thing they care about is making money!

They want you to do the check so that they can earn a lot of money, but they don’t care if your pets are alive or NOT. The only thing they want to do is to steal your MONEY from your pocket.

If you have a second choice, stay away from this hospital!

This was our first visit with the clinic. The process leading up to this first appointment and the appointment itself went amazing well. The staff are all so pleasant, personable and incredibly helpful. No matter who I spoke to, they all took their time to answer all my questions in detail. Never did I feel like I was bothering them with what I would have thought were never-ending questions. Dr. Wilder was also very thorough and let me ask any and all the questions. He also made sure that I was comfortable with his recommendations. I couldn't be happier with this clinic and look forward to interacting with them all in the future. Highly recommend them!

The team at the Lawrence Park Animal Hospital are easily the best in the city! They are responsive, knowledgable, and you can tell the whole staff really cares about you and your pet. Recently my kitten had fleas, and they got back to me three minutes after opening to book an appointment for that day to make sure she was feeling better, just incredible care!

We have been going to Lawrence Park Animal Hospital for over 30 years now and we have found everyone at the clinic to be exceptional. Recently, we brought our 9 eight week old Vizsla puppies in for their first check ups and the entire staff treated them so well and with so much care. It was a pleasure to be there. We would highly recommend this clinic!

As a first-time pet owner, I was searching through the internet for a vet when I stumbled upon Lawrence Park Animal Hospital. Seeing all the great reviews, I sent them an email and my 8-week old puppy and I were quickly registered with them along with already having an appointment booked for him. They have been nothing but kind and I'm grateful for all the help they have given me with Kenai within the short time I have been with them.

We had some issues with a tick and LPAH was the only place we could find that would send the tick out for testing. Rather than wait the 4-6 weeks for symptoms to show, this provided some much needed relief when the results came in. Dr. Larry Wilder and his team went above and beyond, contacting us when the results had not come in by the expected date, answering a ton of questions along the way and offering advice and recommendations that would reduce the cost of a vet visit.
We followed up with a visit for a checkup and waited in the parking lot as LPAH is also following excellent Covid protocol, keeping everyone safe with contact-free drop off and payments.
I honestly can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Wilder and his team!
In case this review does not convince you that this is an amazing team, we drove 60 km (one way) to have Zeus checked out and have decided that Lawrence Park Animal Hospital will be the ONLY place we take Zeus and any other future pets.

My dog Mila had a mast cell tumor on her thigh. We were in panic and stressed about it! But thankfully my friend Annie who works at Lawrence Park Animal Hospital got me an appointment. The team there took great care of her, and Larry did an amazing job at removing ALL her tumor! My 13 year old Maltese who is very youthful (still looks and acts like a puppy) will still have many years to go thanks to Larry and his team! Thank you Lawrence Park Animal Hospital!

Once a year, since she has joined our family, Skye hangs out at Lawrence Park Animal Hospital and gets her check up and flea and tick meds and in general.has a shy visit with this most excellent and kind team of professionals. Sometimes, like last week, Skye has to come for an emergency visit because she ingested something that didn't agree with her tummy.or worse. Time and Care was taken, X-rays taken and medicine prescribed. 2 days later.our happy pup is back to herself. Every aspect was addressed and nerves were calmed. Both of our cats are under the care of Dr. Larry Wilder for routine check-ups, but LPAH recently saved our cat's life after being diagnosed with an obstruction, which required hospitalization and surgical removal. Dr. Wilder and his team were incredible; they worked quickly and transparently, and kept us informed through the entire treatment process with timely updates over a course of several days, working through New Year's Eve and Day. All of the staff were warm, friendly, and caring; we are forever grateful to have a team of compassionate experts take care of our pets!

Right from the start, the doctors and staff have gone above and beyond to make sure our little English Bulldog puppy is thriving. We have been bringing our cats to LPAH since we moved into this neighbourhood 3 years ago. Dr. Wilder and the whole team are amazing! They are thorough and caring, and they really take the time to explain everything to you. When your pet is sick, it can be such a stressful and emotional time - but I always feel better knowing that they are taking good care of them.

We have been taking our Bailey (a 12.5 year old Wheaten terrier) to LPAH since he was a puppy. We have always had friendly and timely service from everyone there. Only major health issue had been a broken toe a few years ago handled nicely by Dr. Natalie Paul. However a year ago Bailey developed a large mass on his tail which initially was too close to his body for removal. He managed to live with it until a few months ago when it became chronically infected, enlarged and leaky and he was not comfortable. On a second review Drs. Paul and Larry Wilder reconsidered the tail removal and recommended that it was possible albeit some risk.

This left us to decide whether it was worth imposing this surgery on a relatively old dog both for his comfort level and also financially. However we received very practical advice from both Natalie and Larry and a reasonable cost estimate for the procedure; as well they took the time to collaborate with us to reach a decision if during the surgery Larry found some "unexpected" issues. Happily the surgery went very well and Bailey returned home the same day. He is recovering nicely. Everyone at LPAH has provided excellent and friendly service including the technicians and reception. Always a pleasure to go there although I don't think Bailey necessarily feels the same way.

We have been taking our family dog to LPAH for the last 10 years. The staff are lovely and the care they provide is excellent. Not only do we enjoy going to the vet with our dog (Chuck), but he enjoys it too! Even though I live downtown now, I'll be trekking with my new kittens to LPAH to see Dr. Wilder and the team. I adopted a 2 year old cat from a rescue about 6 weeks ago, and a month in, he began presenting with Fever Unknown Origin. Dr. Paul has been our primary vet but it's like the entire team is behind us.

Dr. Wilder and the rest of the staff at Lawrence Park Animal Hospital are absolutely incredible. I am a first time dog owner and this is my first puppy as well, so definitely was a little nervous going in but Dr. Wilder and everyone else there reassured me and made me feel so confident about being able to do this. They are extremely thorough and the vet tech stayed with me to show me how to clip my puppy's nails - something I was nervous to do. Overall this place is amazing and is the only place I would feel comfortable taking my dog.

Dr. Wilder and the entire team are amazing. They went above and beyond for my puppy when he needed emergency surgery. They spent so much time caring for him while he was recovering, and called me to tell me how he was every day until I could bring him home. You couldn't pick a better clinic to take care of your pet.

My cat was misdiagnosed at this vet. I was charged for 3 x-ray's, blood-work, ultra sounds, many medications, only to have to go to an emergency vet to have my cat looked at again. I called the vet, she didn't respond for over 30 hours claiming to be so busy. Horrible place to take a pet.

I have a 12 year old cat. Dr. Larry Wilder and all the crew were nice and professional. Taking care of a pet can be expensive. Dr. Larry Wilder was very patient, he was honest about our options and explain in details about the different kind of treatments and timing. Even my 4.5 year old had learning experience while attending our cat's examination. I highly recommend this clinic.

Everyone at Lawrence Park Animal Hospital is so welcoming and attentive! They take their time to make sure your pets are healthy and happy. Our French bulldog puppy Arnold has been very well looked after and we always receive a call to check in on him after he has visited.
