We bought chicken on rice last night and it came with full of oil. The food was cold and not eatable. The rice was dipped inside excessive oil. Given, we trashed the food. See attached,
Reminds me of the first location. I still can't forget that amazing popular shawarma. Super authentic. I have tried many Lazeez locations but this is the one in GTA which felt very close and authentic to the original Lazeez. No matter how many fake AI reviews I see. I WILL keep visiting this location if I feel like going for shawarma. Decent prices, you don't get a good fulfilling meal under 15$ anymore, except here. Always go for authenticity, and don't fall for fake stores nearby that open only for money. Choose the ones who show love for food. Very generous in sauces and portions.
I went to this place, the person working was so nice and polite and made me fresh falafel sandwich. It was so yummy. The best thing is they are open at night, i went there at around 2: 30am. Worth the price. Fresh and balanced toppings.
The place has always been good but last 2 times been terrible.first got a piece if pastic in my sandwich and today I asked twice that I want chili fries and I get home I get fries with a spray of hot spice. I asked chili fries twice. TWICE
Mannn, I need to try very hard not to go there every day. Food is so good. Edit- All the lazeez spots have gone downhill, much better new places opened up. I recommend Lezzet
Quick service. Nice polite staff. Their mild spice option is pretty hot. Not recommended for anyone suffering from acid reflux. I ordered half of mild (which means a few dots of hot sauce) and am suffering from burning as I write.
The best Lazeez location by far. Been coming here for 6 years now, and been to every other Lazeez location within at least a 100km radius, and none come close. Never had a bad experience in probably hundreds of visits, any bad reviews are likely one-offs
The foods taste good. The price is reasonable. No dining-in allowed at the moment. The place always crowded, especially in the evening time, which people need to get foods for dinner, probably. It will be line-up when the time for dinner. The place is not big. They accept credit card payment. The staff are friendly. They also have rice with lentils plus fried onions. Recommended for family dinner take-out.
Worst service, don’t even ask you what you want on wrap.making so many at same time and give you one without you choose your veggies or sause.when you ask they lie that you said everything
Not a big fan Lazeez, but a huge fan of specially this location, and that is because of the owners. Very humble and caring. I live in milton and have a lazeez here too but if we feel like having it we make sure to go to this tenth line location in Mississauga. Their food quality is good fresh as compare to some other lazeez locations.
Hello everyone I hope everybody actually takes the time to read this review before going to this restaurant.during high school I much enjoyed this restaurant when I first came out it was somewhat decent and fresh however over the years it has gotten progressively worse and worse and worse.as once the show room was cooked fresh now it is simply cooked over the grill this is no longer authentic Arab food but commercialized fast food that serves a disgrace of a shawarma. I like the state that I really do miss how it once was but it will never come back.are you at everyone to genuinely avoid this restaurant as well as its other franchises the quality of the food is horrendous the chicken and the beef even the bread are just horrible. The fact of the matter is ever since this chain blowup it became garbage go waste your money at McDonald’s at least you’ll Get somewhat consistent cheap food please do not waste your money here if you would like real food especially a Shawarma I highly advise you to go to a local business and spend your money there. I’m a private citizen and I am not trying to shame this franchise i’m just trying to advise you of the truth this is not a good place to eat at all period.
Great place friendly staff and owner always greeting. Everything made there is great, but my go too is the Philly chicken on a bun, the best I've had and always fresh! Good place to check out.
The food is pretty good, but they often get the order wrong and sometimes you call in your order but they don’t have a record of it when you show up. Big waste of time
Best Shawerma place in Mississauga. Poutin with chicken Shawerma is mouth watering. The new owner and management are awesome and providing exceptional customer service
I don’t think I have run into issues at this location ever. When you cant think of anything else lazeez is a no brainer. Its filling and for the price you cant go wrong.
They have a special from 10-close from Sunday to Thursday where regular size is for $6.50 pretty decent.
Nov 06.2020 update
I dont see the point of calling in before hand to place the order when you have to line up and place the order again. Wait times wasnt too horrible but there seemed to be a lil bit of delay as it orders placed after me were being served before and we were being told that they were waiting on fries to come in.
One of the orders had barely any chicken taste wise they were all okay the usual but chicken was scare so was the sauce in one order. I guess while they made us wait for fries they loaded it too much when they finally showed up.
This was the first restaurant I tried when I came to Canada. Someone recommended me to try shawarmas from lazeez because I really missed my Pakistani food. And surprisingly me and my brother interacted with the owner and he suggested us to buy the philly cheese and steak. I will be honest I was super skeptical but the food turned out to be super good. It was actually so fresh and nice that lazeez has been my go to place since that day. I 100% recommend all of you to try it.
Absolutely terrible customer service and communication over the phone. I order on the phone every single time so when I get there the food is ready. But instead they leave me on hold for a very long time and forget my orders. Once my food is ready there is a 85% chance that they forget to make a whole order or forget it’s a combo. It is also unprofessional and cheap that they write orders on a notebook when placing orders on the phone and not on the cash register like other restaurants. This has happened multiple times but I’ve always gave them chances however they NEVER learn from their mistakes.
Great experience! Food was fresh and delicious.staff was kind and understanding! They make your food according to your instructions no matter how busy it gets. I really appreciate their services and hard work!
Ordered a large shawarma chicken wrap basically the regular bread was doubled to two pcs to give the large size and stuffed with regular shawarma meat quantity and was basically eating rolls of bread. Not going there anymore and good luck with cost cutting and charging more.
Great place. Personally, I feel like the food here tastes much better than Osmows. I usually buy the Lazeez on the rocks (rice) with extra white sauce.
Came here an hour and a half before closing time. When I got to my work (1min drive away) the chicken on the rocks was COLD. Chicken rice sauce everything. I called the place to tell them, and the guy basically said there’s no way it can be cold because the chicken is “kept heated” and the rice is “straight out of the rice cooker”. Not an apology or anything. I asked if I can come back in and get it fixed he said no. He said “I can heat it for you but there’s nothing else I can do” so I said thanks for nothing and hung up. Don’t waste your time or money!
Bad experience, the French fries were as cold as ice, shawarma was fine, Alot of salt in French fries, will not repeat Hamilton laziz, I am fan of Mississauga lazeez.
Really dirty food. The customer service is even worse. They make you feel like you are wasting their time. The manager gives you the impression that he is above everyone making staff and customers feel like they are beneath him. Simply horrible.
In the past lazeez used to be very good and have excellent food. Customer service used to be stellar. This can be seen as lazeez frequently has long line ups. Recently lazeez is plummeting. It's food is bland and does not taste the same as before. Customer service is also trash and are very rude to customers. Staff messed up order and blamed customers. If possible eat somewhere else.
The workers for the 11 AM shift were very rude. I asked for a Lazeez on the rocks with just fries, and they gave me a half and half, I tried to tell them that this wasn’t my order but the workers lashed out against me, telling me that I’m wrong. One of the workers even rudely told me that I was calling her crazy, she was the one that prepared my food. And the cashier was siding with her. There were two other customers that confirmed that I ordered full fries, but the workers wouldn’t remake my food and told me to take it or leave it.
Poor customer service, super pricey, doesn't taste good I gave it try a second time or even third time, not worth at all. Feel offended when ordering, two girls kept laughing when I was trying to figure out what size to order
I visit my brother and family in Mississauga twice a year, each time I leave for the airport, I buy swarma. Each time, Miss. Owner makes me excellent swarma. In few hours I am leaving Canada, as usual, will get swarma on the way to airport.
This place has gotten worse over the years. Originally it started out great with good portion size and decent customer service. Now they do everything in their power to just rush every order. They drench everything whether it’s a sandwich or salad in “garlic sauce”. Don’t get me wrong the sauce is tasty, but I didn’t ask for an inch layer of it.
When Lazeez owner's wife I believe opened up this one it was good until new management took it over. That new guy is very unsettling and very cheap. Hate that this place occupies a spot in the local plaza. So many garbage shawarma spots around this area now. Fries often under cooked. Meat sometimes suspect. Sauces very inconsistent Always very sick after eating here. Dont get a regular on the rocks they fill it with so much god damn rice and try and give you little to no chicken. Neighborhood would be better if they shut down and let a decent shawarma spot open up
We’ve been coming here for years and years and the service I got today was beyond awful. We always call ahead with a big order and today I noticed that the portions were smaller than usual and I asked the guy working if they’ve been mandated to make the portions smaller even though they just raised the prices and he said YES. I noticed the next person in line with one order had a full portion and I questioned why he was getting a full portion while my containers were half full. And they said oh no it’s the same. The worst part is they started to smirk at each other and roll their eyes as if I’m the idiot. Non existent customer service and made me feel like an idiot for spending the $60.
2 chicken shawarma with rice I purchased today - the chicken is super duper salty - I called the store just to let them know and the response just ohh.ok.
One of the OG Shawarma brands in GTA. Chicken on the Rocks still has the same great taste and fairly good service at this location. Can get pretty packed at night and there isn’t many tables to dine in. Best to take out.
They messed up our order, after making me wait 20 minutes, but this was not their first time that they had goofed up. Our food was prepared poorly too, very sloppy. I called them to speak with their Management. I was told that they appreciated my feedback and that Management was away for a couple of hours (until closing time). I left my number with them to call back, but 24 hours later, still haven't heard back. Not what they used to be.
Ordered an on the rocks, the chicken wasn’t hot. Complained to the manager and he gave excuse that the tahini makes it cold. I asked him to check the chicken temperature and he was like it’s the temperature we serve. Any food under 60C is hazardous and healthy inspectors strictly mention it in licensing, but they are still serving cold chicken that don’t fresh. Very bad location.
Absolutely disheartened by the quality control at lazeez on tenth line w, definitely not nearly as good as the lazeez at creditview, and i could say the same about the flavour of their food. Their to-go boxes dripped and leaked heaps of oil that turned the whole dishs' taste awful. Their chicken in a shawarma was not cooked, almost raw, on another occasion. The staff was not polite at all, quite rude actually, and management refused to take ownership when confronted about the situation (LOL @ manager). Terrible quality, would not recommend wasting a dollar at this branch. Tbh this branch does not even deserve to be lazeez shawarma, better off as its predecessor "nicks shawarma". Dusty mans.
Food is good but the workers disrespected my mom and brother when they came to pick up a big order for about 30 people.they didn't make the order correct and didn't accept their mistake which is really unprofessional.
This place made me feel pretty sick after eating it. Gave me a poor opinion of Lazeez until I tried one in Oakville. Made me realize that it's just this spot that isnt as clean/delicious.
