I have been going to Lazeez Grand Park location for quite some time now.no one makes my Chicken Shawarma wraps like Anu. She is the absolute best. She is always so welcoming, a pleasure to deal with and definitely an asset to that place. Thanks for the great service and excellent food preparation Anu.
Would not recommend this location to anyone, ordered a chicken on the sticks, noticed the chicken was dry, and when actually eating it noticed that they used franks red hot sauce instead of the hot sauce which is used the other locations, all in all totally not worth it to buy from here.
One of the best lazeez shawarma. Two ladies working there, made my shawarma plate. They listened me and made my shawarma plate very tasty and with care.
Save your money go somewhere else 2nd time trying it. I don't know why I wasted my money.drive somewhere else. You could teach monkeys to make better food.
The quality of meat is so bad. The meat had a funky smell and it was so dry. They just put a lot of sauce to cover the taste. I wish there was an option to give 0 stars!
I would give less than 1 star. They always get my order wrong! I asked for no spice and they give extra hot. I ordered a second time and they did the same thing. I waited over an hour to get the food and never got what I ordered. This place socks. I wonder if the employees can read English. UberEats should remove them from their site
I ordered Chicken Half and Half with fries and rice on doordash. The fries were not cooked and the rice were filled to the rim. The chicken was non existent almost. It's frustrating that you wait 30 min for delivery and then the food is not upto the quality. I almost feel they do it on purpose because they know its a delivery and the customer can't throw the food back at their face. Never ordering again. This restaurant needs quality control.
Ordered 2 Shawarma platters and a large sandwich, small fries. Quantity was huge! Meat was well cooked but too spicy for the “mild spicy” but otherwise fairly decent for the price.
Operated by unprofessional part timers. Running as a fast food restaurant. Chicken Meat was not fresh n no taste. Salads were looking not fresh. Price is comparable to other Middle Eastern Restaurants but quality is not matching.
They just took a VERY long time to even start my order. They seemed to be lounging around behind the counter rather than preparing any orders. I would consider rethinking about who’s been hired and maybe even just laying off these people. What a shame.
This is the worst Lazeez i've ever been to. My third time there (because of convenience, right across from me) I ordered a large shawarma and asked for extra garlic sauce. I had to watch the lady do it because I knew she wasn't going to. When I reminded her she told me she's putting it on the side. I said no i want it in the Shawarma. She proceeded to close my shawarma without adding extra sauce and bagged it. Also, their meat doesn't even look like chicken, it's super dark and mushy. They had loads of it sitting on the grill waiting to be used.for god knows how long which explains why I was puking at night. The quality of the shawarmas made are disgusting. They should be visited by a food inspector and they should also get new employees because the ladies that work there don't know what they are doing and don't listen to you clearly. I will continue to order from the Mavis and Eglinton location even though it's out of my way. It's worth it. Also, the workers should stop leaving 5 star reviews.
For the love of God save your money ordered 4 different things and 2 buddies got food poisoning the workers are trash, the worst customer service I've seen at any place I've been to. Please go elsewhere you've been warned.
One of the worst places to order thru Uber, I waited 2 hours for a soggy and cold shawarma that wasn't even 12 inch and medium spicy was to point where it wasn't even safe to eat, will never order at this place again
I just had it 5 minutes ago and it was the worst wrap of my life. Over the years I've had hundreds of chicken Shawarma wraps and routinely visit the Lazeez on Thomas & 10th line. Unlike that one, this location has super dry chicken that tastes like dry canned tuna with a hint of chicken flavouring. Gross. If you guys fix yourselves I'll fix my review.
Not sure how this location has an 8.5 on skip. My order was missing items I paid for, and the food that did come was also not prepared as I asked. The Lazeez special wrap is meant to come with pineapple (that's kind of what makes it what it is). No pineapple, and dry, tough bits of chicken. Beef shawarma toppings I ordered were also missing.
They also packed the cold cans of pop right next to the wraps, in the same bags, so the food was nice and cold when I got it. Genius, guys. Ice cold shawarma-an innovation!
Poor customer service. Argued about mistakes. Ordered two large shawarmas but they were wrapped as smalls. Didn't even know how to make the order I wanted. Poorly wrapped with nowhere near enough ingredients for the price. Go to ANY other Lazeez.
I ordered falafel wrap with some customization. Overall it was fresh and well prepared, great taste and portion size. I really appreciate that order was customized accordingly. Staff is very helpful and friendly.
The near is dry and taste nasty.i ordered a beef half and half, i removed all the meat and just ate the rice and fries with the sauce which was decent.the quality is not worth the price.
Poor customer service. I was single customer waiting at counter to place my order. Two staff members kept looking and ignoring without even acknowledging that a customer is waiting. After 5 minutes a second customer walked in and stood behind me. Girl at counter told him that she will be with him in couple of minutes.
Teach some manners to your staff that atleast acknowledge while a client is waiting and they should not pick and choose customer at their wish.
Food wasn’t cooked probably chicken was dry rice was uncooked and fires were still frozen the person was very greedy and every two seconds he would ask me to pay extra
This place was good when it was opened couple of months ago. I preferred lazeez over all other shawarma places but for some reason, this branch is equally poor in meet quality. Ordered beef half and half and it’s chewy and tasteless, the only decent thing is the rice, which was made with a rice cooker.
I ordered a veggie wrap with peppers olives lettuce tomatoes and onions. I received a wrap filled with meat. We are not meat eaters and when I called the restaurant they had the audacity to call them next day and speak up the manager! No apologies, nothing! So much for customer service.
Today is first time I tried this location and asked for beef on the rock, the guy took the precooked beef not from shawarma pit but from pre heated container which was cooked already in a pot. Extremely disappointed from their quality of food. Poor taste.
I love to Eat Lazeez Shawarma chicken rice and mostly on every weeekend. But unfortumately i will stop from.today as contineously its standard is getting low day by day. Today i ordered two medium meal but quality of rice amd chicken was si baf that after eating first spoon i stopped eatong as chicken was litterly hatd and black burned as you can see in attached pic.
I went to this location a few times because sometimes, not often, the meal is good enough. However, the other times, it is bad. I think I know why. The chicken is prepared in advanced, most time overcooked, and stored in the containers, for who knows how long, to be served. The few times I got a good meal was probably because I got lucky and the chicken was just freshly prepared and not overcooked. It's not even that busy, why prepare all that chicken in advance?
I think it's just a general problem with franchising. The new branches looses its "soul" from the main branch. Every time I go there, I see someone new working. Yes, it's cheaper and easier just to hire temp workers who have no experience in making middle eastern food. On the surface it looks easy. You're just throwing prep food together, like subway. But a shawarma is more than that. The chicken needs to be fresh and cooked right, the meat to vegetable ratio needs to be balanced, and even getting it toasted perfectly takes experience.
I wished someone from the main branch would train this branch on how to properly cook this style of food. It's probably survived by Pizza Pizza next door. Otherwise, I don't see how much longer this branch can survive with this quality of food.
Should have read the reviews before purchasing from here. Ordered chicken on the sticks and the fries were STALE. There's a difference between fries being cold and them being HARD and stale. Never again. Do not order from here.
I asked the lady to give me the freshly cooked chicken, she gave me from the one already in the container, when we ate, in almost every other bite some odd texture and taste was coming in mouth. When I watched closely it was dry burnt pieces of chicken in that. When you go there pkease tell them give the fresh not from container.
We are regular customers of lazeez shawarma but Very bad experience from this frenchise I ordered chicken shawarma and that was full of cabbage only. Also baklawa was not fresh at all I just wasted my money there, never go there
Believe the other reviews. Service at this place is terrible. We repeated our order 5 or 6 times and they still kept trying to upsell us on the phone. Finally when we went in I asked her to give us exactly what was listed on the menu and she insisted on challenging me, blatantly arguing the fact that she kept overcharging us for something we didn't want. Finally we gave in and just took what they wanted to make us lol but will never return. All that arguing for an extra dollar upsell that we didn't even want? Who is training the staff here? Geez
We ordered two non spicy shawermas with garlic and pickles. Instead we got just chicken and really spicy sauce.no garlic no pickles.it was so bad and spicy we couldnt continue eating it. The fries were like plastic. We both had severe nausea that continued the day after! We will never eat there ever again nor in the other branches.so so bad
Might be the worst lazeez i've been to.the service was really slow (Took 20 minutes) I ordered the chicken on the rocks. They didnt give a lot of chicken and it was really dry and drenched with too much sauce. Hopefully they can improve as I live really close by to that location.
Ordered chicken on the rocks. Hardly any chicken and was drenched with too much sauce. The chicken pieces were unevenly cut with huge pieces coming in between. I would avoid this place.
NOT RECOMMEND THIS IS NOT MEAT AND WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND YOU MIGHT GET SICK AND I SAW THE GUY WHO IS MAKING THE FOOD GRABBING FOOD FROM FLOOR PUTTING BACK ON THE SANDWICH PLS BE CAREFUL THIS OWNER Doesn’t CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS ONLY HIS POCKET: ( VERY BAD NASTY SERVICE AND PORTION
First experience only one person ahead of me and the person serving them took forever. I was in there for at least 30 minutes total for one Shawarma. SECOND experience called to pick up and toppings on my order were wrong.
I had a terrible experience with this restaurant. I ordered their chicken on the sticks online through uber eats and they gave me the item without any chicken on it. The fries very soggy even though I mentioned specifically that i needed fresh fries. When i went to the store to complain. I was harassed by the receptionist and the owner of the restaurant. They are not ready to accept their mistake and was very rude to me in front of other customers DONT BUY!
We are a regular customer of Lazeez Shawarma but the food we ordered from this Lazeez location was our worst experience with Shawarma. The portion was small as compared to other Lazeez locations. Ceasar salad was nothing but a box full of stale lettuce. Please see the picture of the ceasar salad. We ended up returning the food to the location (Without a refund from the restaurant).
