I have been very hairy most my life and have been to three different clinics since starting my laser journey, and I have had some awful experiences at the first two and was so so skeptical when I was recommended to come to LCI to see Cristina. But wow. She was worth all the praise I had heard about her. She never once made me uncomfortable and never burned me like the other places did. They had no clue how to treat someone with my darker olive skin. Cristina was so honest with me about everything. She used ice packs and a cold air hose to reduce the pain which made the world's difference in my experience at this clinic. I will continue to go here for as long as I live in Ottawa and I tell everyone I know to go to her. The office is also well located with free parking and they have offered to accommodate me at both locations to fit my busy schedule which also allowed me to get my laser appointments on time.

Every time I have gone to LCI centretown to get either the laser hair removal or laser veins removaI CHRISTINA always made me feel at ease, respected and treated my concerns with diligence and care as I had a bad experience from another laser company. Each step is explained and all my questions get the attention it needs which leaves me very motivated and excited about returning back each time. Christina is knowledgeable, skilled, dedicated, well-trained in her field, compassionate, and realistic with patients. I'm sad I waited too long to have these treaments done as the laser doesn't remove all of my grey hair. That said, stop thinking about it and get it done ASA! It's so freeing! Looking down at my legs and not seeing my vericose veins anymore has ginven me more kick in my step as well as boost of confidence when I'm at the beach, the lake or poolside! I encourage you to book with Christina either downtown or in Kanata and to give this place a call! Cheers!

Rarely write reviews but wanted to express how great my experience has been with Cristina at the Bells Corners location. I had previously gone to another lazer clinic in my 20s and had a terrible experience - painful and no real results. Complete and total opposite here. Cristina is super knowledgeable, skilled, and realistic with patients. I am basically addicted to lazer now and want everything done (I would say that is the biggest risk to seeing Cristina!). If you get multiple body parts done too she will probably give you a deal, as she did for me. Just go see her - guarantee you wont regret it.

Louise was incredible. I had the new hydra facial treatment and I can honestly say I don’t think my skin has ever felt so clean and fresh. It was amazing! I’m used to having extractions which can really hurt but their was zero pain. Louise explained everything as she worked and I’m so pleased with the result. I’ll definitely being doing this again before my wedding.

I am so glad I finally decided to get laser hair removal- what a life changer! This is my first summer after starting the process and it’s so freeing not having to worry about my hair regrowth! Cristina has done so much for me. When I started my laser hair removal journey I was so anxious about my results because I had saved up for a while to be able to go to a good clinic. A few of my friends recommended Cristina specifically to me, saying she was the nicest technician they had come across and they were not lying. Cristina not only is extremely gifted at what she does but she is also so kind and I really felt that she understood that laser hair removal wasn’t just a treatment for me, it was my biggest insecurity for most of my life (I am middle eastern and VERY HAIRY) and she understood how that impacted me and never made me uncomfortable. Even when I got nervous that I wouldn’t get results she took the time to explain to me how the treatments worked and how my progress would appear over time. She is a no bs kind of person and I actually feel really lucky that my friends told me about her. She also works a LOT so she has somehow always been able to accommodate me and works with me to time my appointments right so I get the treatment at the ideal time in my hair growth cycle. Anyways, I had to write this review because after almost a full year of treatments with her and everything she's done to keep my progress through covid I think everyone needs to go to know about her.

10/10 recommend visiting Cristina for any services you might need! Her work ethic is clean, kind, and efficient. I am extremely happy with the results I received and never dread the appointments because she makes it easy and painless no matter how nervous or sensitive you may be!

I have almost finished my laser hair appointments. I am very happy with the results but the best part of the experience has been Cristina. She is kind personable and knows her craft! When I was first inquiring about the services she put me at ease and answered all of my questions. During the treatments she checks in and makes sure you are doing ok and will adjust to make you as comfortable as possible. I have been so happy that I have booked another treatment area to start later this summer. If you have ever been thinking about laser hair removal go in and talk to Cristina, I wish I had done this years ago!

After my initial consult, I have now completed two sessions with Cristina for removal of spider veins on my face (cheeks and nose). I am very pleased with the results. Cristina is very informative, professional, and kind. She explains the treatment very well as she goes along, and today consulted with me on rosacea. I went with a Way spa gift card for a facial.none of the equipment ended up working I wasn’t a huge fan of the cleanliness of the environment and they seemed very and unorganized and unprepared for me even though it is a skin care clinic. There was no follow up to come back even though they said they’d call me to rebook. Clearly, don’t care for a return customer. Odd experience. Unsure I’d go back and it’s a little concerning the level of expertise as they do more invasive procedures as well.

LCI is by far the best laser hair removal clinic in Ottawa. Cristina Uriarte is extremely talented, knowledgeable, and professional. Trust me, you will see results. You get what you pay for. Don't be fooled by the low prices of other laser hair removal clinics/spas. LCI has a really experienced staff and a great laser machine for hair removal. Highly recommended.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST DECISION I EVER MADE! Christina U.is absolutely the best! I come from a background where cleanliness is VITAL for women & I personally struggled with hair removal techniques & being someone with absolute ZERO pain tolerance; laser was not an easy decision to make. It took me a little over a year to give it a go, from all the negative things I heard from close friends regarding their experiences – it did not help. I finally took the decision shorty after seeing the results on my sister – and being sick of dealing with all the stickiness & razor marks (shaving every other day was an absolute bothersome). I am into my 4th session now & I’ve noticed results from my first session – hair got so much lighter, area is clean & less discoloration exists– it is well worth the investment ladies!

For many years I have struggled with embarrassing facial hair which caused my skin to breakout and forced me to wear concealer. I got a few groupons and had a few treatments awhile ago.by cosmetician V. -she was super nice and good at her job. However when she took a vacation and her manager took over, the experience was not the same. I felt that she pushed hard for services and treated me like a child. I am a young person, but i am no fool. I am a healthcare professional and certainly know whats best for me and i choose my own treatment. Another thing i did not liken is multiple confirmation calls for appointments. Sometimes i would get 2 calls on my cell, 1 home phone number and 1 at work in a week to confirm the same appointment. I never missed appointment in my life. I could not keep up with this anymore and stopped going. PRODUCT WAS AWESOME, but not so happy with the service and attitude from the manager herself.

The staff, services and products at LCI are amazing! I've tried many other places and have never been as satisfied with the results as I am now. Highly recommend!

I have been visiting LCI West for a few months now for laser hair removal, and my experience has been great! I highly recommend this place for anyone with dark skin, as they carry a laser that works well for dark skin. Not many clinics in Ottawa carry this laser. I've had awesome results! I wish I had started this years ago. All my treatments have been with Cristina, and she is very friendly, knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable throughout your treatment. I've had three treatments for spider veins at the laser clinic and the results are amazing! I tried saline injections with no success, this is much more effective. Cristina has made the experience very easy and comfortable. I would highly recommend their services!
