It was a pleasure to taste a Morrocan authentic cousin. We were welcomed by a lovely chatty hostess with great genuine smile. We ordered the Royal Platter. It was delicious, with some unleavened bread and Baba Ghanoush.

Wow quelle découverte. J’ai pris un poulet et riz pour emporter. Le serveur, très gentil, m’a chaudement recommandé ce plat. Arrivé à l’hôtel nous avons dévoré ce plat copieux. Cuisson parfaite, assaisonnement et épices bien doses. Le poulet était tendre et savoureux tout comme le riz et les légumes. Extra!

Superbe découverte moi et ma mère on a pris le couscous marocain à l.agneau c est juste extraordinaire la viande très bien cuite tendre bien assaisonné on a pris du riz à pastilla une découverte formidable. Le service est juste parfait. Merci bcp. Une petite recommandation mettez de la musique marocaine au lieu de syrienne ou libanaise ça donnera une vraie ambiance du maroc. Bravo encore. Delicious food and excellent service! It is not meant to be an atmosphere-driven place, but the food won't disappoint you.

Every time we visit byward market we have to try something new. Today we saw Le Casablanca, and we definitely know that Moroccan cuisine is famous with their couscous. We order a platter for two (Royal). The food and everything was great especially the tea which is a must have. But the four stars is for the food, we felt it needs to be heated a bit more. But definitely I strongly recommend this place.

I often eat there, and had them cater for a Family of fifteen, this week.
It was absolutely amazing. We had lamb shank, chicken legs, meatballs, lamb merguez sausage, egg plant and chicken pastilla.
All
Served with rice potatoes couscous mixed vegetables, and a wonderful sauce.
Everyone said it was the best meal they have had.
Everything is made from scratch, and so healthy and tasty.
I strongly recommend this restaurant for eating in, or take out.

Server doesn’t know how to take orders properly, he doesn’t understand. Sandwiches were one of the worst in the city…used to be great 5 yrs ago. Place is too tight can’t walk properly.

TheChicken Sandwich and Potatoes were great!

Shunk was awful, dried and the portion was not enough for one person. They gave us one spoon and asked for an extra spoon because we are 3 of us, they refused. That is funny. The service was awful. We had to ask for our orders like our extra fries and drinks on our meals. They did not serve themselves. All the tables and glasses and spoons were so dirty, the smell of the restaurant was disgusting and overall, I don't recommend.

I was so glad to discover this place while in Ottawa working with my clients. Grabbed to bring back to hotel a delicious chicken pastilla, amazing chickpeas couscous and harira soup. Definitely coming back to get a taste from home away from home, Inshallah!

I had a very bad experience in this place, I thought I would find a delicious flavor in the food, and no salt, my family did not like it, besides being a small place, not as shown in the photo, I spent 1 hour in this place and they had post prayers

Everything about this place is five star from the Food, the atmosphere, and the hospitality highly recommend it!

There are only a handful of tables in this tiny market restaurant, but the food is excellent and the portions are huge.
