Lazeez Shawarma

Very little meat doesn't justify the price. It's a ripoff. I returned after a year and won't return again.

Absolutely the worst chicken shawarma and mixed shawarma. Very dry chicken. I swear it tasted like tuna. Stale and had bad odour for the mix shawarma. Lazeez is famous for their chicken shawarma but this location is ABSOLUTELY worst!

They are not hygienic at all. The person who started making my wrap answered the phone and went to the cash machine and came back to continue doing my wrap without changing the gloves. The second person who continue prepping my wrap because the other one got another call, re used a pair of gloves that were sitting on the dusty counter. I want Throw up.

The worst lazeez branch i ever visited yesterday night i went there and ordered chicken poutine that was terrible the poutine sauce was not even warm and was super clumpy and cold and they literally added 5-6 cubes of cheese, the girl was talking so loud over the phone and holding phone in her hand while making the order and the songs over the tv was super loud overall the customer service and the food was terrible.

Very bad customer service, and chicken was very smelly I feel sick. This is terrible business should be shut down.the owners and people working here do not deserve to be serving food. Yes It was that rotten!

It was late at night on Canada Day & although many places were closed, I couldn’t be any happier seeing the fluorescent “OPEN” sign on Lazeez’s window.

The customer service was superb & the server was REALLY attentive to my order that I was placing (especially cause it was for my partner! XD) they had all the goods in stock + the vibe was great, music had my head bobbing & all!

Had one of the best food ever. Really craving for more. Plus the staff the girl and the boy on counter are really nice and friendly. Really suggested.

What a waste of money and effort.if you are selling something as an owner, taste your food once and think realistically whether or not you would come back to buy anything again.the answer i am sure will be NO. Becasue your food has no taste.if copying your competitor then why not do a better job or come up w your own receipe.but, it has to be better or equal quality otherwise why not go to Osmows.treat your customers w respect by first giving them a quality food.

One of the best shawarma i have eaten in long time. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Would recommend 100% here.

Great little place - the food is delicious and service is excellent! Be careful of the spice level - it’s definitely got a kick? The servings are very generous as well! We will definitely come back - less spice next time

Rice was hard and there was a ton of salt on the chicken. The credit view location is 10x better than this place

The worker and owner of this store are freaking cheap and unhygienic. They are just screwing lazeez reputation.

Great chicken shawarma and falafel every time. Note: medium spice is spicy for those not expecting it. Tasty sauce though! Hot is too much for me and I generally order hot elsewhere.

Really horrible experience. We brought food for 3 people and all 3 people in the family have been vomiting and been sick since yesterday. I brought falafal and 3 on the rocks. Really bad food and horrible experience. Wouldn’t recommend

Can’t even finish this. I’ve ordered lentil rice and shish tawook from he credit view location many times. I recently moved to the meadow vale area and grabbed the usual from the Argentia one and the lentils and rice are hard or undercooked. Chicken doesn’t taste the same. Better off driving to credit view where food is 100 times better. Will never be trying this location again!

Worst Lazeez location by far. I recommend going to a different location or the Osmows close by, I encourage you to read more below before choosing to buy food from this location.

I live close to this Lazeez so I order from here often and I can confidently say the quality control has deteriorated over the years. The quality of the food comes out inconsistently every time.

Sometimes the food comes decent at best with the chicken lukewarm and the fries not crispy, but tolerable. However when the food is bad it’s really bad. Rubbery, dry chicken that’s been sitting out cold for 30+ minutes, fries with a consistency that feels as if you’re biting into a raw potato and to top it off, the bare minimum of sauce possible (you must pay an added charge for extra sauce). It’s also important to note that when this Lazeez performs at its worst, the only thing carrying the meal is the sauce, which you must now pay extra for.

Additionally, for food service apps such as skip the dishes and uber eats, the employees/owner never follow the additional instructions. This is either out of the ignorance that an additional request has been made, or they’re trained not to follow them. I don’t know which is worse.

Don’t spend your hard earned money here as I can definitely say there is a big chance to disappoint.

Used to be my favorite.this week the server acted like he did not give a hoot.the wrap was not toasted properly and was cold when I got home.the wrap tasted like raw dough.disappointing.

Use to come here when I worked in the area and the staff was so nice and food was so good. Went back today and was so disappointed. 13 bucks isn’t a big deal but the wrap was absolute garbage. They hardly put anything in it and it was cold. Chicken had no flavour. Infact, nothing did. Not impressed at all.

By far the best location. I will drive past other lazeez to go to this one as the quality and quantity are way better than the rest. The owner is very kind and friendly. My fav post gym meal or after work late night bite!

Inconsistent. Don't follow order instructions on Skip, the rice is often super salty to the point where the taste is unbearable at times. Osmows and Villa Madina are much better.

Owner/manager could use some work on his horrible attitude. Chicken on the rocks tasted like it was sitting outside for the whole day, and to put the icing on the cake, it took 10 minutes to receive my cold food. I wish we could put 0 stars because they don’t even deserve one star. 0/5

It rarely happens that you are hungry but still can't eat it because the quality is so bad. Rice are uncooked and chicken is so dry and have no taste.

Placed order on phone for takeout. Told should be ready in 10 mins, waited 25 mins for order & one order was wrong when we got home to eat. Food was dry too.

I rarely give a one-star rating, but my experience at this location was extremely disappointing. The person who works there has no idea what customer service is (no hello or thanks). I ordered a large lazeez on the rox, and the lady who prepared my food barely put any chicken on it. She stuffed it up with rice and sprinkled a tiny layer of chicken enough to cover the rice. The chicken was tasteless and the rice was cold.

Taste is same as other Laseez. I'm not so fond of their taste. I prefer Osmow's. But here it is not bad as well. Service was so good. He let us take time to decide. Small restaurant.

Update November 2021:

My initial concern with this location was that they previously microwaved rice in styrofoam, exposing cancer chemicals to the food. Since then all lazeez locations have been given rice warmers. I will be removing my initial complaint from this review. This place has improved since. I will be improving my rating to 3 stars, from 2. I have visited them often and inspected their service. Sure their customer service isn’t super friendly, but they serve the food well. Only thing is the rice can sometimes be too mushy (too much water). Also, the seasoning isn’t always consistent. But overall good for what it is.

Generous portions, tasty food, and best of all, its open late at night.my go-to as a night shifter.

Disrespectful people working here. Told me my card declined yet it was taken care of. Repeated herself about 12 times to make me feel lesser. Learn to treat people with respect. Absolutely garbage service don't go here.

Came here to eat wraps Magdy was working who served us great food and customer service was excellent.

The location is not always consistent fresh and clean with the food. I’m usually here 3 times a week late night. My friend did not like the food for the first time.

Fantastic food, usually get on the rocks, quick service always fresh and delicious one of the better Lazeez locations

Super disappointed in the quality lately. Won’t be going back here. Last three times I went there food was ice cold, fries were super old, and you get burnt pieces of fries in some of your orders. Most recently I went on Friday, Called In to complain and was told someone would call me back. It is now Sunday still haven’t heard from the manager or supervisor about anything. Disappointing to say the least.

There chicken is very dry and less and they don't care they start making shawarma there way lazeez is best but this location sucks I always ignore small things but this is definitely not good place to have lazeez

The food here is amazing, they never keep you waiitng always and most importantly always give you the extras you need! The chicken on the stix is my favorite:)

The guy has high attitude while serving. His way of talk is total unprofessional. I'm not surprised why this location has rating only 3 something.
Better locations nearby where employee & owner who can serve clients with respect and professionally. Never come back here even it will be last Lazeez Shawarma location.

Too much salty rice, uncooked, terrible flavour worst experience at any lazeez outlet. I buy from lazeez every week but this location is not up to the mark.

They don't fully cook the chicken on the rotisserie, the chicken is usually pretty dry, their shawarma wraps are always messy and soggy, and their rice is not even cooked properly sometimes. I've received severely overcooked, mushy rice, and I've received undercooked, hard rice.

This place is my vice, I always gave them a second chances by choosing to eat there again, but they always give me COLD Shawarmas, frozen toppings, cold chicken, I'd even tell them extra toasted, but that stuff is soo cold its doesn't even do anything, and the spice ratios are terrible, when I said Mild, they give it to me like its Suicide, when i say medium, there is no sauce to taste like. I've decided to never come back here again.

This location Food taste is quite disappointing, I really like lazeez's Food but I tried couple of time from this location, It made me upset as rice and chicken both seemed uncooked.

Not only did this guy not give me what i asked for, he stood there arguing with me about it and completely ruined the experience. Please spend your money somewhere where people actually care.

Got 4 schwarmas and 3 of 4 disintegrated and broke into pieces which we then had to eat with fork and discard. Issue was stale quality of wrap which caused it. Called up the location and let them know it was really poor this time. Will not recommend and probably not visit this location for next few months in 2021.

I picked up Friday's special at that location on January 8th around 4pm. It is very disappointing that the chicken tasted funny. I will not come back to this Argentia Lazeez Shawarma location for any food pickup in near future.

This place was great. Made fast and fairly priced. The lunch special I ordered turned out to be dinner as well since there was too much food (no complaints)

I was there today ordered lazeez on the sticks with no spice. The girl putting my order together must have not read it right and put mild sauce on it. When she said my order was ready, I said that's not my order. I asked for no spice. She grabbed it and tried to jus take off the top layer mean while it's all over the container and already soaked on some of the fries. I said no can you please change the container there is mild sauce all over it. She changes the container. But there was still red sauce that soaked in my fries. Had to throw half of it out. Won't go back there again. The least you could have done for messing up my order is remake it but I guess your that cheap and would rather loose a customer.

Completely screwed up my order for delivery. I never recieved a meal and had to order a second meal from a different restaurant. Not impressed.

Taste differs between locations. This one was ok. Overloaded that stuff kept leaking from sides. Too much rice, too little beef. At another location, beef was super yummy but this was so so.second time at this location - not impressed.

The taste and the looks of the order were way below average. Has nothing to do with a good shawarma. Wouldn’t recommend!

Very quick, and the chicken is cooked well. They give you lots of chicken, you are typically full after eating here. Staff are nice, and the place is clean.

No better Shawarma place out there in GTA. One of those foods which I can eat everyday and still enjoy every bite

They promote a platter and get something totally different, taste not as good as it used to be before. Will never go back

Chicken was dry and rice was hard. At 8pm, there was so much chicken on the grill and in the serving container in the bar and they were still making more. I wonder how old the chicken I ate was. Salad dressing was so diluted I barely tasted anything. Potatoes were cooked through but not very flavorful. I had to eat most of my chicken with the potatoes because the rice was so hard. Serving size was crazy big for the full platter though.

Please whatever it takes dont eat at this location. Very very old rice heated in the microwave lentil rice that is. Beef shawarma pre.cooked from days ago smelled horrible i hope the health and safety shuts them down. The owner was fighting me for complaining his food was disgusting i hate hate hate this location hope someone avoids them by seeing this i guarntee u a food poisoning from them.

Chicken Shawarma tastes like rubber. They cut off the spot and it sits in steam table till someone orders. Then when they load it up you can't taste the chicken all you taste is the spicy sauce seasoning on chicken cannot be distinguished. Greek Gyro is much better.

The saddest shawarma experience I ever had. I ordered a chicken shawarma. The girl literally put a full bowl of salad, some tomato and couple of cucumber and then proceeded to put the chicken (which looked like it was sitting there all day) directly on top of the salad. When I asked what's going on, she looked at me very intrigued and then called 2 other people for help. It's a shawarma plate not rocket science. I used to come here but definitely won't come again. Not worth my 25$ for a sad salad and chicken on the side.

Going a bit down hill, chicken is just boiled and bland, ordered large wrap got a regular, lazeez on the rocks is mostly rice, garlic sauce is minimal and you are charged for extra. Other locations seem allot better.

Ordered pick up and service - like many expressed - was abrupt bordering on rude. When we went to pick it up and pay, they overcharged us. Staff need training.

This location is best i work near here at booster juice they guys treat me very well i always see a smile on everyone face all the staff is manger owner everybody this is my favourite location nd the food is always awesome.u guys are fantastic

Food here is acceptable. Portions are on the larger side, but I would prefer higher quality over such large portions.

The meat they use is always overcooked and is spiced differently than most other Shawarma restaurants.

These guys couldn't cook rice if their lives depended on it. All the other reviews are true, most of the time they serve uncooked rice. This has been an on-going issue for over 6 months, do they not read these reviews?

When I first started coming here, the rice was actually properly cooked and the chicken quality was much higher.

I'll only come here if there is no other options available.
