I took a private lesson with Doug, the owner of Lean Angle Motorsports. He provided the track, motorcycle, and 3 hours of instruction at a very reasonable price. I brought my own gear. If you do not have a leather suit, he does provide suit rental.
It was a positive and rewarding lesson that went way beyond my expectations. The very next day on the road, just from the one lesson, the increase in my skills and confidence was very noticeable.
He provided me with Kawasaki Z125 (same type of bike as a Honda Grom). The reason he provided a minibike is because the bike is very nimble, easy to turn and lean, and closer to the ground. It is easier to scrape the knee, if that is one of your goals. It is also very forgiving of student errors so that you just concentrate on building your skills without the additional worry of the size, weight, and power of a full-sized bike.
He adapts his instruction to you based on your existing skills, personality, and at the pace you learn. He takes into account your goals. Some students want to race on tracks while others want to improve their street riding skills.
He explains concepts in a way that is easy to understand and then shows you. He uses the 5 Ds. Describe, demonstrate, do, debrief, do-it-again. His feedback is constructive and positive. He celebrates your accomplished "baby steps", as he calls the small incremental improvements a student makes while learning.
Since the lesson is student-led, you can take as much or as little time to practice a skill and Doug is always there with help and feedback.
The lesson was such an amazing experience. I spoke to a couple of his instructors at the motorcycle show in the spring and all were very welcoming and enthusiastic about riding. I will definitely be back for private lessons and also for their regular classes and track days.

This place rocks, never thought I'd have the chance to try riding my motorcycle on the track. Thanks so much! So well organized and the brothers are super nice. Also they do motorcycle full leather rentals!

Amazing service provided by these guys, they do it all from motorcycle maintenance & repairs, graphic design for bikes, gear & clothing; motorcycle transportation and hosting track day events!
I’ve been to plenty of motorcycle shops so far in my riding career but haven’t felt cared for on a individual level up until I started going to them. True professionals with years of experience under their belts in terms of servicing & working on motorcycles along with riding techniques on the track.
I’d recommend this business to every rider, as their quality care, amazing advice and quick service has made me trust no one else but them with my motorcycles!
