Lazeez Shawarma

Ordered one Chiken on fries falafel. Chiken was so cold and fries too.taste of fires was so bad that I was not able to eat after first bite. Interior of store is so scary, dirty and smells bad. People were doing Islamic prayer in dine in area. One of the worst lazeez franchise.

Went for the shawarma day special. They were providing the really small trays when the ad showed regular sized. They did not run out of regular sized trays.

Showed the guy at the counter the flyer and he said "the deal ended at 5pm". The flyer said all day.

I called other locations which confirmed that the deal was regular sized trays and all day until 11: 59 pm (closing)

They were likely selling side trays as the deal all day.

I order half and half chicken on the uber, they just sent the lot of rice and fries, and put very few piece of chicken and coverup with lot of sauce.

Lazeez employees are doing much better.service could be faster when it comes to the YOUNG workers… where other employers for example senior workers/owners have excellent customer service. AND They don’t skip the lines for Familiar faces… thank you

Large salad with chicken on top and all the sauces. A very low carb meal. Tasty and super filling. Loved this location of Lazeez.

It was my first time going there. I thought I would try it out since it was shawarma day and a sandwich was only $5, but when I got there I was told they had no bread! I was even more upset when they told me what they were substituting it for. I got a small box of rice filled all the way up with little to no chicken on it. Definitely do not recommend this place.

Was given half as much as other locations, and we're not serving any wraps, and had very rude costumer service. Also 85% rice.

I have ordered for chicken shawarma surprised you see a veggie shawarma with couple of chicken pieces, shawarma only had lattices.

This location is a complete scam! They took advantage of the $5 promotion and only serve small size for $5 instead of the regular promoted size. Staff was rude and said they only take cash. Portions were half the size. You paid less and get more for a regular size compared to 2 specials. BIG SCAMM

Scammed people on national shawarma day $5 deal.gave smaller portions than what was advertised.they’re so suspicious and unprofessional, no one wears uniforms at this location while all the other locations do.

This location is a big scam.

They were selling the small trays for the Shawarma day special. Half the size for the same price.

They said the special ended at a specific time but all other locations I called stated it was until midnight.

THIS PLACE IS A COMPLETE SCAM! DON'T COME! They have a so-called promotion, which makes you think they offer you a discount on their food. What they actually give you is a mini size container which is only half size of what they reagularly charge for $8.99, but now they are charging you $5. In other words, you pay MORE when they are doing a promotion! When we pay, they said after tax is $5.65, but then they just took the cash $5.75 and now claimed the total is $5.75!

Bought 4large platters and spent $70 just for the server to put small amount of meat. Definitely not coming back to lazeez and would not recommend anyone going here

How’s this place still open? This is run by scammers scamming people. Go to a different location. This place is the definition of scam!

Came here to see how it is compared to Osmows. It is by far way, way better. The food is always made fresh and juicy. The workers are very hardworking, friendly, and accommodating! The manager, Mit, was especially warm and welcoming. This is my new go-to shawarma place. 10/10!

Food was alright, the place however if you are looking to dine in isn't a pleasant experience and the washroom is a nightmare. There are other locations of Lazeez that are better!

Had 2 people in front of me but waited 30 minutes for 2 shawarma wraps. Staff were working without a shred of urgency. The wrap was not very good either. Please hire more people.

Went here last in November. As the comments mentioned, they weren't wearing masks or gloves and there were 4 or 5 people chatting. Got my food and left.

Few days later, I got the worst case of food poisoning in my life, which made me swear off shawarma.

The worst shawarma! They have old meat they kept on the side and they just warm it up and when I asked them to cut me fresh they refused even the the new meat was ready to cut be careful where you eat they do this to ppl who order online because they can’t see.

If it were possible I would put 0 stars.when i got my order, everything was wrong. I tried calling to figure out what happened and they HUNG UP ON MY FACE TWICE, VERY TERRIABLE SERVICE ESPICALLY THE MANAGER.he was very disrespectful and even hung up on my face the 3rd time and stopped answering my calls when I called back. DONT ORDER FROM HERE.

Staff wasn’t wearing masks or any face covering, which was ironic because they have posters up that say “face coverings are required in this space”. I am vegan and they seemed unwilling to answer questions I had about the ingredients in their food. I had to ask the man 3 times for him to finally admit there is chicken stock in the rice. He at first just said they only cooked it with oil… and after I asked two more times, “is there chicken stock? ” Then he admitted “yes, there’s chicken base. ” Anyway, ended up ordering the falafel platter with a salad and fries and the falafel they use isn’t fresh, and looks like the frozen ones I usually buy from Costco. The layout of the restaurant was very strange with the shawarma place being at the very back of this large space that supposedly had a juice bar in the front. Everything looked dingy. The whole experience was uncomfortable and weird, and food was very mediocre.

Tl;dr - Not all Lazeez are created equal, and this one is pretty bad. Don't go here.

I went here after going to Lazeez at Don Mills and Steeles thinking it was going to be the same, turns out the quality control between franchises are non existent. I bought a medium Lazeez on the rocks. Here, the rice was mushy and not very hot, frankly tasted quite bad, and that's saying something because I like rice period.
The chicken was dry, and the pieces were cut really small, which made it taste worse, they were almost shaved like pulled pork instead of Shawarma pieces.
Portions are somewhat smaller than Lazeez on Don Mills/Steeles, about 30-40% less.

Not recommended. Not selling fresh meat. Staff is good but i ordered big shawarama and paid $12 dollars something and they gave me small usually at Lazeez for big they used 2 bread and made long one due to extra money and they used small bread and more salad and less chicken.think about the customer who is paying good money and what he is getting back in return.

I ordered two chicken on rocks and sticks, the rice provided to me was way undercooked and the chicken didn’t taste fresh either. I only give it a 2 star because the fries was the only thing good about my dish and service

I wouldn’t recommend this location as I paid over $20 for something that wasn’t cooked or tasted as good as I expected.

Worst place ever. The workers are so rude and extremely cheap. The food is horrible. The chicken is not fresh and has a weird taste. The worker is soo cheap, he was mad cuz i asked for extra napkins. DO NOT EAT AT THIS PLACE.

Used to love it but customer service and quality has dropped low. I ordered pickup and received the wrong order. When I got home and realized, I called back and was told to give them my name and number and they’d replace my order on the next visit. On my next visit I was told to pay for the meal. I won’t be visiting anymore.

Amazing food, great prices, nice workers, recently opened a paan and tea shop with good variety.

This is the first time I was trying this location but I should have checked the reviews. Ordered large lazeez on the rocks with extra sauce. The meat portion was horrible. They dont even give enough meat to cover the rice. Even though I asked for extra sauce they gave me very little and I have to asked again to put extra sauce. The guy at the counter was rude and gave me attitude when I asked for extra spoon. Will never go back again.

Very disappointed. Not satisfied at all. The guy was working Mohammed was so rude with everyone. Wrap was full of just toppings not chicken. Found this suspicious things in first bite wasted all. Totally waste of time and money.

Not impressed at all. 1: This is Canada you should have staff that can communicate in one of our two official languages. 2: Not the typical ingredients in a Shawarma. No Tabouli. 3: Added hot sauce whithout asking me. 4: Very small wrap. Little toppings little meat. Looking at all the negative reviews, I should have looked at the reviews first. My advice. Shop around. There are way better Shwarmas and better size and value in Scarborough. I thought I would give this location a try. BIG MISTAKE

These guys are very cheap and will give you very less meat on your food. Please avoid this location at any cost.

Too bad i ordered 2 larg chicken wraps and they used old brrad in th3 sandwich plus old chicken from days before since the new shawerma skewers not ready yet around 1,30 pm.its just a lie to sell old stuff before the fresh one.i dont recommend this place for any one.

I specifically mentioned not to make spicy but when i eat it, there mere more spicies than chicken, non- professional work. This is only lazeez which dosen’t meet you expectation.

Amazing shawarma, unfortunately the last week I was there with my family and after we were done eating we noticed a cockroach running by our seat EWWWWWWWWWWW disgusting, i will never come back here, and sadly will miss the food!

Stingy portions and stingy with the sauce, even when you pay for extra sauce they’ll hassle you by saying “i put enough”

This location charged considerably more as compared to the other store where I buy regularly. Plus the other store at Overlea drive includes drink with purchase. Same product same order just a different franchisee charging more not justified at all. Will never go back.

Okay Shawarma. Not as good as the other places I've been too like Tasty Shawarma, Ibrahim BBQ Shawarma, etc. I've had better tasting Shawarma than this. It's too pricey for the quality that they have.

Edit: Avoid this place at all costs. Go to Habibiz Shawarma. They have better shawarma for the price and quality.

A lot of parking, wheelchair accessible! Hand slaughtered halal meat, menu has a lot of options! Vegetarian options as well! Food tastes amazing, portions are good!

It’s not lazeez! Cockroaches too! The taste is off even in the sauce. The owner is constantly on the phone and barely pays attention. He likes to sprinkle the very dry chicken pieces on the top. Do yourself a favour get better lazeez from anywhere else. You will regret eating here.
Forget customer service, the owner will not refund food or give you the right proportions!

Food was great until I found finger nail. I ordered a half platter of rice and fries and when I took a bite, there was a nail. Very disgusted and UNSANITARY. EMPLOYEES SHOULD WEAR GLOVES AT ALL TIME AND NOT PICK AT THEIR NAILS OVER THE FOOD. IM HIGHLY DISGUSTED.

The employees over there are too rude
One day i went at 11: 50 and they were saying that they are close.even 10 minutes before.

The quality and quantity has been deteriorating for few years now. But today was the worst. Literally no shawarma meat. There was no seasoning in the rice or fries. Rice was overcooked as well. The toppings looked like they were a week old.
I have had bad experiences here before, but I thought they would redeem themselves. Unfortunately they haven't.
This is currently the worse lazeez branch.

Taste was very good, but person who was making mine one, were put veggies like 1/10 of chicken. After telling 2 3 times he put bit onions more. Instead of that I prefer delicious more.

I had it once but wasn't too pleased by the food, especially after trying the other locations. Fries weren't fried and chicken seemed to be hard and cold.

AVOID THIS LOCATION. 2 reasons.
1. They cheap out on the meat and used stale fries. Fries are soggy and not crispy as fresh fries should be.
2. They have 0 customer service skills

My large chicken on the sticks had barely any meat. Almost no meat, just fries and sauce.

Terrible customer service. While ordering I paid extra for my hot sauce and garlic sauce. They charge $0.50 for an extra stop of hot sauce, which was fine. Once they prepared my order, the man poured very little garlic sauce and I said May I have some more? He yelled EXTRA EXTRA PAY. I said I already paid for the extra sauce. No customer service skills. Don’t bark at your customers who are keeping you in business during this pandemic.

Plenty of other Lazeez restaurants in the GTA will be going somewhere else.

Disgusting!
Cockroach right on the door handle when entering the restaurant. The staff members were not wearing mask and the rice looked very stale. Right away I walked out without ordering anything. These guys don't take the restaurant too seriously. The health department should close down this restaurant for having cockroaches crawling all around

I don’t write reviews this was the worst takeout experience. I paid $15 for the large chicken on rocks I asked for salad i was being charged extra. I didn’t bother. When he plated the chicken he began to press the chicken in the rice eyeballed the portion. 95% box is rice very very conservative on the chicken. Please avoid this place. Never again!

The chicken had a stench and cold. Osmos is 100x better please save your money $15 you can eat somewhere else better.

Owners are cheap and the place is dirty. Ordered a half and half, got half the the chicken I would normally get from other locations. Charged 50 cents for extra hot sauce. Fries were really soggey. When I want to grab my drink from the fridge I couldn't help but notice how dirty the fridge was, unacceptable. I will never come to this location again.

I'm crazily in love with their shawarma. They make it so delicious with all veggies and they mix it up so that the sauces are evenly mixed with the chicken. Must try the chicken shawarma

Cockroaches in this location and the food quality in this location is terrible, mostly rice and even the rice is worse than what they used in Waterloo. Damn shame.

I have been to Lazees locations on the west end and have had a positive experience. I thought I would try the Scarborough Location and it was absolutely terrible.

The rice tasted like it was reheated from a week ago. Some parts of it was hard and crunchy. If that wasn’t gross enough, the chicken had a weird smell to it. It definitely sitting out there for a while.

When the person preparing my plate did not Put enough sauce, I kindly asked for more as I did pay extra for garlic sauce. The owner that was standing beside him, started complaining that I should get charged twice for extra sauce.

I read reviews after and I saw the same kind of message. The management of this location does not reflect the true brand of Lazees. DO NOT waste your money here. Go to other locations where they don’t cut corners and produce disgusting food.

THIS IS THE WORST LAZEEZ LOCATION EVER. The customer service is extremely poor, where the staff treat you with no dignity or respect.

Next, usually Lazeez is my favourite restaurant but at this location on their chicken on the rocks, they put barely any sauce or chicken and compensate by putting lots of fries/rice. No I do not want to pay 3$ extra for an adequate amount of chicken or 50 cents extra for the same amount of sauce I would get regularly from any other location.

No doubt the worst Mid Eastern food I have ever eaten. Getting the order right was the first major hurtle in this hot mess. Once that was done the incredibly mediocre food was served. Pathetic was the chicken shwarma plate. The white sauce was mayo based! This obvious franchise has alot to learn. The place was spotless, no doubt becasue no one in their right mind would ever go there for Mid Eastern food, The best, As my wife and I were leaving the owner called out to me asking if I paid for my two cans of coke. I reminded him I dropped a $5 on his counter. I could not be bothered going for my change. We pitched our meals and fled. STAY AWAY PEOPLE

Very rude workers. And they only grade thr ones they want. Been waiting for an order and I was ignored. This has happened more then once.

Lazeez shawarma in scarborough is the best good place to especially for the family the restaurant is huge spacious and clean and food is tasty hospitality wonderfull

Went to order the chicken 66 platter and noticed the guy re heating chicken that was left out all day. No cover at all.

I will never eat here again. Osmows is right down the road. Or i would prefer going to the lazeez in thornhill.

I suggest management get involved in the uncleanliness and inappropriate operation of this francise.

This location is a shame to the rest. Every time I order from here, I always expect it to taste as good as its sister location in North York, but never has it ever even had the slightest taste to it. I order from this location out of convenience, most times knowing that no matter how hungry I am, their will be little to no chance of their food being more than just bland. The Lazeez chicken on the sticks is my go-to but the fries always taste stale and I'm not sure how it's possible for their shawarma and hot sauces to have absolutely no taste? Needless to say, I've been craving Osmow's every time I've ordered from this Lazeez location and it has never even been close to living up to what it SHOULD taste like.

What A Terrible Experience I went here hearing good things about this place and maybe it was just this location But One of the worst experiences I had in my Life. There Restaurant is filthy there washroom is filthy They dont even clean the Tables. I ordered A gyro Platter and it tasted Horrible and wasnt even real Gyros. Also there was hair in my food and they refused to give me a refund. Or a new plate. Such a terrible experience Never coming here again thats for sure

You'll never be able to order for pickup because they never answer the phone. Called in store to see if they would, they just let it ring and they had no line up.
