Lazeez Shawarma

This place has treated me like a home away from home. Every lady and man who works here has made me feel absolutely amazing and at this point it is religion for me to eat lazeez at least once a week. And specifically this location.

The always amaze me with there kind service and I know for a fact they are the best lazeez around.

Not much meet in the shawarma sandwich. It tased like a veggie sandwich with sauce. Not going back there anymore

Aside from the food being absolutely delicious, David and Harpeet bring a joyous energy to this location every time I come here that makes me want to come back just for that. I would highly recommend this location.

The food is amazing. I came today around 10pm. There was a lady and a guy. They were super nice. They made sure my order was correct. The service was great also. Would recommend.

Ordered online and the guy with the beard kept insisting he didn’t get my order even after i showed it to him that it was confirmed and I was charged. He wouldn’t give me my food after paying! Avoid this place at all costs!

The 5 stars is for the servers. Always trying their best and also giving great recommendations. The only place where when you say extra sauce, you actually get extra. The food is good as well.

First time trying Lazeez. Delicious chicken and beef shawarma sandwiches. I asked for everything in regard to toppings. Was great topping selection including turnip, olives, parsley. Well sauced, not dry at all.

It was very bad, the beef was not fresh at all, at least a day old and they didn't even warm it. The salad has no dressing. The girl was putting the salad with her hand (with gloves) then went to serve other people and taking money and opening the fridge and then came back to continue serving the salad with the same gloves on. How hygienic!

Ordered a large chicken half and half was very dissatisfied when I got home and opened my food container to find that it was covered in Buffalo hot sauce not the original lazeez hot sauce it completely ruined the experience. I don't know if they ran out but at least could have let me know ahead of time.

Good shawarma wrap and beef on the rocks. Large portions. Takeout order was ready sooner than expected. Will definitely go back again!

Don’t go here unless you want to get rudely laughed at and eyes rolled at you by staff for not understanding them when they have heavy accents.

Best Shawarma in Richmond Hill! The wraps are made so that each bite you get to taste the meat with the veggies. The taste is flavourful and the meat is juicy. Hot sauce is a must for spice lovers and the garlic & tahini sauce adds a punch to the already great taste. The falafel is also very tasty for vegetarians. Definitely recommended!

The small chicken on rocks is a little on the expensive side for the amount provided. And the lid for the small container doesn't close down properly when they package it for take out. So just be aware it's gonna be messy when you unpackage. (Notice the tissue underneath the container to make sure my table doesn't get dirty with sauce.) However it does taste good.

The food was good. Poutine is okay. Just please make the option in the rice to remove the onions.

Too much sauce but not like Future said. It’s the bad kind of too much sauce man had to drink his way through the shawarma

My family came to this place the first time today, and were greeted with speedy and quality service. Thank you for the food.

Went here since it wasnt too far from my house went in and immediately was told they cant take any orders because they had a big order, how can a business deny a customer as they walk in. My suggestion for everyone either order online or dont take the chance of possibly being served.

I have been staying at Richmond Hill for the past two months and Lazeez is my favourite go to place for a quick lunch! The chicken shawarma platter is a must try!

For twice, I was not satisfied with the services at this place. I usually came after 9 PM, I ordered large chicken shawarma wrap but when I got home it was not even the size of small it was almost bread with few tapping, not for what I had paid in comparison with other times when it was as I ordered. Another time, I paid for large chicken shawarma wrap and I was given small and missed chicken in it.

Maybe they are tired

We had a group lunch for a celebration and it was over 20 people. Muhammad took great care of us! Order was easy and food was delicious and huge portion. I went back to pick up dinner for my husband and I and again it was amazing, my husband is hooked. Great service and good, highly
recommended.

Spent 75 bucks for the family to eat. The food was salty and there was so much sauce it was so bad. Also, the service was terrible. They play loud music and you can't hear what they are saying. I was getting the cutlery (only got 4 forks) and mid way through, one of the guy took the cutlery basket away but the basket was still full of cutlery which I found was very rude. Will not be coming back because I had better shawarma and service at Osmos and honestly everywhere else.

They have amazing food and really good customer service the best item on the menu would be the chicken poutine but everything else also tastes amazing

I ordered chicken on the rocks on Door-dash It was too salty and none of the instructions were followed. The side was missing. The food was completely wasted. Please give good food for customers. Disappointed.

Note: This is my 4th order from this location. First 2 times I got good food. Now it’s horrible.
I’m not coming back again.

The restaurant is very clean in the morning. The staff are super friendly. I come here often and it’s my favourite restaurant. Recommend it

Tried to call in to place an order over multiple days. No one ever picks up the phone. One time they even picked it up to deliberately hang it up. Rude and bad way to conduct a business. Take your money elsewhere, food is not bad but I am not going to support a business that clearly doesn't care about their customers.

Other franchises of lazeez have been very rude to me too I am a very calm and patient person (I work in customer service, so I am aware of the importance of treating the people who serve you with respect) I have no idea why they feel the need to be mean. Have never had any issues like this with any restaurant before.

I really hate to leave A bad review, however it’s warranted. I ordered the Philly steak. It was gross. The meat was not what you would expect for Philly steak. It was tough. Flavour was not good. Seasoning was thick. Lacking on the cheese. Worker was not putting any care in preparing the food. She put too much hot sauce on my wrap. The wrap was falling apart. I took a few bites and I threw it out.

My daughter ordered the chicken shawarma on rice. Before we were even asked if we wanted garlic sauce, the worker covered the shawarma meat in sauce. A lot of sauce. My daughter said her meal was good, which is why the rating was bumped to a 3

So my recommendation is stick to your traditional shawarma meat and ask for light sauce

I come to this store very often and I enjoy their food.it’s always very clean especially in the morning. The staff are super welcoming and nice. Deserves more than 5 stars:)

Specifically told them for just a lettuce and hummus shawarma, nothing else. They somehow still messed that up and mixed my order! Only order on the menu if you wanna eat here.

Horrible experience! Ordered once shish tawwouk got shredded chicken shawarma called to complain they said they ran out of shish tawouk. Called few times nobody answers phone. Called at 9 when they close at 10 and lady answered and said sorry we are closed.

They don't even ask you what toppings you want on the wrap. They put random toppings on the wrap without asking you

Messed up the whole order. Workers there didn't seem do know how to properly make the food and didn't seem to care at all. I ordered a mixed platter and the beef was just chewy and not edible.

The 2 chicken shawarma I ordered also have no garlic sauce and had all the wrong toppings. And the worker making then didn't seem to care at all.

I've been to many branches but this location is just awful. I'll never be coming here again.

It’s pretty clear that they weren’t prepared for shawarma day. The location at Elgin mills and Yonge seriously is lacking on prioritizing the customers in the store. They spent their entire time taking orders through Uber and leaving the customers inside. I was waiting 30-40 before they even let the line move. Instead of taking orders they put a sign up saying “we are not taking orders anymore”? This was at 6pm, but the store closes at 12am. I have no idea if that’s even allowed, closing 6 hours before closing time. I should’ve just ordered through Uber than wait here because that’s what they obviously care about. A very disappointing service.

The 2 ladies that were working today made mine and several others their chicken shawarma plates and they put so much less chicken than this place normally does. I've been going 2-3 times a week to this restaurant and the other ladies and guys always put a normal amount of chicken. I asked the lady to please put some more chicken and I'm not even kidding, she literally put maybe a tablespoon of chicken more on top lol.she said you'll have to pay $3 for another scoop of chicken - even though she already under put the chicken.

Please have a standard of how much chicken to put, not just whoever does whatever they want

Tried to give this place another chance but had the same thing happen, except funny thing was I paid the extra $3.50 for double the chicken and the lady put the same as a regular plate. I said "sorry i paid for more chicken" and she looked at the screen and saw i did and put literally half a scoop more. Not to be rude or ignorant, but come on what a joke. You guys are seriously messed up to think you'll last with this kind of customer service? I said "is that how much double chicken is? " And she ignores me and rolls her eyes.you guys are a joke. For $16.60 i think I'd go somewhere else

Terrible staff, person that makes the orders doesn't read the receipts properly so constantly getting orders mixed up. Cashier doesn't know what to do when the credit/debit machine breaks, creates a huge line and no sign of cash only. Wasted my time and a bunch of people's time, will absolutely never come back

I have ordered a couple of times here. I have done massive orders and they have always accommodated so much. The owner and staff are very friendly and service is outstanding. Taste of food is amazing! Strongly recommend to friends and family!

I tried this place for the first time since it opened and ordered a chicken shawarma wrap. The pita bread they were using seemed to be of a low grade or quality as it kept breaking on them. The server threw out the first one as it crumbled in her had, than as she filled the next slice of pita bread and began folding it, it also broke on her and had to throw it out as well. A male server saw what was happening, and grabbed another slice of pita bread and began stuffing another sandwich, as he was folding it, it slightly broke, but he supported it with the white wrapping paper and put it on the grill.

You only need to put it on the grill for about 2-3 minutes, but it was now approaching close to 5 minutes and I was worried the bread would harden and break further since it was already a low grade. When I told the male server about my concern, he didn't seem to understand or know this would happen. He removed it, and luckily it was just at the threshold before it would harden. It broke on me a little as I tried to eat, but I was able to get through it. The sandwich was okay, the chicken was sliced so small, that it was like eating minced chicken. You couldn't really taste the flavour of the chicken shavings a typical shawarma sandwich typically offers. I didn't really enjoy the sandwich, and the low grade pita bread they are using didn't leave me very impressed.

Toppings are very old and wet for some reason this was the worst shawarma in the gta they keep there meats in a steamer which defeats the purpose of shawarma it was like I was ordering a burrito. This was a horrible experience honestly I do not recommend…shut it down ASAP

My order was messed up twice. Also they handed me back 5 dollars of change in quarters? Poor service.

I tried the new Shawarma place and was extremely impressed by the chicken shawarma dinner platter made by Arash.

Have tried out this place twice and both times I’ve experienced the same issue.

I ordered chicken shawarma wrap (regular size). But it’s not properly made wrap? A proper wrap is when you lie out the whole wrap + put all ingredients evenly + roll the wrap back and grill it. But They use half pita then stuff the ingredients one on top of another one. And it comes out as a uneven rolled pita not a real rolled proper wrap.

The other issue is I asked for little hot sauce, when I started eating the ‘wrap’ there was no hot sauce.half way no hot sauce.then in the end “little” hot sauce hits you hard. The problem again lies in the way they put/spread the ingredients.

I’m giving 3 stars only because it tasted good and the service was friendly. But unless they change the way they do the wrap (or just call it half cut chkn PITA, not chkn WRAP) I wouldn’t order it again.
Next time I’ll try one of the platters, without any pitas

Ordered Chicken Shawarma platter for takeout. Wonderfully packaged and the food was delicious and portions were just right! Will definitely eat here again!

We tried lazeez for the first time a few months ago in Brampton and everyone in our family really liked it. We found out a location opened near us and have been going almost every week now but everytime we go, the workers have become more and more stingy. Very inconsistent food preparation and just never know how it'll be next time. The worker this time was literally counting each chicken piece? I dont know if we will stick around to find out how it'll be next time. Super disappointed

Awesome place. Great flavors and their Lazeez is super tasty and great portion as well. Very glad this place opened up here. I'm already a regular here. Highly recommended.

Best place ever there shawarma and chilly fries were soooooooo good and when i asked them for a Canadian flag they gave it to me.

Ordinary, drenched in sauce, can’t taste anything but the sauce. The meat had no char or caramelization, (they were cooking it on the flattop, probably they couldn’t cook it fast enough). Still looking for a good shawarma.

I had Mixed Shawarma but it just was not intact. It was a soup in your hand. It had way too much garlic sauce. Everything fell apart.

I just was able to have two bites then threw it in the garbage.

I believe, who knew how to make real shawarma did not make the shawarma but they made some inexperienced untrained people making shawarma for new customers.

I went there today and the staff was so kind and the customer service was great. The food is great too i got mix shawarma platter. 100% recommend. Would go there again soon.
