Switching was really easy and the agent was helpful and friendly and responded right away. Also saving around 20% too vs my previous broker!

Poor communication with client, with no accountability and no solutions offered. I have emailed 2 times and no response from S. Khan.the person who sent me 2 letters in the mail. I find your explanation extremely fishy especially if you cannot even respond to an email you provided in a letter.

My mother and I have used Lawrie to help insure multiple vehicles for years.

In July of this year (2023). My car was involved in a hit and run. $10k damage, including frame work. Gore ends up providing horrendous service to us, so I of course, reached out to my broker.

She definitely emailed Gore. But that was about all I think that was actually done.

I advised our broker of more no-help, and I am still waiting for the callback from Lawrie a week later. Emails have gone ignored.

My mom is pretty upset now and we are likely not only finding a new insurance company, it looks as we will probably be finding a new broker as well.

Update: Lawrie is still barely responding to anything and we have no idea what manager is doing what, as we haven’t heard a thing.

My boyfriend has been insured with Lawrie Insurance Group for years, and deals with Shareena Meakins. He has two vehicles and they are swapped seasonally, and every time he has to put one in and remove the other one from storage, she always makes the process so easy. I really enjoyed my experience working with Michael. It was my first time getting auto insurance in Ontario and he helped me navigate through how to get my Quebec driving experience recognized and help reduce my quote. He was extremely patient and available whenever I had any questions on the different options / providers available.

This was my father's broker for his tenant insurance. When he died I contacted them several times about updating them and paying his insurance since he was still on a lease. After several messages, all I received was emails and a letter stating his insurance was going to be terminated. When I finally got ahold of them (they never called back after several messages), they offered no condolences and only asked when payment was going to be received. They were almost 0 help in navigating the process of payment other then needing it ASAP. If you want a brokerage with 0 customer service there for you. Personally, I'm terrified if a claim has to be made after this experience.

This is the worst business I've ever had to deal with. Impossible to get ahold of anyone. They also charged me double the rate of what TD charged me for insurance.

I tried to get the quote from some other brokers and this broker was the only one that gave me the best quote.

I recently had repairs done to my vehicle due to a no fault of mine collision. Although there were many delays due to parts needing to be ordered that were slow in getting, the team at Dan Lawrie in particularly Mike Mendes was excellent, calling the insurance adjuster to speed things along where practical.
Anytime I contacted him for updates or my concerns, Mike was on it addressing all of them, right up to the time when my vehicles repairs were complete.

As a first time car owner needing new insurance, Faryal was very helpful getting me setup with the cheapest and best rate out there. Very pleasant experience!

Very satisfied with the service I received from Elizabeth finding a more seasonal and affordable car insurance for my wife and me, both over age 80 later this year. What helped us, is that when selling our home and moving to an apartment on Lakeshore Rd, able to be able to do a short walk to a shopping center, the post office & mail box, as well as a bus stop to get us to a major shipping center in only 4 minute by bus. So we do not need to drive with great saving by using Go train or Bus, while using our car for short trips were it would be less than convenient to use a bus.
