Hidden gem! I had two down jackets with broken zippers, and was turned down by two shops near my home. They repaired both in under 30min and 20$!

Needed a basic leather working kit. Staff were incredibly helpful in building a cost effective kit for me and cutting an affordable piece of leather for me to practice with. Will return again.

I've been there a few times. Good selection. Can get busy, seems very popular with locals. Good prices.

This place has what you need, at a reasonable price, with enough staff to help you, a trifecta that does not seem to exist other places anymore.

L&SS is my go-to sewing store, the equivalent of an LYS (local yarn store). I’m so grateful to live a 15 minute walk away! Basically every tool, supply or notion that I have for sewing, tailoring, bra-making, or leatherwork is from here, because their prices, knowledge, and selection are awesome.
(And pssst…did you know that you can sometimes get Liberty Tana lawn for 1/10 of the price elsewhere?)

I love this place so much. They have amazing selection, quality, and the prices are quite competitive for the area. I always return here though because of the amazing staff. They are kind, patient, attentive and extremely knowledgeable. Those factors alone make them worth the trip, and why I’m a repeat customer. Some products like rotary cutters and other tools are a bit more expensive than you’d find else where but again the extra couple bucks are well worth keeping a local business open, and the invaluable knowledge they willingly give. Thank you SO much guys!

This place is like a candy store.notions supplies from floorboards to rafters. Plenty on the website, but go in person for the full selection.

They literally have everything. And if they don’t, they can order it. Local Mom and pop business that’s lasted 2 generations and going. They also know everything about everything and it has a family vibe which is really cute

One of the best suppliers in the city for leather and sewing goods. They offer bulk and wholesale as well and goods are very well priced. The staff are super friendly and it's a family owned business that's been a staple of the Toronto Fashion District for years. Online ordering is quick and easy as well.

Happy to find a Canadian source for zipper/m! Local sources have dried up (tx>@m@z-n). Took time to peruse their products & ended up ordering a few things. All arrived complete & looking good in a few days. Will be buying here again.

I was so excited to order from here since they had exactly the products I needed for my sewing project. I ordered with upgraded shipping. Got an email saying my package had arrived, but I received no package. I tried to contact the seller multiple times through email, but got no reply no any of them. I will not order anything from them again

I ordered online and at first was angry when one item was missing from my order, but after contacting them they have resolved the issue and provided me with a refund. Other received products are good and as described on the website

Needed a buckle for my pack, they had just the thing I needed. Had a slight hiccup with my order but when I brought it to their attention they resolved it quickly and I had the buckle the next day.

I was looking for leather supplies but they were limited for that. Inside was chaotic and unorganized for the most part. Prices are a little on the hight side.

Absolutely the best customer service I’ve experienced in years. The store is like Alibaba cave. So many options so many varieties. If you want to go make sure you plan for at least 30 min an hour because you will find your self Just looking around discovering new products. Again I go back to The stuff.they are amazing knowledgeable and very very helpful.
They were 2 ladies and one gentlemen at the cashier. When you ask anyone of them about something they don’t just show you where to find it, but they go with you and they stay with you and help you find what you want. I bought 7 items online and even before I gave them the chance to collecte my order and email me to come pick it up, I was in the area and decided to pick them up. I was feeling bad and I was apologizing for coming early for the pickup. At my surprise they told me Please don’t apologize let’s collect your intend.they were so gracious and so welcoming. So the lady was helping collecting my items and I found out they run out of 2 of the product I wanted so the manger upgraded the missing item to more expensive ones.when I offered to pay the difference. He told me no it’s on the store. And he apologized for running out of the product. I mean wow

Ask a old lady to replace a simple button she said the person doing that is out for lunch needs a hour wait, PLS train ur personel to do simple things so customer travel long way here can have a easier life. Worst customer service

Great story, the staff was helpful in finding what I needed. Everything is organized so well; moving about the shop came nature. Plus, the side conversation with the clerk keeped me amused. Will definitely be adding this shop to my regular flow.

I Can't Express how happy i am to have found this supplier. It seems like they have everything i need for my craft and sewing projects, the Customer service i have received its exceptional, well priced items, they dispatch my orders quickly everytime i order (i have ordered 4 times from them in the last 6 months), and my last ordered was yesterday morning (march 23rd), and was dispatched that after noon and i received it today (March 24th), although i know the shipping speed its not up to them but it goes to show you that they know which Courrier to count on for customer satisfaction. I purchased 2 containers of Barge on Sunday, and received them this morning. Great service and very fast! I, unfortunately, had one of the containers severely damaged in shipping. Over 20 years Adam and his Family have been taking care of all my business needs, small and large. They have truly proven themselves and they run exactly the kind of family-owned business everyone looks for and asks around for in the community. They are friendly, honest, professional, charge very fairly, answer questions directly, make important recommendations without up-selling, and deliver excellent service. Basically, they are how you would imagine a friendly neighborhood store to be.

I would give them 7 stars if I could. I went in on a cold day with a child's winter coat, expecting to have to find a whole matching zipper and replace the thing between bedtime and the next morning. They took one look at it, expertly pulled the slider off and replaced it in about 45 seconds, saving me money and hours of work. Brilliant.

So much love and appreciation for these guys. Last winter, I was low on cash, couldn't afford a new winter jacket and stopped by this store to pick up a zipper that I was quoted $80 by another store to install. Next thing I knew, I was getting the zipper replaced right in front of me and the fellow was nice enough to charge me for just the cost of the materials. Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!
