I would walk before ever purchasing a vehicle from here. I have had absolutely NOTHING but problems with my VW Tiguan. Same issues over and over saying they are fixed each time I bring it in. Car stalling (2018) on the side of the road constant EPC light on, I’ve had my entire front carpets and dash ripped out and replaced because my mats were like a swimming pool SOAKED in water from something leaking now I have a constant musty smell in the vehicle, start stop activation is GARBAGE. Service at VW is trash. Never ever ever again

**edit to reply** EPC issues are across the board with all tiguans not just Windsor locations. I was driving home from Wiarton yesterday car was stalling with EPC light and can not exceed 4000 RPM brought it into YOUR London shop and was turned away on a hot day with a family and 2 kids in the car saying you wouldn’t be able to look at the vehicle and maybe tomorrow you’d get to it after explaining we were on our way back to Windsor. Horrible reflection on your dealership as well! Putting my family in an extremely unsafe position driving home.

I bought a new atlas in September 2022 and got into an accident April 1,2023. The car was totalled however I had very minimal injuries! I would highly recommend the atlas and leavens! Rob and Alex are both GREAT help and Darin from finance is wonderful to work with as well! They helped me find an atlas yet again! If your thinking about getting an atlas from leaven’s DO IT! I couldn’t be happier with my purchase:)

Leaven’s VW was amazing. Kevin was the best salesman I’ve ever had. He took the time to understand my needs, walk me through the features of the car before I took it for a test drive, and even though it was closer to closing time he didn’t rush me, he took the time to answer my questions. I didn’t feel pressured into the sale, I felt heard. Not to mention that in a time where you hear there will likely be a 6-12 month wait for new vehicles from all the other dealers, Kevin got me into a car in less than a week! Darin also made the financial piece run smoothly and clearly communicated next steps which I greatly appreciated. Amazing place, wonderful staff. I highly recommend Leaven’s Volkswagen to anyone looking for their next car. And the car itself…absolutely amazing! You won’t be disappointed!

With supply and demand and rising prices I was in the market for a used car but one that would be safe and the best price for me. It took me a bit to find the exact right fit for my life and budget but Robert Logie was so patient and very understanding. He helped me get the perfect car! Sharon and I have always trusted Leavens for their honest and sincere approach. Our go-to salesperson has been Kevin Koprowski. He knows our needs and is always looking for the VW vehicles we like. From Sharon's first Jetta, my Jetta wagon, our Tiguan, two GLIs, and two Atlas', we have always gotten excellent trade-in value and good deals. While we miss the old days on First Street, especially the three "nice guys" in the service department, Leavens is still our VW dealership choice in Southwestern Ontario.

Back in June, Robert assisted my mother in selecting a used vehicle from the Leavens VW inventory. He was patient and showed her all the key features of each vehicle, making her feel at ease with the decision, purchase and pick up. She is very happy with her purchase and spoke very highly of Robert. Brought my car is to have a DSG transmission oil leak diagnosed. They said the cause was a loose drain plug and I would be
charged for the repair even
though my car is still under warranty and the DSG has not been serviced yet. I waited a few weeks and checked the DSG and the oil leak returned as suspected. I took my car to another VW dealer where it was properly diagnosed as weeping from the transmission seam.

We are very pleased with out recent purchase of a pre-owned Volkswagen Tiguan at Leavens Volkswagen! From beginning to end all the Leavens staff that we encountered were easy to deal with, attentive and professional.
We were looking for a replacement vehicle as our previous one had just been written off by insurance and we had been to several different car lots. Upon walking into Leavens Volkswagen near the end of their regular business day we were happily greeted by the receptionist and quickly connected with Abby O'Neill-Reddin a sales consultant.
Abby focused on our vehicle needs getting us into both a Passat and Tiguan for quick test drives, which we immediately loved both vehicles. We talked about the vehicle details, our situation and needs and left well after their business hours. Sales manager Clinton Smith reached out to us by text later that evening to ensure that we had no further questions.
We decided on the Tiguan, re-visited for a longer test drive and brought up some minor issues (which Abby had resolved with the Leavens service and detailing departments). We finalized the purchase and warranty details with Darin Koprowski and we were driving away in our amazing looking, new to us vehicle within a week.
A Big Thanks to Abby and all the staff at Leavens, you obviously know how to have a happy and satisfied customer!

My last experience in April at Leavens Volkswagen was extremely negative poor and not very professional. Long story short, I called ahead and made a service appointment for my VW Touareg warranty fix on the TDI. Over the phone had multiple conversation with the service manager and she confirmed that the car was still under warranty and she would be able to get me in two weeks. No other VW dealer wanted to take on the job since the warranty fix was completed at Leavens Dealer previously in February. The car was towed to London and dropped off at the dealership. It turns out the warranty expired on the car and they couldn’t address the issue. Spoke with Greg the service manager he admitted that they made a mistake and that there was nothing he could do. I’m hopping that Chris sells the dealership to the Pfaff group. Those guys know how to treat costumers it’s a night and day experience when you go visit the Porsche in Vaughan dealer or even the Mazda dealer next door. If you need a true honest professional VW mechanics check out Top Gear Import Parts down the street. They fixed the issue and addressed the problem at a fraction of the price. Thank you Arthur and Bogdan. ** correction I didn't know that Chris bought the Mazda from Pfaff Group. Its 2013 White Touareg TDI we spoke over the phone couple of times ** sorry a little late with review. I've unfortunately had a very poor experience with my recent visit at Leavens. In October of last year they diagnosed an EPC light I had with turbo wastegate failure, and quoted a 3500$ to replace the whole turbo unit. I asked if it was possible to repair the wastegate or actuator instead of replacing the entire turbo, but was told that it wasn't possible. Nick was very helpful in describing to me what was wrong, and ensured me that I can still drive the car without doing damage to it.

However, I then went to an independent Volkswagen specialist (technicians with previous VW dealership working experience) and they are scheduled to repair the wastegate on the existing turbo for a mere 550$ as it is a common point of failure for my model and they've been successfully doing said repair for years.

Additionally, in October I paid Leavens 2200$ for work which included replacing the thermostat housing for a coolant leak. They recommended preventative maintenance to replace the water pump as well, which I agreed to. There was also a small coolant leak near the rear cylinder head that they also took care of. However, the service reported from the dealership that shows up on my CarFax only states 'oil service and filter change' which was never done, and inaccurately represents the extensive work I paid for. This essentially de-values the vehicle if I lose receipts or proof of work. I've tried to contact the dealership to rectify the issue through their website as well as emailing Nick/Kathryne directly, but I haven't had any response. As soon as I drove off that lot and paid my 2k in service they stopped correspondence and wouldn't answer any further questions I had.

Overall, I've taken my business elsewhere. Hopefully this helps with customer service experiences in the future. I'm leaving two stars because Nick was extremely helpful.up until I paid my bill. All three cars I've owned have been Volkswagen, because I appreciate the culture and passion of the ownership community. Unfortunately with my visit at Leavens, none of that was present.

June 15th 2022 Edit; Following up on the response, I've still never been contacted regarding their reporting error. Also not going to spend 40 dollars on a Carfax report just to confirm it's been rectified. Any follow-up would be appreciated.

June 16th 2022 Edit: Leavens reached out to me and assured that the error in the Carfax report is going to be resolved. We also discussed some of the maintenance items that were noted in the review. I appreciate the follow up.

My experience with Leavens VW was hands down the best car purchasing experience I have had, and it was practically all done virtually because of living out of town. Abby O’Neill-Reddin was absolutely incredible, and made buying a pre-owned car for the first time both effective and enjoyable! She was responsive, thorough and very accommodating to make sure I could see and understand the car from afar using FaceTime, email, texts and phone. Leavens also did an outstanding job detailing the car! And financing was easy and competitive with Darin Koprowski’s support. Because of Abby and her exceptional sales skill and client focus, I now own a beautiful Golf R! Thank you, Abby! I LOVE my car!

Although 2 star review, Alex is a 5 star salesmen amazing to deal with! My car finally let go and was time to get a new vehicle. I was looking for a Jetta but due to the shortage right now they didn’t have any so Alex told me about the Taos. I asked for a Vehicle with Sunroof, Heated seats and Auto start. I Added Warranties and Muddy Buddy Mats (like weather tech) and some undercoating and stuff and was told the car would be ready Thursday by the finance guy. I pick my car up tonight to find out the car has “Auto Start capabilities” which means I’m now into purchasing parts for an auto starter and now possibly dealing with more then one remote and my Muddy Buddy mats are 3-5 days away. Expected more for a 46,000 car. So I pick up my car and now get to have my brand new carpet salt stained as it’s January without being warned the mats weren’t in before picking it up. Also this is my first Volkswagen also the first car I’ve been sold that doesn’t come with any oil changes or anything just here ya go. Alex is such an awesome salesman that he even offered to drive the mats out once they came in which I told him was awesome but unnecessary. So not only did I not get the features I thought I was getting for my money, I get to ruin my new carpet with winter salt as I wasn’t warned my mats weren’t in as I would have waited for them to be in.

Stopped here when my gas cover was stuck shut on my 2015 GTI. The staff were exceptionally helpful in opening the cover and getting me back on the road quickly for my drive home. Will definitely be my go to when I'm in this area!

We just purchased our new ride from VW and our experience from start to finish was amazing!
Abby from VW was an absolute pleasure to deal with, from lots of information via texts to a personalized video showing everything we wanted to see as we lived 70mins away from the dealership.
On pick up day our lil guy was sick and couldn't travel! So Abby drove our new ride out to us so we could still get it!

Leavens service saved my day!
I had a damaged wheel lock key and needed my locking-lugs removed. I called Dalmar and they said 4 hours labour and dec 24th.

I then called Leaven’s and talked to their super friendly service staff over the phone and she was so nice! I think it was Kat I was talking too?
She told me to drive by and they will look at it asap.
I showed up and within 20 mins they removed all my locking lugs no charge!

I am telling you…. Leaven’s Service TOTALLY got my respect. Thank you much. Absolutely saved us!

My 2014 Passat has been in their service department for over 8 months waiting on parts. Service here has been average for the most part and I have been the one who has had to call for status updates, often not getting a call back. This dealership often says "don't feel so bad, others have been without their vehicle for even longer". I will definitely consider this on the next vehicle purchase.

If there was a zero star option I would use it. Service manager and whole service team are a nightmare to deal with! Very unprofessional, service manager admitted to me he hadn’t checked his voicemail mail in 2 days. I had to drive in to dealership to get an answer as to why a service I requested did not get completed! You can’t talk to any service rep about your car or any information about what’s happening except the person who you talked to, which makes things very difficult when you don’t get a call or a call back over multiple days! I DO NOT recommend using this service centre at all

My first experience with the service from this dealership has been absolutely terrible. I was charged $480.20 when I asked for my speaker to be fixed, Which wasn't fixed said Tech just adjusted the settings. I Also asked for a cabin air filter and rain guards. I was told over the phone that they would be keeping the car for the day to properly diagnose the speaker issue. Furthermore upon getting home I noticed a crack in my windshield just above where my pillar speaker is. I am beyond disappointed as my 2015 Jetta GLI only has 46000 kms and now my windshield that was 100% not cracked before it visited the dealership and is now cracked.

My two daughters have always driven Volkswagen cars and we have been very happy with them. When my youngest needed a new car we found one at Leavens and even more luckily started dealing with Dani. Fast forward 18 months and my other daughter needed a replacement vehicle so we knew there was only one call to make. I took a day off work to have my car serviced & repaired. It had a recall & the large fan in my beetle wasn't working. I wanted an oil change & an inspection as I was taking it on a long road trip. I was told I needed an alignment & front rotor. The fan was fine. The next day I was out & noticed my front tire was viably low in air. All my tires needed air but the front driver side was really low. While sitting in a traffic jam in Toronto the small fan was overcompensating again as it did anytime it idles. On my trip a spring went on the right driver side. When I called to ask why the fan wasn't fixed I was told it didn't show a code indicating the fan wasn't working. I asked if they just rely on the computer or if they looked at the fan at all. I was told "Let's just take care of the repair needed" I asked for a loaner & if they didn't have one to please contact me the night before. I called before I left & there was no loaner available. When I called back on Monday & asked "why should I trust you again. " I was told let's just focus on getting your car fixed. I replied "I think I'll go somewhere else. " My reply was "that's up to you. " I did go somewhere else. Unfortunately they needed to get the part from you. I trusted you to fix & inspect the car because I was taking it out East. This is very diappointing. I have been a customer for years & you let me down & acted as if it wasn't a big deal. Breaking down on the highway is a big deal.

Well the time had come to replace our 2009 Jetta and our 2013 Altima. First order of business was replacing the Jetta with another Volkswagen. So my daughter purchased a 2021 Tiguan Rline and she absolutely loves it. I purchased a 2017 Dodge Ram 1500. This truck has very low mileage and actually looks brand new so I consider it a really good find. It's an eight cylinder and has a 5.7 l Hemi and it goes like a bat out of hell. I love it.

But I'm really posting this because I wanted to tell you about our sales rep Danie Lush. We had such a great experience working with her. She is extremely accommodating and engaging and she has a wicked sense of humor. I am 70 and this is the most fun I've ever had buying a vehicle. She dotted all the eyes and crossed all the t's and insured that our buying experience went without any hitches whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this dealership and if you go please ask for Danie. You will not be disappointed!

My wife and I were in the market for an upgrade from our 2017 Mazda3 and the 2020 Tiguan Highline caught our eye. We heard many great things about Leavens VW and ventured in for our purchase. I can't say enough about how well taken care of we were throughout the entire buying process. It was a no pressure environment and our sales representative, Bayar, though a few weeks fresh on the job, was professional, knowledgeable and worked hard to earn our business. Best dealership customer service in London! I was shopping for my second car, and visited 8 dealerships in London. Went to Leavens twice in October 2020, and both visits were wonderful. Our sale representative, Dani was amazing. She is knowledgeable in used and new vehicle features, and informative in pros and cons.

Unfortunately, I did not end up buying a vehicle from Leavens, but Dani's follow up phone call was much appreciated (not the typical disappointed/ upset calls) and gained my confidence in VW. Thanks, Dani!

Started well but went downhill from there. Found a car online and prior to heading to dealership used the "chat" function and confirmed vehicle was there. They said will refer me to sales person. I gave my email and name etc.got an email shortly saying vehicle was there. I had indicated will visit within 1 hour or so.when I got there, the car was ready to go out front for my inspection and test drive. Sales person was knowledgeable about the vehicle contrary to being a used car and not VW.he came on the test drive and answered my questions and engaged with me.he then offered for me and wife to continue the test drive without him. I went and inspected the vehicle further and found a bunch of rust starting on the truck behind the decals and already a small bubble.there was also some silicone inside the rear drives door as if the prior owner had put it there to avoid some rattling or wind noise.when I took vehicle back i advised salesperson about the problems to which he inspected and got a Manager involved.he told me don't worry, they will fix the car. While I do realize its a 5 year old used car, it also happens to be luxury car with less then 90,000kms. I told the sales person don't bother getting the quote to fix or include in the sales price as i am not interested in the car. The Manager at this point heard me say NO, as he walked away front door back to his office in the back. The sales person then got very defensive and snarky and loud with me saying that even 1 year old cars can rust. He seemed very upset with me about not wanting to purchase the vehicle from them.its like since i decided to say NO that i had wasted their time and i became just a sales # to them instead of the customer that initially started.since they had my car keys for the trade in, i had to ask for my keys back.i was willing to give them a chance to redeem themselves as a Dealership saying that if they find something comparable to what i was looking for to contact me, but the sales person just gave me my keys and turned around and ignored me. So much for redemption.

Tried on 3 seperate occasions to contact the dealership about a truck, never receive a reply. I guess they don't want my business.

I have since purchased a vehicle from Amerigo at Leavens and he was fantastic - he took the time to explain the entire process, made sure I knew all the little tips and tricks for the new vehicle, and kept me involved in the whole purchase process. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with Leavens and will continue to be a life-long customer.

The building is clean, and beautiful, and the staff are all courteous and knowledgeable - would recommend this dealership to anyone.

Terrible service. Very disappointed with the car and the service this dealership provides. My golf barely has 10K on it and I had to bring it in multiple times already.
Most recently, the cabin is filled with gas smell, but the dealership doesn't have the replacement parts (they never do) and thats despite the fact they fully acknowledged this is a recurrent issue in the golf model.
The staff is not helpful at all. On top of all they're not even flexible with the service appointments; the only one they can provide is 3 weeks from now. 3 weeks with this underivable car with gas fumes leaking into the cabin.

Not sure what else I was expecting with VW's recent record, but I am never spending a dime on a VW after this experience. What a shame.

If there was an option for a negative score I would've put it in here.absolutely the worst experience dealing with service department, got stuck with another new guy James.he knows even less than the other 3 losers before him. Horrible communication, basically had to beg to find the status of my vehicle in for routine service.suppose to be an hour. 3.5 hours later I find out it hadn't even gone into the shop yet.brutal. I've had it. VW can stick it.i'm dumping this vehicle strictly because of the service of the dealership, and that's pathetic.

I had to stop in to have a broken windshield wiper replaced while visiting family. Now, I don’t typically write reviews but I had to for this one. The service department was FANTASTIC and while they were fixing my wiper I chatted with a gentleman from sales. You could just tell he loved what he was selling and believed in the product! Highly recommend! Thanks Leavens!

Went in for an airbag recall, they finished the job within the time frame they stated, checked out some cars while I waited, talked to a friendly sales guy, and was on my way. Oh and they washed my car and have complimentary tea/coffee and popcorn! Thanks Leavens.

I am extremely disappointed by the lack of communication from the service department. The service manager was supposed to follow up with me about an issue I had after my last service appointment in December 2018. He contacted me by email asking what was the best time to reach me. I replied to him before Christmas to let him know when he could reach me and have emailed him again this week. I am still waiting for a response. Considering 5 cars have been purchased from Leavens since 1995, I would have hoped they would have wanted to keep me as a customer. The experience buying has always been good and the service department used to be excellent. Unfortunately their service department is not nearly as good as it used to be. I remember one of their sales people saying "We may not always beat on price, but we will always beat on service. " I cannot given my business to a service department that does not follow up with me and because of that, I will have to take my car elsewhere to get serviced.

I recently helped my Gran purchase a VW Golf from Leavens. The gentleman who assisted us, Jason Brown, was wonderful! Very honest, patient and knowledgeable. He was able to help us find my Gran the car she was looking for all with a smile on his face.

I was unimpressed with our interaction with one of the Sales Managers. He did not come across as honest and left us feeling pretty upset and disappointed.

That being said, overall it was a great experience. A different Sales Manager stepped in to complete the transaction and my Gran drove away happy! If you're in the market for a vehicle, absolutely get a hold of Jason!

Our buying experience was pretty normal from a dealership stand point. Service has been good so far, but the dealership is large and busy, so it tends to run a bit behind schedule.

Its ok. I miss when Jason and Justin did the customer service. If they were still working the service desk I'd give my review 5/5. The new staff just doesn't have the same charisma or genuine customer care.

No longer a Leavens customer as the experience has changed for the worse since moving to their current location. They went from having top notch service advisors who handled large volumes of customers to new employees who were most interested in talking to each other than being aware of what was going on with your car. Poor communication and poor follow through. Same for vehicle sales reps.

Such great customer service! A big shout out to the friendliest guy working today Torril. He's the definition of above and beyond service. Very helpful. Leavens treats their customers like family. There's a comfy waiting room with popcorn and coffee.

Loved purchasing my vehicle from there very happy. My first service was great, but my most recent service is awful. They said they couldn’t get me in until the 27th, dropped my car off on Monday said the part would come in Friday. Never received a phone call had to call them and the part still isn’t in. This is warranty work! Would they have treated me this way if I had a brand new car?
