The best vet I've ever had for my animals.
The small town. Really care about your pets feel. Is what keeps me there. The kindness we have been shown over the years for our animals has been incredible.

Took one of my cats in for the first time, Dr. John examined her, answered all my questions and gave great advice. It is a welcoming little hospital. Their prices are good, too.

His hands r always healing. Just a checkup for cat hes clipping nails while he works or cleaning teeth. Luv all employes. Very respectful helpful family runbusineess

Scammers. Brought a litter of puppies for deworming and they charged me through the roof. I made a second phone call prior to showing up to confirm pricing. She specifically asked if it was just deworming, to which I simply said yes. Was supposedly $30 for deworming (said they only charged for one dog despite bringing the whole litter) and $75 visit fee. I go up to pay, it suddenly becomes $523. They gave them all vaccines plus deworming. They said there was probably some miscommunication. If thats the case, the receptionist should look for a different job. Will not be coming back and do not recommend.

Great vet clinic. Staff is very thorough, kind, and explains everything clearly. They even let me look into the microscope at the ear mites. I left feeling very relieved!

Recently bought out by a corporate vet group. Various strange things have happened, overbilled, medical procedures, pet death. Cant recommend any longer

They take the time with your pets, they go over and above. Great prices and amazing staff.

Dr McDowell is a very much like a local Dr Pol and his priority is always putting animals and their needs first. Pricing is very reasonable and the staff friendly and professional. Dr. McDowell's son and daughter are both veterinarians who practice there also, so it is a true family affair. Facilities could be easier to access with the stairs but their diagnostic and surgical equipment is state of the art. Highly recommended.
