Laziza Mediterranean Cuisine

This is the best kept secret on Bloor Street! It is my go-to place for drop-in meals, takeout and party platters. The food is incredibly tasty, healthy and beautifully presented. The people who prepare and serve the food are very friendly and generous.

I've never had Mediterranean food before. The guys behind the counter really enjoy how and what they serve. Super friendly, fast and always smiling.

The only thing I didn't like was the front door was fully open and it was so uncomfortable to sit inside moreover the table wasn't clean. But good food and nice customer service

Food was very bland, both the chicken wrap and salad lacked flavour. Would recommend another shawarma spot instead, but service was friendly.

I only try to go when Mo is working he is a super nice person and that's how workers should be. I had some bad experience with some workers.the food is so good and fresh.great place to eat or order food

I went there to have the 2 for one chicken Shawarma wrap. It was tasty as well as filled with enough contents. Very nice place to have Shawarma.

I got a chicken shawarma plate,

Everything was dry.

Chicken? Dry. Salad? Dry, no salad dressing…
Shawarma sauce? Watered down. Hot sauce? Watered down

The only thing they get a one star for is their garlic sauce, other than that… I would never eat here again.

I am really disappointed. I got there around 11: 30 p.m. Expected to get Sharma platter with beef. At that time they didn't have beef so I was okay with substituting for chicken. I heard a lot of good things about this place but when I got the platter for me and my wife the rice was really hard. Feels like they dug it up from the bottom of the barrel. They could have told me otherwise, I would have walked away and got something else to eat. It was waste of food and waste of money.

I LIVED off the daily plate special when I first moved into the area. The food is GREAT, excellent deal! My mouth is watering just writing this review.

Classic spot for late night eats, this restaurant performs consistently. It's just sad how inflated the prices have gotten now though due to market conditions, but the portions are generous, the food is healthy and whether you're drunk, high or just plain hungry, their meals will satisfy your cravings.

These guys seem to take pride in their work and the food tastes amazing! Perhaps those are related.

Meh. This place is close to where I live so I've grabbed a shawarma there many times. Sometimes it's ok, but other times not at all. And you have to watch what they put in (what? No garlic sauce?) and what exactly do they charge you for. Not nice. There's plenty of competition nearby.

If only there were negative stars to give. Worst wrap ever had. Couldn't sleep whole night due to upset stomach. Bought 2 wraps, had to throw the other. Stay away if you care for your health. Disgusting!

My experience at Laziza has always been met with consistent service, fresh and well seasoned food and a comparable price to match the overall experience.

They are always so upbeat and nice, really big portion sizes and I love all the different salad options for the wraps and plates

This place used to be absolutely amazing and I'm not sure if there is new management but the quality of food has significantly decreased on a regular basis now. I had one bad experience and wanted to give them another chance since all of my other experiences had been amazing but then it happened again and I even gave them a third chance and it happened again! This place used to be somewhere that I would go to once a week and now I will not spend my money, chicken is always entirely too fatty and gristly, it's very unfortunate because I used to talk this place up to people all the time and now I would never ever recommend it and I'm not sure what changed

Order was accepted and was "in-process" for 30 min before they cancelled. Waited for nothing.

Just tried in here shawarma both chicken and beef were awesome. Loved it. Best place for Best taste.

Worst Sharwarma I ever eat meat was not ready and Sharwarma was tasteless it's disturbed my stomach.

Just ok. Service was just ok. Shawarma was not great. Dry, pretty bland. Hope that was a one-off.

I really hate to give a bad review but the shawarma poutine 1) has no garlic or hot sauce so beware it's bland 2) had a bone in the chicken. How does that even happen with shawarma? If it wasn't a bone then what was it?

Please avoid this place I got food from here yesterday it was the only thing I ate and I got very sick I'm thinking the chicken wasn't cooked

Found this place while visiting the neighbourhood from out of town. Food was amazing. Loved their chicken souvlaki and potatoes. Had one of their felafel as well and it was delicious!

Ordered their mixed shawarma thru doordash.they didnt give me the right side but it was also like 2am so thats fair.also the beef was kinda dry (the chicken was v tender!). BUT OTHER THAN THAT it was really good and also i deadass got three separate meals out of it.will order again

Rude, illogical staff Who served two people behind me before serving me for some reason. I recommend going to Ali Baba’s or empire which are both close by

Place is good. Not when it's busy tho dont get me wrong they try to be efficient but the time you spend waiting doesn't add up

This place deserves a better rating honestly. I’ve tried higher rated spots that are WAY LESS TASTY. I love this place. So YUMMY! Would definitely recommend.

Friendly staff. Their daily specials, such as falafel plate are somewhat reasonably priced for Toronto standards.

Portions for veg dishes are generally smaller than meat dishes - which is unfair considering the similar prices and that veggies are cheaper than meat.

Will keep going here because they're one of the best options along Bloor near Ossington.

The shawarma plate comes with a good variety of salads and sauces. Satisfyingly large and good value. The chicken is always just right, not too dry not too greasy.
